They were fast, thorough, punctual and professional, and Kirk was a pleasure to work with. They cleaned up everything quickly and efficiently. They also gave me the best bid of the 3 estimates I got. I'd call them again, without hesitation.

I had a little trouble with the explanation; I don't think they explained everything well, but they did very good work.

Very responsive and very professional. They promised that they would do the work in 2 to 3 weeks after I agreed to the quote, they took less than 2. The crew of 4 was fast and finished in less than an hour. They left the yard cleaner than when they started. A pleasant experience. They work best if you can arrange at least 2 and preferably 4 car lengths worth of space so that they can get in their rig. Probably my best home service experience of the last 8 in the last year.

The tree split on July 1st. I called 12 tree services off of Angie's list. 5 had an answering service. I had only two callbacks. One man was nice enough to call me from his vacation. I got a call from Kirk-who gave me his cellphone number, so that I could call him back directly. He came to look at it on the 4th of July. He was amazing. He put my fears to rest and gave me first appt the next morning which was today. They did an extraordinary job. I will tell all my friends about him. Oh By the way, I am still waiting to hear back from the other 10. My suggestion is just call Kirk. I promise you an A+ job. An added benefit is that he is arborist. He is a gem.

From start to finish this company did an outstanding job. Kirk returned my call immediately, showed up for the estimate on time, explained the procedure, and finally showed up to do the job as scheduled with his crew. They threw in a little extra trimming for free to keep the symmetry of the yard, were quick, and cleaned up the debris completely, including leaving firewood in the provided space. And they were out of here in less than 3 hours!

They were very prompt. I have not decided if I will use this company but I am very impressed up to this point on the information they have given me.

Kirk and crew were very fast - whole job took just 6 hours, and it was a massive amount of lumber that they removed. Kirk called before the consult visit to say he was running a little late, something most contractors we've used never do. We made a last-minute change on him (the morning of the job), and he was fine and able to roll with it easily. His crew was very professional and efficient. We thought the price was quite fair for the amount and quality of work that was done.

Kirk McKinney was completely professional: calls were returned promptly, work was performed on time and exactly to specification, and the work team left no unnecessary debris behind. Beforehand, he spent plenty of time with me to walk the property and determine an estimate that was 100% accurate.

We had a great experience with this company. Kirk personally returned all calls promptly, showed up on time to give an estimate, performed work within one week of getting the okay, and showed up exactly when he said he would. All employees worked fast & diligently. I would most definitely recommend their services and wish that all service providers used their model.

I am very impressed, most especially in comparison with one of the locals who did a literal chop job last year on two other trees. When I need any other tree/bush work done in the future, I will hire them again with confidence. Pros all the way around: quick, efficient service.

Called on Friday to inquire; they came out Saturday for quote; booked the job on Sunday and completed the work on Monday. This was the fastest turnaround we've ever had from any contractor. Price was half of what was quoted from another company. Yard was left cleaner than when they arrived. They gave us great advice to remove a stump in the backyard when we hadn't even considered it. Would highly recommend them.

Kirk McKinney came by to give estimate on a Saturday (a little late, but he called.) He gave me an education about the trees and the rationale for different kinds of work. His company does not do feeding of trees, but he gave me his opinion on what needed to be done (mostly on what needed not to be done) and gave me the name of a company to call for feeding. My neighbors had an estimate from another company for more than $900, just to trim the large maple. His crew did the work 4 days later. The trees look great and they cleared up all the branches, twigs (and even left us some firewood size pieces on top of our woodpile.) I would absolutely use this company again.

After unsuccessfully trying to get a handful of other companies to cut down our trees (there were many dead branches and the trees were too close to the house/garage for comfort), we found the Mckinney Bros Tree Service. They were excellent. Kirk and his team were very friendly, timely and they even provided me with ear plugs so that I could watch the process. They were quick and cleaned up the yard after the process was done. One thing I liked was that I didn't have to argue with the company about why I wanted the trees gone. Kirk's philosophy is the preservation of trees AND property unlike the other companies that I contacted which appeared to be only for the preservation of the trees. Would highly recommend them.

I called and left a message requesting an estimate on some tree work, and they returned my call within an hour or so. The office manager said that she would check to see if they provide service in my area and would call me back as soon as she spoke with the owner. She called back promptly, but unfortunately, they do not provide service in my area. Although they didn't do any work for me, they were very responsive and the office manager was very nice, professional, and helpful.

Company was very responsive to phone calls, returned them quickly. Came out promptly for an estimate (in the rain!) and thoroughly discussed the job at hand. Scheduled the job to fit my schedule, showed up on time, and did the work quickly and professionally with a quality cleanup afterwards.

Job 1: They were on time, friendly, responsible and did the job well and to my specifications. I would definitely use them again. They were also $1000.00 less than the next cheapest estimate. Job 2: McKinney Brothers service was excellent. They were clear about the work that needed to be done and gave me a fair price. They were delayed due to snow but called to cancel and reschedule. They came on time on and did an excellent job. After pruning, they cleared away more tree branches than they had contracted for.

THEY RETURNED THE CALL THE SAME DAY AND CAME IN TWO DAYS. THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND FOR HALF THE PRICE THAT I WAS QUOTED ELSEWHERE.

EXCELLENT. THE TREES WERE CUT WELL, THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO ANY OF THE PROPERTY, AND OUR LAWN ENDED UP CLEANER THAN WHEN THEY SHOWED UP.
