Kirk thoroughly reviewed the tree and gave thoughtful opinion about de-branching versus cutting it down. He and crew arrived promptly on the scheduled day and worked quickly and tidily. Excellent service, knowledgeable guys. Would definitely go to them again.

Company staff responded quickly to our initial phone call about getting an estimate. Within a few days of the initial phone call, Kirk came by, consulted with us about the work we hoped to have done, and provided an estimate at the time of that visit. Within 2 weeks of the estimate, Kirk returned with his crew, and completed the job. They arrived on time, and completed the job within the time period specified. McKinney Brothers worked quickly, efficiently and safely. They were courteous and professional. They removed all debris. We wouldn't hesitate to work with them again and highly recommend them.

The company was great. The entire job was quick (about 45 minutes) and professional. I would certainly hire them again. One point to note is that there is a minor backlog in scheduling work -- it took about 2 weeks to get them on site.

They started a 7:30AM as they said they would. Large crew 6 guys bucket truck. I watched them take the trees down, no confusion no missed moves they were done in about 3 hours. Very neat job and they didn't break any of the utility wires that were going through the trees. The two old maples they cleaned up retained their shape and still look good. I didn't get an estimate from anyone else so maybe I could have got the job done cheaper but not better.

This was actually an enjoyable experience from start to finish because of the high level of expertise and excellent communication Kirk McKinney delivers. Kirk is professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and artistic. I really appreciated the way he considered safety, health and beauty of the trees, and issues of coverage for privacy in planning the work to be done. He was extremely organized, showed up on time and with a large crew is able to complete the work very efficiently. He and the workers were responsive to my questions and left our place looking great.

Mr. McKinney gave me an estimate to cut and remove trees that were too close to the home. He provided me with three options and provided information as to why each option would be beneficial. After about a week I chose the first option to trim trees away from the home. I chose not to do any removal of trees which was outlined in the other options.

They were very professional Everyone knew just what to do. The whole Job took about 3 hours.

They stopped by quickly to do the quote; were very responsive once we had made a decision and came by within a matter of days to complete the job. The workman was also very helpful about other uses for the ground-up tree stump.

They did an excellent job and I was pleased with the service. I would recommend them to anyone because they were on time and friendly. They did not leave a lot of mess behind and the work was completed in a very neat and orderly fashion.

Terrific. Kirk got in touch with us right away, came over and examined all the things we needed doing and told us how long it would take, gave us a written estimate, and made an appointment for the work. He and his crew showed up on time and did everything we asked, then he noticed that other things needed to be done, and he did those, too. Only took a couple of hours. This cost just a minor amount over the estimate. He is fair, has good workers, does an excellent job.

McKinney did a fantastic job. I would use them again. They were neat and accurate about how they removed my trees. I had no complaints with them and I would refer them to others.

Incredible. Found them on Angie's list. They returned my call within 24 hours (husband and wife are owners). Kirk came by within 48 hours for an estimate. Much better than someone that stops by when you're not home! He spent over an hour with us going over options and checking things out, incredibly knowledgeable and nice to work with. Price was very fair. We signed up on the spot, and he was back within 4 days of doing the job (done today) with his crew of 6 or 7, all very nice and professional. We live on a busy road and Kirk knew the best times to do the work so the chipper would not affect the traffic. Went so smoothly. We are very happy with McKinney's work.

Excellent, did exactly as promised at a great price. Hardly messed up the lawn despite the soaking rains of the past week. Very highly recommended...have used in the past and will use in the future.

You get more than your money's worth on the price. They were very efficient.

We had a lot of undesirable trees. We wanted to plant new ones. They had great customer service, were a pleasure to work with, very helpful with work, and with advice. They were more expensive than other quotes we got, but were more helpful too.

Everything was really great. Kirk came out a few days after I emailed my request to give a quote. We accepted the quote without comparing others as after I emailed 5 tree services only one other responded and they wouldn't have even gotten me a quote until another week later. Kirk and company scheduled to come out a few days after we accepted the quote and did the work on schedule. Everything was well done and there was no mess to clean up.

Excellent. Kirk McKinney led the work effort and he was a consummate professional. He came initially to review the proposed work and provided a quote at that time. I gave him the work right on the spot (it was that clear he was the right one for the job).

We received an on site estimate and the job was scheduled for one week later. The men arrived on time and completed the job as requested meeting all our requests. They were on time, professional, knowledgeable and a hard-working team. They cleaned up as they worked and when they drove away there was no sign they were there except a great row of neatly trimmed trees.

They did not respond to my email request for information.

I called many people, McKinney was only one of two that managed actually give me an estimate. His price seemed fair and his company was very experienced. On the morning of the big day, Kirk and his crew showed up 15 minutes early and quickly got to work. It was quite an amazing process to watch. The thuds from the very large limbs landing on the ground not far from our house made me nervous, but it was clear that all of the crew were very good at their jobs. In the middle of it all, my husband went out to request that a piece of one of the trees be saved. They didn't hesitate to help us. The removal of the vines that went up at least three stories off the ground from the large oak was simultaneous to the removal of the two trees. After both of those jobs were done, the crew raked up the leaves that fell. The person who removed the stumps did a fantastic job. The log truck came by around one to pick up the enormous pieces of the trees. An incredible job in less than six hours.

They came to give us an estimate right away, but it was several months before they got around to doing the work. I had told them we could wait, but I would have appreciated a follow up phone call. The weather had not cooperated either, so it was a long time before they could even possibly *do* the job. When they arrived to do the job, they had quite the crew and were very quick about the work. We were satisfied with the work.

McKinney Brothers was extremely responsive right from my first phone call. Kirk and his crew were on time and very professional. They worked fast and efficiently. One of the trees was in a difficult spot and they took it down without any difficulty. When they left, the site was left spotless; not a twig or leaf in sight. I will definitely use them for any future work of this nature.

I was very pleased that they were able to restore the tree. They arrived on time and explained the whole procedure. Very smooth operation. The damage was expertly repaired and the bid was about half that of another company (the other company was going to remove the whole tree). A third company did not return my call. I'm thankful the balance around the house is restored and the entire tree did not have to be removed. Luckily, we do not have a septic tank, or they would have had to move their huge equipment from the driveway to the tree by a more difficult route. All were very polite.

I originally called Kirk on a Saturday due to a big tree branch down on my fence and blocking a neighbor's driveway. He returned my call within an hour, set up a time to see my property. I had been meaning to call a tree service for some tree removal. The large branch down on one prompted my call sooner. We worked out the price and he called me the day before to arrange the time. Kirk was polite and even helped out cutting up some old fence that I needed to get rid of.
