Kirk McKinney met me at the promised time and date to review the work and make recommendations. He was extrememly knowledgable, knows his business very well. He can an estimate for the work and left me a written quote. He also informed me that it would take 2-3 weeks to schedule after authorization to proceed. After I awarded the work, I was called on a Sunday afternoon of the week that the work was to be performed the exact day and approximate time they would arrive. It all transpired exactly as promised. I highly recommend this company - the degree of professionalism and service was outstanding.

McKinney Bros. was wonderful to work with. He came by and gave a quick and efficient quote. He fit us into their schedule quickly. They arrived with a bunch of people and a ton of equipment. They performed all the work in about an hour. He was kind enough to do extra work that we didn't think of until he arrived for very little additional money, he kept throwing in more pruning and cutting and moving even though he was on a deadline to get to another job. He was thorough here. We are very pleased with the quality of work that was done. He has a direct approach that works for me. He gave thoughtful feedback about next steps and off they went. I would definitely work with McKinney Bros. again.

I called for an estimate to do some tree work and the company replied right away. Kirk came with a crew and removed a very large branch that had been damaged during the winter. They then worked on cutting back a group of cedar trees that were on the edge of the property. They also cut six or seven large branches from trees that were on the edge of the property. His crew worked fast and efficiently. They raked and cleaned all areas where they had worked. The trees look great . We were very pleased with McKinney Bros Tree Service.

Great experience. Kim and Kurt were on top of things and kept me in the loop throughout the process. I have used McKinney Brothers before and the experience has always been fantastic. I definitely recommend them.

Kirk McKinney was quick to respond, a pleasure to deal with, and highly professional. He needed access via a neighbor's yard and driveway, and spoke directly to the neighbor about it, at my suggestion. My neighbor praised Kirk highly for his professionalism and courtesy throughout the process. The work they did was also highly professional. They ground the stump down as much as possible (without removing it) and did a great job of minimizing damage to our yard. We would use them again in a flash!

They did an amazing job. I live in a house on a hill and it was a very tall tree. They had to get special equipment, close off the street and they took care of everything. They worked with the utility company to get the wires covered, then discovered on the morning of the job that they had covered the wires on the wrong side of the house (I live on a corner). However, working VERY carefully they were able to complete the job even though the equipment they had was just barely appropriate for that height (which was why the other wires were supposed to be covered). He was very professional during the entire process and did a meticulous job. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

They are great. I've used them a couple of times and they have been fabulous. They are very, very responsive. The owner really knows his business and he knows trees. I've called him to get his opinion and he has come over and not charged. He is very honest and very ethical. He will tell me if I need to worry about something or if I don't need to do anything. He is a really good honest guy to deal with. They have all the equipment to do the job well, quickly and safely. They are well equipped and there are never any problems with stuff falling where it shouldn't. His prices are pretty much in line with others when I have gotten other bids. They are good. He and his people are top-notch. I will absolutely use him again.

They did a great job. Their quote was accurate. They came when they said they were going to come. They actually did a little bit more work than was agreed to. They were punctual and on time. The staff was very friendly. They cleaned up after themselves well. They were very prepared for the work. They knew exactly what they were going to do, and they did it quickly and efficiently. I felt that the pricing was competitive.

I called on Tuesday and Mr. Mckinney arrived an hour later to explain the process of reduction. I was glad he was not going to remove the tree. He went on to explain that the tree would be good looking again. They were here on Thursday. Mr. McKinney was on site and doing the work with his crew. The work was done quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. Mr. Mckinney is very knowledgeable and conscientious. He did a wonderful job.

We have used them in the past and just thie recent time as well. They are always professional, punctual and very friendly. When weather interfered with the date they had intended to do the work, they were very prompt and courteous about communicating schedule changes. They are great.

It was great. The owner of the company was very friendly when he came out to do the estimate. He said they were very busy because it was after a snowstorm and he said they would be in touch to give us a definite time. I called back to confirm and somebody in the office was very kind and got back to us. They did the job and everything was spotless once they left. They are going to come back when things melt to mulch the stump. They were excellent. I didn't compare prices.

A great experience overall. Kirk arrived promptly to provide an estimate which he did on the spot. The price was about half as much as other bids we received and since we had read such good reviews on Angie's List, we decided to give them a try. We weren't disappointed. He called within a few weeks over the weekend to schedule the work that week. On the day of the service, ~10 guys came and climbed up all of the trees on the property and finished in about an hour or so. Pretty good for trimming 5 large trees. We were happy with the work. Some of the branches were cut in odd places and if I had a special tree that I wanted trimmed in the future I might use another provider, but for general brute force trimming I would definitely use McKinney Bros again in the future, especially since the price was amazing.

He felt I would be better served by companies that specialize in this type of work and gave me the names of two firms to contact. I appreciated the fact that he knew it wasn't the right job for him and knew where to refer me.

Kirk McKinney was a pleasure to deal with. He was prompt, gave good, conservative, and aesthetically sound advice, was very careful with the yard and plantings (his crew does a good deal of the work by climbing the trees, and kept the cherry picker on the street), and left the property cleaner than it had been. All of the work was done in one day. Kirk did for $3,800 what a large, well-known company had quoted at $6,440.

They are truly amazing! Showed up early as they knew I was leaving for the weekend. I watched them work; and they were a well-oiled machine! Great job, safe, fast, neat workers, very organized. Not as loud as I thought they would be. I was very happy with them, and will use them whenever I need any tree work done. They did lots of work on my street for others and did great for everyone! Highly recommended!

Kirk showed up promptly to make an estimate, was friendly and knowledgable. Once we negotiated with our neighbor, we put Kirk in contact with him and he was happy to deal with two parties and split the bill. The work was performed while we were at work and the area was left clean, with only the piles of woodchips, which we were happy to have for mulch. Cost was as estimated.

I have used McKinney brothers before and thus I did not bid out this job. Kurt came when scheduled for the estimate .... professional, personable, and informative. We were put on a call list to have the job scheduled and it was done in the approximate time-line that Kurt had indicated when he did the estimate. I was not there when they took down the tree ... but there was little to no damage done to my property. They did leave the logs when I thought they were taking them away but that was probably just a mis-communication .... given that it was several weeks between the estimate and the job. I will be using Mckinney Brothers again.

My call to the company was returned the same day. Kirk McKinney came over that afternoon and gave me an estimate. In additional to the storm damage he recommended that a few additional limbs that were overhanging close to my house be trimmed as well. I had wanted to have the overhanging limbs cut myself earlier in the season so I was able to get everything done in one job. The job was completed 2 days later. Kirk was prompt, personal and professional. I would use the company again and have already recommended them to a friend who also has storm damage.

Arrived on day promised. Cleaned all debris caused by trimming and pruning. Overall, service was performed professionally.

They provided us with a quote before hand and we've used them before. They do a good job and they're very reasonably priced. I would tell others to use them, they do a good job and they're very efficient. I'll probably be needing them again soon.

McKinney Bros did an excellent job advising us on how to best prune our trees all around our house. They arrived on time and continued to consult with us during the tree service process. They were efficient and careful, did an excellent job, and cleaned up effectively. They also performed a little bit of extra work as requested on the spot for no additional charge. I would definitely recommend this company highly and also suggest that it is good to be on premises while they are performing the work because they are very collaborative and assuring in terms of what they are doing. They were also very good at accommodating our scheduling needs.
