Description of Work: As General Contractor, Ed's Construction Co, was contracted to build our daughter's entire house. One of his "selling points" was that he was local and was right there nearby should there be any problems. Whereas his own craftsmen and carpenters did excellent work, he was unwilling to "back up" the poor workmanship and shoddy craftsmanship of his subcontractors; in particular his electrician and excavation subcontractors. We contacted him multiple times regarding problems which were caused by the poor excavation job done at the house which caused water to flow toward and seep through the house foundation, but received NO answer. We eventually had no choice but to hire (at our expense) someone else to fix the problem. As to his electrical subcontractor, he misrepresented the work done and we are still trying to correct his shoddy work.
