Surpassed expectations!!! Katie Rosenfeld & her decorating partner Michelle King (hence Rosenfeld King), are probably the most talented decorators I've worked with. When we first moved here, I was at a complete loss of where to look, etc. They were the third set of decorators I began work with. I did try working with a decorator from Angie's List that was highly recommended, but our styles didn't quite match (i have no complaints - just a misalignment in styles). The second decorator, a non-Angie's List one, was a complete dud and very costly. I ran into Michelle King (& Katie) by accident and knew *immediately* they were what I was looking for - that jaw dropping wow effect for a home in Weston without the Weston prices. The first hour alone for the initial consult was transforming - after looking around, doing some initial brainstorming and spending a little time re-arranging existing furniture in our living and completely transformed it into a much more comfortable, inviting room. I can't explain it - they simply positioned things (we only added 1 piece of furniture which was an end table) and voila - the room was completely different. They just have that extra something which you do not come across often. What really sets them apart is their depth of creativity, responsiveness and ability to deliver on a budget and resourcefulness. At a certain point, my budget was running thin (because I expanded on another area) and they helped creatively come up with ideas using Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware when I needed it. They have unbelievable *connections* and know where to source items that work beautifully and meet budgets but decorate in a fabulous way, e.g., didn't want to spend $1000/window on window treatments, they came up with fabric choices from Zimmans and did all my LeFoyer window treatments for a fraction of what it would normally cost, tying it into a single theme. I could go on forever. If you do call them,- just to get an idea, ask to see their homes (*unbelievable*). What I really love about their styling, which I have come to learn and appreciate as a client, is that they make things practical, beautiful but have the feel of a real home that's lived in (not like a stiff museum or hotel). Even the tile & stone people I worked with mentioned they were *very* talented and how lucky I was to find people like that. One of our neighbors drove up our driveway the other day and through the windows from the outside remarked how beautiful our stair runner was and wants to do something similar. I've been working with them over several months. Lastly, Katie & Michelle just helped me with colors and suggestions for a new media room/family room we're building out which is nearly done and it is already looking fabulous. Working with Katie & Michelle, - you're working directly, one-on-one with top talent, senior or Master level designers at competitive rates. I can't rave enough. The quality of life in our home has improved dramatically. Our kids, my husband and myself *love* living in our house. Love, love, love it !!!
