Urizandi's Plastering

They were prompt and efficient and did a great job. They also painted two rooms and came on Saturday morning to finish because they knew we were in San upheaval without the use of two rooms. I highly recommend them and plan to have another room done next year.

Uriizandi's Plastering did nothing which is frustrating when looking to hire a contractor and they do not return a call. I would however consider making another call to this company in order to give them a second chance.

Jay provided our first bid for work. He was punctual, responsive, and returned all of our phone calls and e-mails in a very timely fashion. Jay was our first choice in terms of timing of the job but was underbid by another provider.

One day job, start to finish. On time and very pleased with the work.

I was given a quote to replaster the ceiling in the main area of the house along with refilling of the hole left by the removal of recessed lights. That went well and I was happy with the work overall. I would have preferred to have the light fixtures moved and have the plaster under the fittings. At that point I thought that I could give Jeerson additional work. He pulled up some bad tiling that I had tried to do and relaid new tiles. He has never finished the floor, the tiles have Ben laid, although not totally evenly and almost immediately we could hear cracking of the grout/adhesive loosing its stability. I have a couple of tiles that are loose one year later. Up til this point we had agreed a price. Then we moved onto me paying by the day and providing the materials. I was told that this is a more reasonable way of doing the work. I thought we would change the basement ceiling from suspended tiles to a proper ceiling. This was way out of Jeerson's abilities. It took about 4 weeks to complete and the gang become way too familiar as I was paying for 8 hours of work, but they were not here for 8 hours or they would take at least two breaks during the 8 hours but they did not stay later than the 8 hours. An electrician was brought in who caused two problems that I have has to either have another electrician repair or it was repaired during the time I was paying for! Once we started the ceiling in the basement, work on both the kitchen in the main part of the house and we replaced the kitchen downstairs in the basement. This dragged on for another three weeks. Downstairs the work is ok but not to a high standard which is not in keeping with the cost for the hours put in. The kitchen upstairs has several problems, ie some of the counter sheet has slipped from where it was glued to the frame work. I do not have a complete kitchen because I chose not to continue. This weekend, Aug 26 2012, I had a leak into the basement because the main join under my sink has broken because Jeerson did not reconnect the pipes correctly after the work was done replacing the counter top. During the whole process, and I have chosen to condense the story, I had Jeerson pick up a bagster bag for the trash from the work. He kept the receipt, which was my error. The receipt had the code for the removal of the bag. After 9 months of asking for Jeerson promising to take care of it, locate the code or even move the trash to his property, i paid an additional $145 over the initial $140 to have the bag removed from my front yard. I told Jeerson that I would give not give a good review on Angie's List and again I had one of the many empty promises to remedy the problem over the bagster.

It went well overall. It was a fairly big job and we were happy with the service.

I would grade him a B.

The crew came in and had only a couple of days to perform repairs and to refinish a basement. The crew worked quickly and efficiently with a very tight deadline. They cleaned their work areas each day. As usual, "one thing led to another" and we ended up asking the crew to do more work than initially planned. The crew managed to do the extra work within the initial time line by working longer days - and without taking pricing advantage of a captive customer.

The team showed up on time. I had been quoted over $1000 more than their quote a day ealier. They worked on my roof using safety harnesses rather than just walking on the roof decreasing the chance for injury working safely. The work was done quickly and all side walks, and my driveway were completely cleared of the snow that came off the roof. Excellent work at a great price.

Work was excellent, quick, and very reasonable compared to 2 other quotes I received. Work area was left very clean. Service was friendly and I did not feel like I needed to manage the project to make sure what I originally asked for was done correctly the first time. Highly recommend them.

Jeerson's company came highly recommended from friends. They were supposed to only refinish walls and paint the interior of our house, however they did such a good work that we decided to have them fix a half bathroom, install flooring, install ceiling moulding and do various repairs around the house. They worked on a tight deadline of about nine days and finished work on time and on budget - even though they had to do more work than originally planned. Nicely done!
