Mill Design and Blinds

We had shades and blinds installed in several rooms. We were very happy with both the sales and installations processes. The app for controlling the shades is great. We would definitely use Mill Design again.

Love the service, the product and the installation. Very professional and knowledgeable….much more so than the “average” sales person. If any problems, you know they are there to help.

We hired Mill Design and Blinds for the second time after purchasing a new home, and it was an easy decision for us! Once again the team assessed our needs, visited the home and took detailed measurements, and made recommendations that were just perfect! It was a large job too - as we needed blinds for every window in our home - but they made it easy. And now that they're installed, we love the new blinds - especially the sliding blind for our patio door! The installation was so efficient as well, as they removed the old blinds and even found a vendor who was willing to receive them and give them a second life. The guys are super friendly and professional, as it's a family business and they love what they do. They were respectful of our home and were done in no time. And it completely transformed the space when they were done! My wife and I wouldn't hire anyone else for this work!

Rob came to the house within 15 minutes of speaking with him and we had chosen a beautiful pleated shade for our newly remodeled bathroom. It was just the finishing touch that was need to add a pop of color. The color selection of shades from Hunter Douglas is phenomenal! Thank you Rob.

I had a very positive experience using Mill Design & Blinds. Rick helped me pick out a shade of grey for my vertical blind for my slider that is a great match for my walls, and a gorgeous fabric for my two accompanying window valances. He installed everything perfectly and all was done in a very timely manner. We were very pleased. Cindi picked out a fabric that i never would have thought of for our newly painted living room while complimenting an older sofa . I absolutely love it . We had 5 windows that also needed blinds. Rick is so easy to work with . The installer did a beautiful job. We have had previous window treatments for our family room. Madaline work with us. Everything was spectacular- Rick came and did a great job. I highly recommend Rick and Cindi- they are a great team.

Two consummate craftsmen arrived precisely at the scheduled time with ALL their necessary tools, equipment, food and drinks. They worked for one and one half days and left the new carpeting vacuum clean and removed ALL scraps and debris. I know that carpeting is supposed to have seams----but I can't find a single one and the work in the hidden areas like closets and stair wheels is as precise as the more open and visible areas. It's always a satisfying experience to work with professionals.

It was easy to do business with Rick and Cindi at Mill Design Center. The installers showed up on time and performed to the installation within the time frame allocated. They cleaned up and left my home without any problems. The carpet is beautiful and feels so good on my feet!

Lots of personal attention that I would not have gotten if I had bought these online. I may be old fashioned but I prefer to buy from a company that takes the time to explain the product and help in the shopping experience. Nice to see the fabric in advance onsite. Beautiful store display (gallery) in their lovely, large showroom. I was able to see the full line of the Hunter Douglas products and understood all the options before making my selection. They helped me work within my budget by showing various options. It made the whole experience more comfortable. There were no surprises when final products arrived. Received personal phone call from owner when custom shades were in. Scheduled appointment quickly for installation which was performed perfectly. Couldn't have gone more smoothly. A pleasure to deal with this family run business that truly offers exceptional products and customer service.

I want to tell you how pleased I was in doing business with Rick and Cindy the owner's of The Mill Design Center they made everything so easy whiter it be with there quality products and knowledge . They filled my home with wood blinds ,vignettes, carpets and curtains . They gave me help with picking out the prefect style in design , and material . I am absolutely delighted with the beautiful silhouette window treatments recently purchased at and installed in my new home by Mill Design Center in North Chelmsford, Ma. Cindi was a pleasure to work with. I came to her with two different window treatments in mind and very unsure of what I wanted. Her professional manner, patience, and experience guided through the decision process leading me to recognize the functionality and design I was searching for. The quality of the silhouette shades she suggested are just as I expected. Cindi understood I was searching a soft look for windows throughout my home. Her suggestion of silhouette shading was exactly what I wanted and did not know it. The soft adjustable fabric vanes between sheer fabric panels allow me to control the sunlight, while a slight adjustment offers privacy. The design of the window treatments presents a quiet elegance to each room, just as Cindi said it would. The scheduling of the measuring and installation was very convenient for me. I could not be happier with my purchase and my choice of Mill Design Center in North Chelmsford, Ma. Thank you Cindi and Rick for making my vision a reality.

Installed motorized shades and left everything in perfect condition. Rick is top-notch and I highly recommend him. Also, his wife, Cindi, has the most amazing design sense and can help sort through the thousands of samples in their shop to hit just the right notes.

Mill Design strives for complete satisfaction and every customer being a reference. Rick goes to all reasonable lengths to make his customers happy. After my blinds were installed, I called and requested an adjustment to the hanging of one set, and he returned to hang the blinds as I requested. I think there are two things that Mill Design could improve upon: 1) I like to ponder things at length, especially where a lot of money is concerned, and at times I felt rushed, mostly because of Rick's high energy and 2) I think it would be good practice to call the customer after an installation (especially where the customer was not present during the installation) and say "How do you like them? Is everything to your satisfaction?" I felt that it was awkward to have to call the Design Center and say "I'm not completely satisfied yet." That said, once I did muster the s**** to call back, Rick was 110% all-in at coming back and making sure things were fixed to my liking. Even on the return to adjust the hanging of the blinds to my liking, again I wasn't present only my husband was, he never called to close the loop and make sure **I** was happy with it. I am happy with the adjustment. it's just that I was the customer, not my husband who happened to be available. But definitely check out Mill Design, who will make you happy.
