I emailed Mike on May 6th. He responded very quickly. Picked up the lawn tractor on the 7th. Did yearly maintenance & cleaned it up. Because I was leaving on a trip, Mike gave it priority and returned it on May 11th. I was going to have the mower transported to my daughter in Connecticut and Mike gave me information tips about towing it. Sorry it took me so long to complete this review.

It went well from my first contact with Mike to my pickup on 6/1/2013. Mike replaced the gas line that disintegrated,cleaned the carburetor, and filled the gas tank. Mike was prompt in returning emails that I sent and overall it was a great experience.

Mike came to pick up the snow blower from my driveway, and informed me a day later that a peddle might be in the engine/piston, and let me know the expected repair cost and ask me if he should proceed to repair. I asked him if I chose not to repair and how much he would charge me. I replied there is no charge. He did the repair and delivered back to my driveway pretty quickly with oil changed and other small repairs. I am happy with his service and Mike is very professional and clear in communication.

Our snowblower from the 1970s died in the last storm. Contacted Mike and he agreed to pick up the snowblower for repair and return it to our home. He arrived same day, performed the repair and had it returned to us the next day. Due to work schedules, we couldn't be at home for either pick up or delivery, but Mike was totally accomodating and worked around it without issue. The repair cost us only $90.00 and the blower is in perfect working order. Mike's is a fantastic, local business (which I prefer to patron), quick to respond, quality work and a fair price. Highly recommend. Mike also repaired our rider lawnmower last summer and we had the same excellent experience.

Mike demeanor was pleasant. He operates by cell phone. You leave a message or e-mail and he contacts you. I did connect once or twice directly by phone. I told him I had a Snowbird Snowblower. He said he knew them well, but could not come and pick it up. I would have to drop it off. It is a big garage next to his home. It seems he does this work on the side and the garage is vacant of any human activity. I told him what I would like him to look at. After being there for a month, he said I could pick it up. Said he looked it over and it ran fine. He could fix the chute, but he did remove the old cable. I asked him about the reverse and he said show me what you mean. I knew then he did not look at it. I asked him about the drive, he said it was fine. I asked about the leak, he said the oil all over the engine was normal. Then charged me $70 dollars. I know that if you work on something, but cannot fix it, you still compensate for work done. Since then, I have taken the machine home, removed the cable that he said he removed and replaced it with a new one. The chute now works beautifully. He said the cable ran under the engine. Come to find out, after taking it apart myself, it didn't. Then I fixed the drive that he said was fine. I even learned how to adjust the belt that he said he did, which obviously he did not, and now the reverse is working perfectly. It was doing the work myself that made me realize what he did not do. I am not a smallengine repair person, but fixed almost all the things he said he fixed, besides the leak.

I learned of Mike's Equipment through word-of-mouth and Angie's List. My experience was GREAT from start to finish. Mike called me back on the same day. He picked up my equipment from my home and after tune ups were done delivered them to my daughter's home. Tune up costs were very reasonable. Delivery was an additional fee but well worth it since I didn't have the means to bring the John Deere or snow thrower any place. I'm definitely going to use Mike's Equipment Repairs for any/all equipment repairs I have in the future. He was FANTASTIC!!!

I was able to use email to get my questions answered and arrange the pick up and delivery, and Mike did pick-up and delievry with me having to stay home. Went very smoothly and never had to play phone-tag or stay home to meet someone. The work was fast and the chipper now runs perfectly. The price was good for the service.

He was very responsive in terms of calls and emails. He is very punctual and would call if there was ever an issue. He gave us an estimate on the machine and repaired it. After the lawn mower was repaired, there was a problem where the blade were scratching on the side of the machine. He came back and corrected it at no extra charge. He is very professional and we are happy with his services.

Mike is Awesome! My Sears lawn tractor (bought about 1997) needed several repairs - Head gasket (oil leak), full tune-up, replacement of both spindles (where the blades attach), and a flat tire. Mike picked it up, was excellent about communicating with me, and brought it in at the estimate he said. The tractor runs like new, and I *could not be happier*. Thanks Mike!

Mike was prompt and efficient and final cost was as estimated. He picked up and dropped off the snowblower on schedule. Price was a little more than I expected for a tune-up. But I don't have any other of experience with this type of service so it may have been in line with others. Not sure how involved cleaning the nests out of the axles was I was happy with the service and will use him again if needed.

My father in law gave me a old Simplicity snow blower that was not running. Saw positive reviews for Mike and his business is also in same town I live in so decided to give him my business... I was not disappointed! Mike contacted me less than 10 minutes after submitting the 'Contact Us' form on his website and offered to pick up the snow blower that same day! After Mike picked it up (same day) he send me follow up email three days later letting me know the work was complete and offered to drop it back off, which he did. A couple days later I noticed that the gas was leaking a bit so I emailed MIke back, he once again was able to pick it up the same day, resolved the issue that was causing the leak, and then emailed me to confirm he was dropping it off the next day. The snow blower runs great, and works great, it was just too bad it was such a mild winter so I didn't get a lot of use out of it. Mike is extremely responsive over email and seems to be more email oriented (most likely for the convenience factor), but was also available for phone call. He appeared to be a straight to the point, tell you how it is, don't waste time, friendly guy. Very impressed and will definitely go back to him/recommend him to others.

They picked the broken snowblower, let us know by email what was wrong and gave us a quote, and then delivered it as promised. Everything was seamless

Excellent service. Had Snowblower picked up for a tune up and to replace pull cord. Mike's equipment arranged to pick and return the snowblower.

Mike was great. Worked with me over the phone several times prior to coming over and fixing. Snow blower has all gears now and I'm ready for the season.

Mike is a pleasure to work with. He responds readily to both phone calls and emails. He came to our house to pick up the lawn tractor and then returned 2 days later after completion of services. In addition, the tractor was thoroughly clean, looking like new again. Afterwards, Mike went over some additional care instructions for our tractor.

Everything worked beautifully after the repairs and maintenance were done. I was very pleased with everything.

We discovered our snowblower wouldn't start after the first big snow of the season. We called Mike, who returned our call promptly. He came out and picked up the snowblower the next day, promised it within four days and returned it in two days, just ahead of the next big snow. He had serviced nearly 90 snowblowers that week! We're very happy with his service and will be calling him in the spring to do an onsite, end-of-season service so we'll be all ready for whatever NEXT winter brings.

Just before leaving for Christmas travel (12/23) I found that the snow thrower would not start. I discovered that the spark plug wire had been eaten away. Contacted Mike's via web and E-mail. He said he would pick it up that night (and did, within 1/2 hr. of appointed time). He ordered the part, estimating that it would arrive on 12/29 (the date of our return). In response to my 12/29 E-mail, he told me that the part had arrived, that the machine would be back on 12/30, 11 AM, and that the total charge would be $180. It was delivered when promised, and I discovered that he had done more than just replace the damaged component. He told me about the mouse nest cleanup and engine/fuel system fixes; I later discovered the other improvements. He did not give me an estimate, which worried me initially. I think it is just that he wants to do a thorough job and only knows what that will take once he has gotten in and done it. I feel that the bill was entirely reasonable and I am a very satisfied customer. The snow thrower is now working like new.

It was an "A" experience from beginning to end. Professional, timely, high quality of work, and excellent communication. Will definitely go back again.
