Mike seemed very professional. Although he couldn't help in this situation and seemed to know that from the message I left, he called back promptly and was very helpful. I would call him in the future if I need roofing work.

The roofers arrived on time and completed the job in one day. They were professional and cleaned up after they were completed. I would highly recommend the company.

It was old, had to be fixed. They are fair, honest, prompt. They also do very good work.

They were very professional, they provided us with a very detailed quote, they completed a very large job in two days. Overall I am very satisfied with this company. They were very careful not to damage any of our property.

The crew showed up early in the morning and a dumpster was delivered. They attached large tarps to the edge of the roof and slid the old shingles down so that they wouldn't damage any foundation plantings. With 10 or 12 workers on the roof, it was stripped in less than an hour. They replaced the plywood in one area and began shingling while another group removed the plywood from the other half of the roof. They were extremely well organized and efficient. When it looked like we might get hit by rain, the crew chief brought more people from another job close by. The entire job took 8 or 9 hours. When they were done cleaning up, my yard looked better than before they started. We've had some heavy rain since the job was done and there have been no problems.

From first contact to final handshake, this was a great experience. Michael (the owner) made a good first impression on my husband when he came to measure our steep and complicated roof and give us samples of the shingles. He provided the most professional estimate we saw, and continued to be informative and responsive throughout the process. We were scheduled quickly, within a window we specified, and Michael handled the procurement of the skylight. Scheduling on the morning the job started was perfect: the crew arrived a few minutes early, Michael came to make sure we were all talking about the same thing, and we walked around the house together to confirm all details. Within 30 minutes, the tarps were up, the old shingles were coming off, and the dumpster arrived. There was always a crew member working the wheelbarrow to clean up as they went. The new shingles arrived approximately an hour and a half later, just as the crew was checking/repairing the roof boards. Once the ice/water barrier and drip edge were up, they staged the shingles and took a short lunch break. While shingling commenced, two crew members installed the skylight to my satisfaction (this was a bit fiddly because the original opening was an odd size). Michael was even available over the phone and rushed over for a quick consultation that put me at ease. During final clean up, the crew even used some touch-up paint I had to correct where one of the ropes had rubbed a bit. Michael came back to oversee the final touches and make sure we approved the work. My driveway, patio, and back porch were cleaner than when they arrived. The house looks great, and there were no leaks during a torrential rain last night. Completely professional from start to finish, and I will recommend Express Roofing to anyone who lives out in the area.

I am a hard grader and I believe Mike entertained detail and was responsive to my questions about the nuances of my roof. They were efficient and knowledgeable. They did good work.

An amazing experience from start to finish. I called on a Thursday for an estimate; received an estimate from Mike (the owner) on Friday; contacted him Monday for answers to my many questions; and by the next Wednesday at noon my house had a beautiful new roof. Though I assume my job was scheduled extra-quickly due to a last-minute opening in the schedule, from my experience Mike is extremely responsive as a rule. He uses a great system and a large skilled crew to complete the job in a day. No shortcuts even though the job was done fast. Mike was also very knowledgeable about roofing materials, and provided informed recommendations about what to choose for good performance and cost. If all home renovations could go this well, there would be nothing left on my to-do list! They've made me a loyal customer for life.

We talked to five roofing companies & picked Express Roofing due to good referrals, & straightforward & detailed answers. Mike Cortner (the owner) answered all my questions. He said that he could do it in a day. I was skeptical, but they did! The quality of the work was outstanding. A bunch of guys showed up at 7 am (on time) & completed all the work by 4 pm. They were all professional. Each knew exactly what he was doing. They got the process down, & worked efficiently & hard. They used tarps to protect the house & slid old shingles down the tarp to make the cleaning easier. They did a very good job cleaning up the site. One complaint: they didn't tell me about the fact that my attic would be covered with dust. When I found this out, a couple guys went up there with a vacuum & cleaned it up. They did a pretty good job, but it was still a little dirty. Mike was very responsive every step of the way, despite this was right after Thanksgiving. Highly recommended.
