Description of Work: I had a small job - change a breaker and wire in a pigtail for a steam generator. Carmin and Billy came after the end of their regular workday and did the job quickly. They also pointed out another item that needs attention.

He and his team did great work and cleaned up afterwards. I was very happy with their work and now consider him my "new electrician"!

Description of Work: I had Carmine and his sons replace my bathroom fan and overhead light, front porch light, and all the outlets and light switches in my house. The time between contacting them and getting all of the work done was incredibly quick and they did great work despite several emergent challenges (the fan I bought for them to install was slightly too big for the space they needed to install it for example). |I was okay with the price which was a lower quote than another electrician I had contacted.

Description of Work: They came very promptly to give an estimate. I called and accepted the estimate, they said they did the schedule on sunday and would come the next week. That next thursday I called again and was told that they had had emergencies and would call me the next week. I still have not heard from them almost a month later.

Description of Work: We had a power outage due to improperly installed electrical outlets by the previous owner. I called Carmine in the morning on a Friday because the power went out in all of our bedrooms. He managed to squeeze me in at the end of day. All he asked is that promised I would wait for him, which was completely fair. He was on time if not early. He not only fixed he problem at hand, but realized that the problem was much bigger, and refused to not finish the job no matter how late it was because it might me a safety issue. After he found the problem outlet he fixed all the up stairs outlets, paying special attention to those in my infant's room. We will likely due the rest of the house and a few other projects with him. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: Would absolutely use this company again, their communication was excellent, even completed work on a holiday. All work was performed in a timely and collaborative manner. Great job, great people.

Description of Work: I called D'Ambrosio electric because there was no power on one wall of the kitchen. First he asked how old was the house. |As soon as I told him that it was over 100 yrs old (did not ask if electrical had been updated) he determined that I had old wiring that had to be replaced. It was Friday & he could only come to reset the breakers but he would return the following week to do the job. I responded that I needed the job to be done the same day & I would call him back if i could not get somebody else to do the job the same day. He responded "Hire me or not hire me, I will not be in the back burner" I responded "I will NOT hire you" and I hung up. The wiring had been updated, I knew that was not the problem. I also had made sure that all breakers were fine. Maybe he was just having a bad day, i just will not call him again.

Description of Work: I bought a coupon for services via Angie's List and did not realize it had expired. Months later, Carmine honored the coupon, and came to my house within two days to perform the work I needed. I would absolutely recommend him and use him again.

Description of Work: I called Carmine in June of 2012 to talk about his BIg Deal I had just bought from Angies List and what I wanted done (it was to install an outdoor electric plug) As this was slightly different than the Big Deal offered by Carmine (offer said an indoor plug), and because he lives in a neighboring town, he offered to swing by and take a look at what I wanted to do. He did come that same afternoon and explained why he couldn't do the outdoor plug as I wanted it. We talked one more time (on the phone) over the next 2 months about his doing something else at our house and he said he couldn't do that either. I then called him Thurs Aug 2, 2012, to see if he could replace a kitchen ceiling fan and he said yes, he would come by Saturday Aug 4, 2012. I called him around 8am that Saturday to see when he would be coming. He was pretty agitated as he said he had called me to set up a time for Saturday and I never returned his call. He couldn't tell me what number he called....and I never did receive a call from him. His day was all booked and he couldn't come over at all that Saturday. After some back and forth about rescheduling, he did agree to come to my house that same day (Sat Aug 4, 2012) between 1-2pm -after he was finished at another job-and he would install the fan. I called him around 3:30 to see if he was still coming and he said yes, he was running late. He came to our house at about 5:30, took a look at the fan I had bought and said it would hang too low in the kitchen (someone would get hurt). I told him I'd return the fan and reschedule with him. He said,"No, I've shown up today and that fulfills the Angie's List deal". (Keep in mind, he didn't do any work.) He told me "I've already lost money on this job" and to call Angie's List and get my $99.00 back and then Carmine walked away. Caveat Emptor P.S. Angie List..class act that they are...is refunding my $99.00.

Description of Work: I called Carmine to switch out some light fixtures and replace some outlets and light switches. He was courteous, punctual, and very pleasant. Gave me advice on a couple of items I had concerns about. I would use him again.

Description of Work: Installed New Light in a new location, Changed to 2 existing lights to new lights I purchased, changed battery to fire alarm( it was beeping for along time).

Description of Work: I bought the Big Deal of the day which was $99 for 2 hours of electrical work. After purchasing, my wife called and explained to a rep that we needed some minor things done to our house. Our Dining room light was no longer working, and we wanted a motion sensor installed, and to discuss motion sensors for the outside of our house. The rep said to email him exactly what we wanted done. Before we had a chance to do that, he sent an anonymous email on a Friday night at 7:30pm stating that he doesn't service our area. This was after we spoke with him and he asked where we lived! I responded to the email to see how to get a refund and he said, "You'll have to speak with Angie's List for that". No apology or explanation. When I called Angie's List for the refund, our town was in his listed area. Needless to say that he will never get my referral.

Description of Work: There were no services performed as the company said they could not handle my request due to overwhelming response to their coupon.

Description of Work: Carmine and Billy replaced all of our switches and outlets, most of which were not previously grounded. They also installed hard-wired smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, installed a whole house surge protector, and put in a new electrical box with new circuits (including cleaning up some bad wiring).

Description of Work: Install a ceiling fan, closet light and additional outlets in third floor bedroom. Hardwire and connect smoke and CO detectors on three floors of house.
