He did a very good job. He was very helpful. I can't say enough good things about them. He also recommended a carpenter that did a great job for us. He was very professional.

We have a particular kind of fan that we like. We told him we would buy everything needed and have him install it. Didn’t like the fan because it is harder to put in. Sent us a quote for a brand of fan we have used in the past that we had to remove. Told him we didn’t want the fan he was recommending. Since he only had two hours as part of the Big Deal. Offered to pay extra to compensate for extra hours. I got an email last night saying he could come over and put the fan in, said it would take 4 hours and 2 people to put in, so an additional $450 to have it put in. I have since found another electrician to put the fan in and he said it would be a 1 person job between 2.5 – 3 hours. His cost is way to high and he doesn’t have a good attitude when dealing with customers. He is very inflexible and hard to work with.

If there is one company that deserves A+ for service it is D'Ambrosio Electric. I purchased an Angies list coupon and called Carmin to discuss the job I needed done. Originally I wanted to have a ceiling fan in the bathroom replaced but he said that the job would take longer than two hours (he is probably right) so we discussed the other smaller jobs that I needed done. He called a few days later to follow up but I still had bot purchased the outdoor lamps to replace the old ones. Once I did that he immediately scheduled a time to come over. I called the day before the appointment because it was raining and asked if we should postpone the job but CArmin said that he could work in the rain. On Saturday morning the weather got worse so I called again and talk to Biil (CArmin's son) to see if he wanted to reschedule but he said he was fine working in this weather. Bill had to find parking for his van and still rang the bell at the EXACTt time. He came up and brought a cloth to cover the floor in front of the patio, a ladder and all his tools. He got right to work. He replaced one of the lamps checked that it works then replaced the other. The second one had a missing piece - a bracket to hold the fixture (Thank you Home depot!!) but thankfully Bill went back to his truck (in the rain) and found something that would work. . After the fixture was installed the light did not come on. He checked the bulb, then the fixture then the voltage and then found that the problem was a timer for the light. He replaced it with a regular switch ( which he got from the van -More rain) and everything worked properly. Since there was some time left he came to the basement to show me how to set up the time on a timer for the front door light and checked another timer. He did not charge for the switch or the bracket and never complained about working in the rain or having to park some ways from the house. In short Bill was extremely professional, efficient, honest, and very skilled at what he does. I will definitely use his services when it is time to replace the ceiling fan.

The last electrician I used was OK, but not great. I decided to try out this electrician with a coupon from Angie's List. I am very happy I did so. While this was not an extremely complicated job, I am very impressed with his promptness, courtesy, and work habits. In addition to the work he did, he gave me some practical advice concerning a few other projects I am contemplating. I would definitely use him again, and have already passed his name on to a friend.

Carmine D'Ambrosio called me back within one hour of the first contact. We arranged a date for the service. He told me that he would confirm the arrival time by phone the day before. He kept his promise and called the day before with a plan to complete all the work on time and I was first in the day so that he could complete the work. He and a second electrician arrived on time and they worked diligently at all the tasks. The first job was the most important, the hallway light. The problem was quickly located and the old bulb was back and light in the recessed light within 20 minutes of their arrival. They were very thorough, made the changes desired and checked the work all within the two hours (four in total, using 2 electricians for two hours each). They both were knowledgeable, helpful, polite, and excellent in their work and professionalism. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROVIDER. AND THEY WILL TRAVEL FOR THE WORK TOO, SO DO GIVE THEM A CALL. (Having said all this, I had purchased two coupons from Angie's List for this work and I did not feel that I was unimportant because I had a coupon!)

Work was neatly done. It took some time to connect as the vendor could not find my big deal paper work, but we did finally connect after I sent him the e-mail from Angie's list. After that we scheduled an appointment, and service was done promptly

Got a live person on the phone when I called. Service date was about a week after the call. Quite prompt, compared to the usual waits. Workman was very efficient and professional. The work was done well. Very happy with the service.

Carmine and Bill are friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Our house is over 100 years old and we were nervous about how much it would cost, the mess, and how long it would take. We were thrilled with the reasonable estimate, the minimal mess, and the rapid pace of the project. Plus our lighting looks so much better and we are safer as well. I left a message for Carmine on a Monday, he called to schedule an appointment the next day. Two days later he came over and walked through the house with me, offering advice and suggestions. Since we didn't know anything about lighting I found him very helpful and easy to work with. He has an extremely pleasant manner. He and his son came the following week and began by installing the new service in the basement. They worked steadily for three days, sweeping and cleaning up thoroughly each time. At that point two of our lights hadn't come in yet so they said to call when they arrived. The following Friday the lights arrived. Carmine actually called that day to see if they were in and offered to pick them up for me, saving me a trip to Wolfer's in Brighton! They installed them that day. We then decided we wanted to add two more recessed lights to the kitchen. I knew they were busy and had moved onto other jobs but the next week Bill came back and installed them. We are very happy with the service, the lighting, and the process. We highly recommend D'Ambrosio electricians!

After purchasing a $99 coupon for 2 hours of work, I contacted Mr. D'Ambrosio and described the work to be performed. This was followed up by me with an e-mail including photos to further describe the work. His response was excellent in setting up a time to do the work, but when he arrived, he was more than an hour late without any excuses. Although his work was good, he was not completely prepared. I actually had to drive to the electrical supply store to pick up needed parts. In spite of the fact that he was personable and friendly, I believe that I could have had the same work done faster and much cheaper by an electrician who has done work for me in the past.

Very professsional, efficient, courteous, kind, thorough. I am not just pleased with the work done, I am impressed with both the work and the young individual who did it. My appointment was on a winter Friday night because of my work schedule. I had purchased the fixed price Angies List offering for 2 hours of electrical work. It was dark and sleeting out so I offered to reschedule but he showed up on time. He was well prepared for the weather and the work. Did the outside work first, efficiently and with no mess or complaint. Then proceeding to do the large amount of indoor work efficiently and with nice quality in the short time using his tools, spackle and caulk to make sure I had a thorough solution. I was not only pleased, i was impressed and would definitely call him again, confident that the work would be well done and reasonably priced.

We knew our job would go over the $99 deal, and we found the price Carmine gave us in the end to be fair. He and his assistant were diligent, professional and very nice. They worked on a Saturday to do our job in a timely fashion. We live in Wellesley and traveling from No. Reading was not a problem. If we need work done in the future, we will call them.

They showed up two days after I emailed them that the parts have arrived.

As mentioned above, the gentleman arrived on time, cleaned up after the work was done, and I couldn't be happier.

We did the $99 deal with this company and were very happy with their service. We had 2 outlets installed (where there were none) and had a thermostat relocated from inside a bedroom to just outside the rloom in hallway. Carmine was very professional, personable and he was very courteous with tracking in dirt from outside as he put on shoe covers. We've had several contractors in to do work and no one has ever put shoe covers on. He is giving us estimates on future work that we are thinking of having done. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.

I purchased a Big Deal for 2 hours of electrical work by D?Ambrosio Electric, Inc. of North Reading, MA. Carmine called my husband and said he would be over later in the day. We had decided we needed a switch for a light fixture and an outlet installed in our living room. Our house is 70 years old. We also wanted another dedicated outlet in my office for a heater, but were not sure that would be enough time to get both things done. Carmine showed up and analyzed the work with my husband. Since they determined the switch and the light switch would take too long, he chose to have the dedicated outlet installed instead. He got right to work on that and did a great job. Carmine wasn?t quite satisfied with something he saw around the outlet, so he got a little spackle and evened things out. It looks perfect, like it was there from day one. Everything was cleaned up and he was very professional. My husband and I are very pleased with the Big Deal and with Carmine in particular. If we decide to do the original work, we will have him come back because he has experience in older homes and that is what we need.

Carmine arrived early. I took advantage of the 99 dollar offer. He managed to take a potentially complicated job and was able to satisfactorily resolve it in the approx. two hour window of time.

Mr. D'Ambrosio is an experienced electrcian and has also worked on older houses. This was a real plus for me as I was moving around some older fixtures which may be original to the house back to their original places. He comes equiped with a box of goodies, so to speak, that are needed when dealing with an older house such as mine. Be sure to tell him the specific of your needs so he can come prepared and give you a realistic price.

It went very well. Mr D'Ambrosio returned my phone call, we set up a plan and the work was completed all within a week of my purchasing the "deal". He also accepted a call from me while I was in the aisle of Home Depot so he was able to advise me on the correct fixture to buy.
