I had listed the dates when I would like the service to be done on the Angie's list form. The provider didn't contact me for more than a week and even then only after I contacted Angie's list to ask them to please have this company contact me. When they did contact me and I spoke in person with the man doing scheduling, they said they couldn't come until many weeks later (-- I think they were booking about 6-8 weeks out). They said they worked commercial jobs mainly but had a few days a month when they did residential jobs so that's part of why the work couldn't be scheduled for many weeks. When I asked if I could speak with the owner of company about scheduling, I was told no. They wouldn't tell me who the owner of the company was and they said if I left my number he wouldn't call me. That was true. I left my number and he never called. I got a refund from Angie's list for both the deals through this company.

They came out quickly to inspect the A/C unit and determine what needed to be fixed. They quoted a price for labor and parts and we figured out a date/time for them to come back and fix it. The guy that came was the same one that quoted the price, he was very nice and went quickly to working on it. He finished faster than anticipated and the price came in cheaper than the quote! The A/C now works great.

The service went on very well, they were very professional and I would use this provider again in the future.

Overall I was happy with the job done. They cancelled my first appointment on the day of due to unexpected emergency calls, but it was promptly rescheduled. They arrived early and got the job done within an hour. The two gentlemen who came were very nice and informative. I'm happy to report that my A/C has been running more efficiently ever since the tune up!

Tech was on-time to give estimate. Only visited basement to look at boiler, did not look at anything else in house to perform estimate. Also told us we should replace working water heater at same time (is much newer than boiler, and has no issues). Visit lasted no more than 20 minutes. Gave a rough verbal estimate of cost, and said he would email the detailed estimate in a few days. We never received email. We selected another provider.

They came promptly when my heat was not working and figured out the problem and fixed it. They also found errors made in the previous installation and rectified them. I found the service professionals they sent to be extremely competent, personable and effective.

The technician arrived to perform service around 11am, he left around 2pm. When arrived he performed the work he was suppose to do, however I believe the technician and the owner did not have a clear understanding with the service charges. When purchased the deal, within the fine print there is nothing stating additional charges apply after 1.5 hours of service. I was charged an additional $194.00 stating it took an extra 2 hours and they had to charge for the service. I was duplicate charge for the service and that is not accurate!

In late November I set up an appt for January, for a day that I was planning to be off of work (like some other companies they were unable to accommodate my request for a late afternoon appt, and due to a grueling work schedule it's very difficult for me to schedule any other time). A half hour prior to the appt time they called to say there were emergencies they needed to tend to (it was extremely cold that week) and they couldn't make it that day at all, so we rescheduled for a couple of weeks into the future. I was told they'd be there between 8:30-9am. The gentleman arrived about 9:15 and spent a good amount of time inspecting and cleaning the furnace/vents and ensuring everything was working as it should. He was very polite and professional and I would use this service again.

It went ok. They overcharged my by $10 but I wasn’t concerned about it. They were also very confused about how Angie’s List deals worked, which made the experience a little uneasy.

The problem started last evening when I noticed it getting quite warm (78 degrees) in the house. even though the A/C was on and set for 72. I called this morning at 7:30, the phone was answered my a cordial, polite gentleman, and I was told I would receive a call-back within 45 minutes, which happened just as promised. I was asked if 1 o'clock was convenient for me, and slightly after 1 PM a clean, professional looking KC Mechanical service van arrived with 2 pleasant, friendly technicians ready to attack my cranky A/C unit. They checked everything, including crawling through the length of my 100 plus degree attic, to check the unit fan. After inspecting every part of the system that could have a problem, the final diagnosis was a leak at the compressor which totally drained the freon refrigerant from the unit. One hour, one leaky gasket and re-charging the freon cured the problem. Although I was expecting a bill for $300 or so, I was pleasantly surprised with a charge of 1/2 that. I will be calling them again when the weather is a bit cooler, to have a new state-of-the-art thermostat installed! Thank you KC Mechanical! Great job!

The service provider was knowledgeable, polite, and patient to answer all our questions. I would definitely recommend them for A/C services.

Nathan (I hope I got that right), very professional and polite, checked the burner and found the spark was not hot enough. Replaced the part, and we were back in business. It's great to see the detail work done by a technician, so many just do minimum, thanks for the service.
