+ -1 moreNick and his crew did an amazing job. They showed up early and put in a full days work. They were professional, skilled, efficient, fast and fairly priced. They took down 35 trees many of which were close to dwellings and fences and cleared. Thanks for giving us a beautiful back yard!
Description of Work: Several very large trees 90+ft needed to be removed around the house with a crane and he clear cut a 25’ wide section of all trees around my property including stump grinding and cleaned up all the brush.

+ -1 moreTHEY DID THE JOB VERY WELL, CLEAN THEIR MESS UP. HE DID THE JOB RIGHT AWAY. EVERYTIME I CALLED HIM HE GOT BACK TO ME VERY QUICKLY USALLY WITHIN A COUPLE HOURS. I WOULD USE HIM AGAIN NO PROBLEM.
Description of Work: NICK AND HIS CREW REMOVED A LARGE TREE AN GRIND THE STUMP, CLEAN EVERYTHING AND PUT DOWN SOME TOP SOIL. HE ALSO REMOVED A OLD SHED FOR ME TO MAKE ROOM FOR MY NEW ONE.

+ 0 moreNick was helpful right from the start by patiently explaining options for our fire pit and surrounding landscaping. He is very knowledgeable and resourceful. He promised the tree removal and clean up and was prompt, professional and reasonably priced. His crew arrived as promised and worked hard over three days. A minor mishap was handled and repaired without question. I intend to hire Nick for more work and ongoing projects. He is a responsible and hard working individual and I highly recommend him and his tree service .
Description of Work: Removed large dead tree Removed brush and limbs around the property that were overgrown Leveled, mulched and seeded an area for new landscaping and assembled a fire pit.

+ -1 moreHe came a month after he promised to be there. He said when he gave us his estimate that it would be done within the week. Then the tornadoes hit our town and he was tied up with others for over 2 months. We finally complained and he came and did the work in less than 3 hours.
Description of Work: The large maple tree that had to come down was in the middle of a landscaped area of rhododendrons, azalea, pachysandra, hydrangea, etc. and he just made one cut at the bottom of a 50-60 maple tree and dropped it in the middle of the landscaped area and it was out in the road because it was so tall.. they tore up the Rhodos that were over 30 years old and killed off many of them. I had had him once before and he left his crew here to do the work and they failed to take down the one tree I called them to take down He was very upset when I called him back to finish the job and dropped a very large Purple River Beech tree on our lawn leaving a long indented area and did not bother to fill and seed the area. My friend who shares the house with me decided to use him again. I was not in favor, but she was paying so..................

+ -1 moreThey made an appointment to remove the tree. I tried toconfirm the appointment twice prior to the scheduled date. They did not return my call. They said they would also send proof of their certificate of insurance. I never received the certificate. I had taken the time to seek out a tree removal permit and had it sent to them. I called a day prior to the scheduled date and they did not return my call. They called 8 days after the scheduled date to say they got busy and had only just received the permit. I happened to have scheduled my vacation to be away during that time but adjusted the departure date to accomodate their scheduled date. Just a return phone call to reschedule would have been sufficient. Very unprofessional.

+ -1 moreThey came and did the work without notice, cut down trees that were not to be cut down, bashed the bark of many others. Trees felled on a water logged leech field, creating trenches in same. Logs were up to 14" wide, 23" long, not stacked, with the smaller branches widely scattered. When we phoned to remonstrate, they were sullen, unwilling to make any changes. They were non-plussed when we said we wouldn't pay them the $500due (quote was for $1500) Thoroughly unsatisfactory!
Description of Work: Initial review fine, work outlined removal of 7 trees, cut and split to 16" max. They contracted to call so that we could be present when the work was done.
