He came in the house and really paid attention to the specialty items that needed to be taken care of. They also offered suggestions.

The four movers were so polite, responsive, thorough, and fast. The move went quickly in a very organized manner. This is the best move I have experienced. From the time the estimate was done in my home to the last item delivered in my new place, i have no complaints. This company conducts business with the utmost professionalism. Bert Hill Movers was great. From packing to delivery, they went above and beyond the call of duty. They couldn't get all of my stuff on one truck so they were going to have to bring the rest of my stuff down in a month or two when they come this way again. But, at the last minute they unpacked some other person's truck going to Florida and then repacked it to add the balance of my household contents. I was so thrilled to see both trucks arrive on the day expected, at the exact time committed. When their temps they hired to unload us here didn't show up, except for one elderly gent who could not do much, both Bert Hill drivers unloaded, along with us two homeowners helping. Some moving companies would have said "no, I'm just the driver, we'll come back tomorrow and try to unload when workers show up" (and we were frantic that we'd have no household contents for Day 6), but back and forth we all went all day to get these trucks unloaded and the second truck on its way to Florida. Bert Hill Movers of Westfield MA went above and beyond and pitched in to get the job done. Our load turned out to be overweight and they didn't charge us for the extra pounds. They held their quote for me, which was very very good. We'd use them again in a heartbeat.

From the beginning when Ken, the owner, personally came to give us an estimate & to determine that their tractor-trailer would be able to negotiate our driveway, to the end when all the crew personally shook our hand and thanked us for the opportunity to move us, the move with Bert Hill was the best of the 9 moves we have made. We did our own packing. Nothing was broken, scratched, dented or otherwise damaged in the moving process. They used pads or shrink wrap on all the furniture. When the move was completed, they walked around our new home with us to make sure that everything was in the proper location. The crew was courteous, hard-working & knowledgeable about the moving process. All in all, a very pleasant group to work with. We were aware of the care they showed in treating our possessions as though they were their own. We were given a call before the delivery of the exact amount that would be due. It was very close to the estimate that was given. The move happened right on the schedule that was planned at the time of the estimate. Again, we were extremely impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail that was exhibited by this firm. We would use Bert Hill Movers again without hesitation.

Bert Hill was very professional from start to finish. Shortly after calling they came out and provided us with an estimate. For our first move we shopped around and found Bert Hill's pricing to be in the range of the other estimates we received. From the start we had a high level of confidence in Bert Hill. For the next two moves we didn't bother getting additional estimates because we had been so happy with the first move with Bert Hill. When the move crew arrived at the house the Foreman introduced himself along with each of the movers. For each move the crew consisted of one Foreman and 3 movers - these were very very hard working men! We felt 100% comfortable with having the crew in our home and moving are possessions. The crew put down drop cloths and runners to protect the floors, covered staircase railings and posts to make sure the house did not get damaged. Three of the homes were historic homes with a lot of wood work that would not be easy or even possible to replace so the extra steps were appreciated. Very few moves go without any mishaps - it comes down to minimizing the mishaps and making sure they are dealt with in a efficient and professional manner. What were our mishaps - 1) I poorly packed an inexpensive clock, didn't mark it fragile so the glass front popped out. I took full responsibility for this and the glass popped back in so no harm down; 2) While moving the Grand Piano down a twisting flight of stairs the piano hit the wall and made a 5"x5"hole in the wall. The crew got the piano safely down the rest of the stairs - no damage was done to piano since it had been wrapped so carefully. Immediately the Foreman called the office and the owner asked to speak with me. The owner assured me that the hole would be fixed in time for our closing the next day. While the rest of the move was being finished someone came out and patched the drywall and let it start drying. The owner came back in the very early hours the next day to paint the spot. As promised it was fixed in time and looked as if nothing had ever happened. Bert Hill is a great company!

They were fantastic. They were responsive and on time. They had many recommendation that helped save me money. They were very clean approach to there work. The guys that came out managed his workers well. They were also very effiecent. Strongly recommend
