First bath included walk in shower, tile, niches, flooring and glass wall and door.. First problem: While being tiled, the installer (Kennedy's Tile - subcontractor to this company), put 4 identical tiles together on one wall. The tiles were a mix of colors from tan to gray. All the other tiles were spread out but these four identical ones made a strange look. I couldn't talk to the tiler since he only spoke Portugese. Eventually we got a message to him and he pulled off two tiles and replaced them with other colors. Second Problem: Several months after the installation was complete we had a leak that dripped into our kitchen ceiling. After much back and forth and large portions of our celing being removed, we finally pinpointed the problem to the tile on the floor of the shower. They came in and ripped it out only to discover that they had never installed the Kerdi barrier on the floor under the tile! It was just tile over the subflooring. They explained that sometimes they use Kerdi on the floor and other times they use mud but they must have 'gotten confused' and never applied the barrier. Again - these are non english speaking workers. They removed the tile, installed the system correctly and replaced the tile - all at no cost to us. Third Problem: they used the wrong grout when repairing the tile. We had two bathrooms done and they used the grout from the other bath despite my husband telling them it was the wrong color! After many calls and much aggravation they fixed this too. They also paid for the replastering and painting of our celing in the kitchen. While they corrected all the problems they created, they are clearly not competant. They claim that this has never happened before. They never apologized. They simply fixed it and left. I would not use them again nor reccomend them for any work.

Installation went well. The installers were prompt and professional, however, there was a language problem with some members of the crew (poor english skills) including one of the supervisors. There was / is an issue with the back splash material but that is a mfg issue and not a result of installation. Kate at RWAV is working with the vendor and ourselves to resolve the issue. Kate is responsive and a wonderful resource. She is aware of the latest in materials and what is coming in the future and prompt with communication.
