I purchased the materials and watched them work, which I was not impressed with. There are parts where they did not caulk the gutters, leaving gaps. Other areas they put too much sealant, leaving unsightly globs of caulk. There are visible brackets that hold the system. All major seams and corners leak. There is poor drainage throughout. There are places where the water runs right over the gutter and off the roof, rather than into the system. I am concerned about ice damming. I have called them many times regarding this issue. They missed their most recent appointment. I have been told all the accounts form this office have been forwarded to the corporate office. I am trying to be understanding of the foreseeable miscommunication that switching jobs can cause, however they have been missing appointments, and they have been slow to return calls. Today they have missed a third appointment. I feel like I am being led along, despite their many assurances they will finish.
Description of Work: I had them out is August to put a cover system on our gutters that would keep leaves and pine needles out of the gutter. I got quotes from 4 companies. Their salesperson stated they had a special bracket system that would hold the system in place, that all installers were factory trained and that he would be the person to contact if there were any problems. He also offered to make me a club member which would offer me special discounts on the work. He did not tell us we would need to buy the materials for any rotting fascia board, rather that they would charge $5 per sq ft. When they came out for the work, they missed the first appointment despite having cashed the initial deposit check. The salesperson rescheduled. They crew finally arrived. They proceeded to apply the system to my home. We were told we were given some new gutter. We went over the plan and they began. As they started removing the gutter they did find some wood rot, I informed them we had already discussed.
