The "Go-To" hardwood floor artisans on Cape Cod. I've hired Happy Floors twice to restore/refinish hardwood floors in two older homes on Cape Cod. Where other flooring companies are either unresponsive or uninterested in restoring older floors, Happy Floors more than rises to the occasion. Their European artisans restored the 80 year old fir floors in my home to gleaming conditions - floors that other flooring companies told me were too time consuming to salvage - all within a price that was lower than most other quotes. They also added new flooring that complimented the old to other sections of the house getting an almost perfect match. Their service team is polite and professional, hands-on, and responsive - a true breath of fresh air given the normally lackluster service you find on Cape Cod. As an experienced renovator, I give them my absolute highest recommendation!

ALEX AND HIS CREW ARRIVED ON TIME AND DID A MAGNIFICENT JOB. EVERYONE THAT COMES INTO MY HOUSE THINKS I INSTALLED NEW FLOORS. I HAVE SINCE REFERRED HAPPY FLOORS TO THREE FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS AND EVERYONE IS VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK.

We called 3 flooring companies to come in and measure the floors in our newly purchased home to provide estimates. They came, they measured, and then did not respond - one never provided an estimate or returned calls, one was late responding to a followup email, then late again with the estimate after promising it on a certain date, and the third decided that they were too busy to accommodate our schedule, but only after we emailed them a week after the measuring. Apparently this behavior is not uncommon on Cape Cod. Then we found Happy Floors on Angie's List. They came the day after we called, provided an estimate two days later and gave us a schedule that met our needs, even though our deadline was difficult due to the delay caused by the lack of earlier responses. But Happy Floors delivered. They started the day they promised, finished the project in five days, as promised, and did a fantastic job. They were professional, quick, courteous, knowledgeable, and left the place spotless. No surprises, no hassles. The floors look fantastic. We have already recommended Happy Floors to friends and are happy to recommend them to all.

We were moving to Cape Cod from Pennsylvania and wanted the wood floors refinished in the newly-purchased house before we moved in. As pre-arranged, we called Happy Floors as we were walking out of the real estate closing so their team could begin immediately. Our furniture would be arriving five days later, so we could not waste any time. The weather was not working in our favor because of higher than usual humidity, therefore the floors were not drying enough for the third coat of polyurethane to be applied. The president of the company worked on a Sunday to get the third coat applied so our furniture could be delivered on Tuesday. The floors dried in time for our furniture to be delivered, and Happy Floors even returned to repair a big scratch the movers had made at no cost to us. We could not have asked for better service, and the floors are gorgeous!

Alex came to my house to look t the job, give me an estimate and explain the process. He knew we were in a rush and scheduled his crew that week. Everything went really well. Honest and trustworthy company. Nice too!

The job went without a hitch. From the estimator to the workers, everyone was punctual, very polite, and thorough. The owner arrived with his crew to oversee the movement of furniture and the start of the job. When they were done, he came back with his workers to inspect the results and ensure all was well. Highly recommend as a professional and pleasant team.

It went extremely well. The work was done quickly and well. When we noticed a doorstop was missing, they returned immediately and replaced it. They have cordially responded to questions about floor care. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

THOROUGHLY OUTSTANDING! In an area where contractors can be hit-or-miss, Happy Floors stands above the rest. I called four Cape Cod flooring companies to look at, what I though was, a good sized job (1300 sqft of new and refinished hardwood floors in Falmouth). Two companies never returned my calls and one promised to come by for an estimate and never showed. Happy Floors responded to my inquiry within 24 hours and presented several notional flooring proposals after listening to the details of my needs. When Alex visited the job site he was polite, professional and came up with several options to work around difficult problems matching old floors to new. Michelle in the front office worked hard to produce samples to match the old fir floors in our house and then mixed several different stain variations to suit our needs. On the day scheduled for the work, the crew was on time with the proper tools and materials and worked with a quiet efficiency. Since I could not be on-site for the entire job, the crew was diligent about entering/leaving/locking my home and Alex was conscientious enough to send me photos of each day's progress. As an experienced renovator, I was thrilled with the ease of dealing with Happy Floors (even remotely). Everything was on-time, on-budget, professional and, more importantly, the work is stunning and will certainly add value to my property.

The sanding was good, but the mess was bad. I am allergic to dust and they told me they could use a dust free machine and then when they came to my house to do the actual work, they said they couldnt use it because of my base boards-which they saw when they came the first time to give me a quote, The machine they did use left a lot of dust. They did a very good job but if your looking for a cleaner outcome I would use a different company.

Troubles were numerous. All I can say is it was a disaster.

Alex and Sergey did a super job with our flooring project. Sergey was very patient and accommodating as we picked out the stain for the floor. He took the time to prepare a floor board with several stain samples for us to consider. Alex was very conscientious about providing us with a finished product we are very happy with. Happy Floors was responsive to every inquiry and concern we had; they were prompt coming when they said they would and we are very pleased with the result. We would recommend them without reservation.

Really great. I hired someone else prior to engaging Happy Floors. The first experience was horrible. Happy Floors came in and fixed the other guy's mess AND refinished the floors to perfection. They moved out my furniture and moved everything back in. Laundry room floor was another huge project as the old tile grout cracked and the tile was loose. I didn't know if it was a sub-floor problem or what. They came in and gave me quotes, allowing for contingencies. They arrived on time. They finished on time. Sergey was delightful and pleasant, even through this very emotional project. I was a bit nervous going in as I didn't want to hire another company and have anything go wrong. They delivered exactly what was promised and exceeded all my expectations. Thank you Alex & Sergey & your team of great professionals.

I could not have been happier with the results of working with Happy Floors. We purchsed this home as a vacation/seasonal rental property. It had various flooring - carpet and vynal which we wanted to replace with hardwood. Because we don't live there, I knew it would be challenging to work with service providers since we were only there on weekends. We worked with Sergey on all of the details of the job. He and Alex came to the house multiple times to discuss the job and answer our questions. I changed my mind a million times about the stain and Sergey was always super flexible. He worked up several samples which helped us make a final decision on a custom blended stain. The results are magazine worthy. They rebuilt the subfloor of the kitchen (which had vynal and was a bit lower than the adjacent living room). The result was that the floor flows seamlessly throughout the space. We've worked with a few other flooring companies at our primary home and the experience with Happy Floors far exceeded anyone else we've worked with. If you have a flooring project on the Cape, please give them a call.

They stained and buffed all the wood floors in our 7-room inn. | |They did what they said they would do, on-time and on price. The work did not smell and looks fantastic.

The fellows were hardworking;came early and stayed late. They were friendly and responsive to wishes. They answered my calls and emails promptly. I will use them again for my next project.

The floors look terrific, like brand new rooms. Alex and his team were professional, responsive, fair, prompt and exceptionally clean. They even repaired a part of the flooring without any extra charge. We are looking forward to working with them in the near future as we install hardwood flooring throughout the living room and kitchen. Overall ? great to work with ? great experience all around.

Happy, happy, joy, joy! Happy Floors refinished our hardwood floors and installed our bathroom tile, and did a great job. Initially, they worked us into their schedule as a last-minute request by us during the busy month of May. They started with an inspection of our floors, and pointed out spots where flooring may need to be replaced. We agreed that they would try to refinish the "tough spots," and would only replace boards as a last resort. We were out of state while the work was happening, so when they got to an area that was too damaged and not finishing well, they sent us photos so we could make the choice of whether to replace wood. None of the "patches"are visible to us. They also worked around our schedule with some unexpected repairs in the bathroom, and finished on time. They are nice people to work with.

Fabulous results! From start to finish, Alex was professional: Returned calls immediately, showed up when he said he would, finished the job on time.
