Shawn McWilliams Electrician

Shawn arrived when he said he would, and went right to work. He finished the kitchen lights and the hallway sconce the first day, and came back to finish the outside light and outlet the next day. He cleaned up after himself, and was very pleasant to speak with. He works alone, and is very organized. He does not take credit cards.

Shawn rescued me from not having power, heat, water, etc. after everything was torn off my house during the blizzard of 2013.He came as soon as he could to assess the damage. He returned, as scheduled, the next morning with everything he needed to do the job. In addition to doing the technical work, he worked with the town of Plymouth wire inspector, and with NSTAR so that once his part of the work was done, they could come and I would have power as soon as possible. He even shoveled to make the area he needed to work in big enough and never said a word about it. The final charge was less than the original estimate. He also gave me advice and answered a lot of questions about generators and generator kits. I look forward to having him come back to do that work. He even offered to give me his opinion of the generators I consider getting if I email him the information, and to help show me how it works. I am glad to have an electrician who I can trust and who is so willing to help. I would recommend him to anyone. I met him originally, when a great contractor, Kevin Otts, recommended him when I wanted to have recessed lights and several other small jobs done. He came as expected and all his work was perfect. He is always professional, on time, and each job has been reasonably priced.

Did a very small job just fine. Then quoted on a much larger set of tasks and agreed to start on a particular date. He called 20 minutes after he was to start, to reschedule. On the rescheduled date, never showed and never called. Never heard from him again, despite our calls.

We had a wonderful experience with Shawn. When he came over to look at the job, he was pleasant and professional. The day of the scheduled work, he was on time, and completed his work quickly. He called and had the new service inspected the next day. All and all it was an easy and great experience.

Shawn was there on time on the day of our appointment. He explained everything to me, and then asked if I had any questions about what we had just gone over. He was very professional and completed the job quickly and with no mess. This was added for a customer with no computer. Linda Lyons
