 + 7 moreBecause the property is on the water and had restrictions as too how we could proceed, Parkwood builders( Brett and Andy) were very knowlegable of the FEMA restrictions along with all building codes. They were of great importance in helping us get our project started. All of the work was done in a systematic manner and they kept us updated at all times as to were they were in the project. In addition, they were very honest and always kept the site neat. Overall I have to say their work is solid and they use quality materials. They take pride in their work and take it seriously. Because this project took many twists and turns, the contract did not reflect the actual work that was done. this may be a problem to some however, in the end it worked out very well for us and we are estatic at the overall results. I would hire them again for sure.
Description of Work: We had bought a cottage on the water that needed total rehab. The building was totally gutted and the exterior including the roof stripped. It was completly redesigned to include raising the ceiling, new support beam, framing,rehabing the attic, all new windows, roof,siding, front stairs,floor, interior stairs,interior walls,woodwork,doors,kitchen,bathroom, electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling,water heater. In addition, a new retaining wall and deck was put on.
