Matt installed kitchen drawers, a lazy Susan, upper cabinet dividers and closet hardware that only had 1/4 of an inch wiggle room - I would hire Matt in a heartbeat if we had more projects.

We had water damage in the kitchen as a result of a punctured pipe. Matt replaced all the sheet rock and trim molding. He also replaced a window, built a small deck and made several other repairs to our house. There are too many here to mention. Matt did an amazing job. Communication and price were great. Matthew replaced an old storm door and installed a vinyl replacemnet window in my bathroom. He recommended the particular door for me and I love it!! We hired Matt to install a mirror in our bathroom. He was prompt, very professional and provided high quality work. We got talking about a pending snow storm and he told me that he knew of someone who could plow for us. He called me back with the name after contacting the person himself. Very Impressive. Ithought the $150 was a little steep for the work that needed to be done.

We hired Matt to install a front door and storm door on our mobile home. The project included having to make the door opening larger since we chose a larger replacement door. Matt was very professional throughout the entire process. He was a pleasure to work with. He was on time, completed the project as promised and even came back the next day to answer a question that I had. We are already beginning the process on another job.

We hired Matt to wash and stain/seal our deck, and powerwash and seal a concrete patio. Matt was very professional. He communicated regularly through the process, which our HOA made a little more difficult with uncertainty of the stain we needed to use. Matt kept his cool throughout the process, and went overboard to try to ensure the results would be satisfactory to me and HOA. He answered every email within 24 hours (if not sooner), and did everything I asked him to do. The deck looks great, as does the concrete patio, and we couldn't be happier. Thanks Matt

Punctuality and knowledge of workmanship

Matt was very professional and came immediately to review the work and provide an estimate. The project got delayed when I changed the scope a little and had to review what I could afford to have done. I explained to Matt the budget I was working with and he came under budget. His crew was very polite, efficient and I loved that they cleaned up completely. I am already looking at an additional project or two that need to be completed as I hope to work with him again.

Mr. Pelletier misled us when he told us that he would handle obtaining the building permit for our deck. We eventually found out that he never did apply for a permit. After lying to us about the status of the permit several times he eventually admitted that he never pulled the permit or had any of the work inspected. We also found out that he is not actually qualified to pull a permit or build a deck, he does not have the proper licensing in MA to do this (he eventually admitted that this was also true). This was one of the reason we went with him in the first place because the other contractor we got an estimate from told us right up front that if we wanted a permit pulled we would have to do it ourselves. I wish Mr. Pelletier had been that honest. He stood in our from t lawn and told us "no problem, I will take care of all of that" He also did not use the materials that we told him we wanted for the actual decking material. There are several issues with the craftsmanship as well. When the deck was built, one deck plank was going to interfere with the downspout so instead of notching the planking around the downspout they removed the bracket on the downspout and pushed it out of the way and re-attached, now that downspout is crooked. The stair treads are uneven. The top tread is almost 2" lower than all the others. The top of the stair platform is not level, this is visible when you look at the railing and confirmed with a long level. One of the support posts for the stair platform is crooked. Many of the posts for the railing were very wobbly (he did manage to firm up a couple of them). The post that secures the stair rail is still wobbly as is the entire rail. There are dings in the railings where they cut them, which wouldn't be an issue if they had used the correct hardware to secure the rails to the posts because that hardware would have hidden these dings. Instead they bought some cheap L brackets and spray painted them (that should look great in a year or two). Many screws on these brackets were missing (he did correct most of that although a few are still missing).He also built a new front step for us with side rails, the rails are not square to the step and there are extra screw holes in the top of one rail where they clearly made a mistake in drilling and just left it. He did offer to put collars on both bottom rails to cover these holes (instead of fixing it correctly by installing a new bottom rail) which we initially agreed to, however before he could do that, we discovered that he had misled us about the permitting issue and the deck material and we demanded that he not return to our property. In discussing these issues with him we were told that "some people are never happy". Unfortunately he does come across as trustworthy and was very polite and we paid him in full before doing a careful inspection. That was our mistake and we won't make it again. Polite doesn't equal integrity. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Good work crew. Arrive on time. Work crew come dressed appropriately for the job. No time wasting. They get right to work and stay working. I was always kept informed. They all listen politely and answer all questions or find out the answer, quickly. They keep their working area picked up and safe. They never assumed what I wanted. They cared about doing it right. Anyone hiring them will be very pleased. They also care very much on how their work looks. I really liked that and they added a nice little flair to the posts which looked very good. Matt was very polite and did quality work. He also was willing to work around my schedule. After he finished repairing my door he left the house nice and clean. I appreciate that he was willing to do a smaller job and would hire him in the future for a larger job.
