This is the second time we’ve used Superior Chimney Sweep. The first time they cleaned our chimney and also replaced the lining in our furnace chimney. Fair prices all around and a great service experience. Extremely personable, professional. We’ll definitely be regular customers.

Simple. They offered to install a chimney cap, but it ended up not to be necessary because I am planning on installing an insert. They were nice and flexible.

Brandon was excellent. He clearly explained what he was going to do, answered my questions, and showed me pictures of everything that I wasn't able to see. He has a lot of experience and knows what he's doing. He left everything clean and I feel more confident about my chimney after the visit.

I was away when the work took place, though my contractor was there to let them in. Everything when I returned looked perfect- no interior or exterior mess to worry about. I was also provided with a checklist of what work was done and what recommendations they had for me. This list was very informative, but I had some additional questions. I called back to speak to Don, who had done the work, and he promptly returned my call. I ended up speaking to him for about half an hour about how my flues were configured and we discussed how doing new flue inserts would be a way of making sure that fumes did not penetrate the old brick and enter the home. When I finally inquired about what the cost would be to do that work, he told me that they don't actually do that! He had spent all that time with me just to be helpful. I really appreciated the quality of the work and the care that they took to help their customers. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing their chimney's cleaned.

I scheduled them to come clean the chimney for our wood stove; which we now suspect had not been cleaned since it's installation. Dan was prompt, arriving at 9 on the dot. He was courteous, friendly and patient with questions. He cleaned the wood stove, told us a few things to keep an eye on and explained his recommendations with a great deal of patience and not a trace of condescension. He then asked if I wanted him to take a look at the furnace chimney and he did. It too needed to be cleaned out, so he stayed and did that as well. There was no mess at all, and the buckets of soot that he took out from both chimneys certainly made that a challenge. He left us with a comprehensive assessment of things that need attention. I impressed when I called and got a real person, instead of having to leave a message. I was happily surprised they called the day before to remind me of the appointment. Overall the type of service you wish could get from every home improvement contractor, and contact information I will be saving for next time!

Superior Chimney Sweep got right back to me, and were able to replace the cap that day. They actually used the old cap which was slightly bent from the fall off the roof, but they did a great job straightening it out and saving me a couple of hundred dollars. They were also very polite and did a great job explaining my options. I would definitely hire them again!

Fantastic. Technician was friendly, personable and polite. Communication was great-- he walked me through what he was going to do before he started the work. Along the way he explained terms and educated me about proper upkeep and usage of our fireplace. Everything was clean and neat when he left. He was also very straightforward with prices, services and warranty information. Pleasure doing business with you! Will recommend to friends and use your services again.

We just moved into a new house and our home inspector told us the chimneys were in need of repair and cleaning. We called Superior and they worked us into a busy schedule. Brian came out on time, was incredible polite and patient, explaining what was going on with our chimneys (a few bricks falling off, cracking, needed four chimney caps, talked about water sealing to protect against future damage, cleaning the pipes from furnace to chimney.) He worked efficiently and did a thorough job. We very much appreciated it.

This a great company! We were never pressured to have the work done by them. All options were suggested including what would happen if we did nothing. The work was sterling, the professionals were, well, professional. Pictures of the before and after were provided. We have an exceptionally tall chimney so unfortunately our quote was not cheap but then neither was the job they provided! We are very happy with the heat shield and are looking forward to safe and cozy fires this winter. I highly recommend this company and will be using them to clean in the future !

Honest, reliable and thorough. After cleaning and waterproofing, the service provider thoroughly explained the condition of the chimney, and even went into the basement to show us the various flues in our house ? which flues were in service, and how to plug an unused flue aperture. I feel like I have a much better understanding of the inner workings of our home now. Superior Chimney Sweep lives up to their name ? I'll be using them again and recommend them unhesitatingly.

Superior was very professional. Came on time and prepared the work area to keep it clean (this can be dirty work!). He photographed the crown of the chimney when he went up on the roof, so I could see the issues he was talking about. He was informative and helpful. . . and did an excellent job of clean up. . . no smoke smell or ash. He also inspected the chimney liner.

Service was excellent and I will certainly call them again. I have some minor cracks in the chimney that I would like filled. Will call them in the Spring. Gentlemen had very nice personalities and are easy to talk to. They also gave me some information that was very useful as a home owner.

They were a no show. They took my address 3 weeks ago when they made the appointment and called on 12/10/2014 to confirm the appointment. At the time they were due (9:00 am) on 12/11/2014 they called and said they were not coming because I lived to far. The lady who called said the owner was REFUSING to come out. I missed a half day of work for this scheduled appointment. Now I will have to wait another 3 weeks and miss another half day of work to get someone else to do the job. Terrible company. Do not recommend this company.

This company's name is right on mark-- Superior! This is the second time I've used them this year and I've been totally satisfied with their timeliness (same day in both cases); their expertise; their honesty; their willingness to explain what they're doing and why; and the cost of their services. Every company, no matter what service they provide, could learn about customer service and quality from Superior Chimney Sweep!

Jeremy arrived on time and was a delight to work with. Very professional and knowledgeable, and left no mess behind. Will definitely use again.
