+ -1 morethis is my first negative review of a company on this site, and i have left several. this seemingly routine work for an awning specialist took 6 MONTHS and DOZENS of phone calls. calls were often unreturned. i was often treated less then professionally and at times even rudely. i was given a large number of excuses as to why things were not progressing. this became the single most stressful contracting situation i have ever had to deal with. only because of an extreme time factor and the amount of time i already had lost in negotiating this mess, did i continue with this company. i should have cut my losses and run months earlier. in the end, i have my awning recovered with truly substandard art work on it. the lettering is entirely 'feathered' at the edges and is a terrible disappointment. one piece of signage is round and has a seam in it. the seem is not centered, but cuts the piece awkwardly about a third the way through it. when i asked about these things, the business owner told me the lettering problem was 'no big deal' and the poor edging of the letters would 'wear off' (the lettering wearing off at this much of an expense was not at all comforting). he also told me that the seam issue on the round sign was not one he had control of because he subcontracted it. REALLY!
Description of Work: replace canvas awning on existing frame and add on a section of frame and canvas. install. print logo and store name on canvas create two pieces of signage and install on building facade

Description of Work: Leisure Time responded to a minor "crisis"'where our retractable canvas awning's supports broke and it fell across our deck. |They responded in a very timely way, removing the downed awning, taking it to their shop for an assessment, concluding that with some straightening of the apparatus the awning could be salvaged. The remounted it and assured us that with its being reconfigured correctly (a shoddy installation from a competitor several years ago), we could again use the motor to extend and retract the awning. They were honest and efficient with their work. They did not try to push us to purchase a new awning package while this one still had life in it.
