water heater repair
+ -1 moreIt was okay. They were okay but a little bit misleading. First, put over a heater that was too large for the house without asking so they had their own heater that was too large. They told me they would not go to the local hardware store to get the Home Depot variety because theirs was better and then I found out that they bought it from Home Depot so that’s misleading. They also are charging $200 more than the Home Depot price. They were very quick. I would only use them again only for emergency if I have no other choice.
Description of Work: I used Kevin T. Boyle Plumbing and Heating to replace a water heater switch.

Description of Work: I had a toilet valve replaced, a washer hot and cold valve replaced, the valve to my refrigerator was also replaced. That was a difficult job hidden by duct work in my basement ceiling. I also had the refrigerator line replaced with top quality braided steel line, a very lengthy piece. My washer hoses were replaced with this same product. My dryer gas was hooked up as well as the venting. He is a very nice responsible man who respects your property. He also was very careful to make sure my cats did not get out. He also took a few minutes and carried some items down stairs for me.

I would use him again for sure.

He explained what needed to be done, he and his helper were both pleasant and professional, and we were happy with the work they performed. I would definitely call them again if we needed any mor plumbing work.
Description of Work: We had our leaky outside faucet replaced with a frost-free faucet. They also replaced the turn off valve and the piping needed inside with a more up to date one

Kevin called and inspected the problem on Monday, got the supplies and returned to do the repair on Tuesday. He charged a very reasonable rate. I'm told Kevin is a very personable and professional young man who does great work. Certainly a number to keep on hand for plumbing problems

+ 0 moreI had a problem with a toilet and my dishwasher. He was here, looked at it, and found the closure latch was not functioning so I could not turn the dishwasher on. In fifteen minutes, he had it repaired and saved me from purchasing a new dishwasher. The toilet also only needed a minor repair and it was fixed great. He only charged me $100 and was finished within 45 minutes.

Description of Work: My bathroom faucet was not working the way it should.I was getting just a trickle of water from the hot and the cold. Kevin came out soon after my call, said i needed a new faucet. I bought it and he came today to fix it.; The price was good. He is a young, competent professional. I have asked him to come back to fix the plunger in the tub which does not have to be worked on right away. He said he would be back in two weeks. If he didnt call me, be sure to call him. + -1 moreSome companies wouldn't even come out to quote since it was too small of a job and wouldn't give an estimate over the phone other than their hourly rate. Kevin came out to quote and gave me the most reasonable price out of the three plumbers I had and he was the most easy to deal with as far as scheduling. I will keep him on my list for years to come for big and small jobs. Great guy, great service.
Description of Work: Kevin installed a new kitchen sink (and trap), a new bathroom vanity sink and pipework, and new shower handle / head.

+ 0 moreHis detail and attention to quality are exceptional. He is friendly, easy to work and fair to work with. He had previously done extensive plumbing work in the house on vintage fixtures. Equally fine quality. We recommend Kevin Boyle without reservation.
Description of Work: Kevin installed a new Buderus boiler and two corresponding air handlers for our home. It was not an easy install. More than 300 feet of copper piping from one end of the house to the other. Our old boiler from the 1970's went down and overnight almost he and his crew ordered and pulled together the necessary equipment to do the job. He helped us assemble the duct work, the hauling crew, the asbestos removal and a delivery of systems within days. They were there from start to finish. With a 92 year old member of the household - heat was even more important. They got the job done.
