Fireside Designs

The owner of Fireside Designs is rude and obnoxious. He put in the order for our gas insert, and we returned to the store the next day because we wanted to change the color of the surround. It would have only taken a phone call to the distributor but the owner refused to do so. We told him if we could not change the color of our surround we would have to cancel our order. He said we didn't care if we did. We told him to cancel our order and he called us morons. This is the total truth, and if he denies it, I would take a lie detector test. He is a horrible man with many unhappy customers. There are better places to go, and I recommend Czar's Energy Solutions in Westfield. When a customer is spending upward of $4500.00 his business should certainly be valued.

They did a great job! There was a little problem getting things going and it ended up being a plumbing problem but they stuck with it and came back 3 times to get it fixed. I thought their prices were very competitive and they were just awesome. Anytime I called, they would come right out.

From my first visit there to the installation, the transaction went without a hitch. All buidling code requirements were explained, and what I had to do prior to installation was itemized. Other than picking up a couple pieces of stone, all I had to do was get a building permit to replace an existing pellet stove. Good deal, I'm glad I talked to these folks.

I was a little bit surprised on the cost but I may have underestimated how much it would cost. They did a decent job the first time they came in. I was pleased with them and have no complaints. They were polite and honest with me and stuff like that. They were little slow in letting me know about the delays. When they said they would come they came.

Our stove was not functioning properly. My husband called Fireside Designs on at least three different occasions and asked to speak to the manager. He was assured the manager would return his call, which he never did.

My stove stopped working about a year ago. The company I bought it from is out of business. I went to Hadleigh Hearth in S. Hadley. They said their policy is that they service what they don't sell. They were not interested in making a service call. I figured if I went to Fireside Design in W Springfield MA I would get the same treatment. I was wrong. They were very enthusiastic and willing to help me in my dilemma. They came as promised and repaired my stove so I can heat my home with it.
