Description of Work: We worked with this company 11 years ago when we built our house and were very pleased with their work, so when it came time for new granite countertops we asked them for a bid. We got 6 different bids. There were not the most expensive or the cheapest but working with Mike Cole convinced us to go with them: He guided us through the process and put us in touch with the granite company they deal with, Discover Granite and Marble in Millbury MA. Mike was in constant contact with Discover and us, letting us know what to expect and the timeframe involved. The folks at Discover were consummate professionals as well. The whole process including choosing the slabs we wanted, templating and final installation took three weeks. Everyone was neat, clean and professional. The countertops turned out to be more beautiful than we imagined. We would recommend Competitive Kitchen Designs and Discover Granite and Marble without hesitation.

+ -1 moreMike worked with us to find the perfect kitchen style. He provided detailed drawings and revised drawings--without charge--before we even contracted to buy the cabinets. He had great ideas. We decided to buy Great Northern cherry cabinets, which are not custom made, but made to order. These cabinets are very high quality and an excellent value. Our house is old and we needed a real pro to finesse all the details. Mike suggested a master carpenter, Joe Bates, who was excellent. During the construction phase Mike and Joe were in frequent collaberation. Everything went smoothly and we are very pleased with the results.
Description of Work: Designed and provided kitchen cabinets (Great Northern brand). Coordinated with carpenter, granite provider (Discover) and Great Northern.
