Having issues with your appliances AVOID this company! We purchased our whirlpool microwave less than a year ago from Home Depot. Within a few months the plastic on our OVER THE RANGE Microwave began to chip and crack. After contacting Home Depot and then being forwarded to the whirlpool warranty department, we were eventually instructed to have Advantage Appliance Repair Inc. come and assess the issues. Service Tech. Jeremey arrived on time to assess the damage and agreed with us that this is unusual and a defect with the product. Even saying “Let’s hope whirlpool has fixed this issue going forward, I have never seen anything like this.” After the visit, we received a call within the hour from Brian the service manager informing us that they will not honor the warranty claiming “it looks like you hit it.” (Yes, I often take out my anger in life on my microwave...lol) Brian at this point screaming at my wife “you tell me what it looks like to you.” And that it would cost us $500 to repair. Which is $50 less than we paid for the microwave in the first place. Rude, dishonest and insulting are adjectives which come to mind when reviewing Advantage Appliance Repair inc. If your warranty department sends you here for service, good luck with your claim as it seems you may need it! And obviously don't buy a whirlpool over the range microwave!

The internal temp of my stove was not working properly., but at least it still worked.They removed the Electronic board which left me with a non working oven and didn’t even tell me. I have worked with this company for years. The person they sent out was always pleasant and professional. BUT now they were beyond rude. And I still don’t have a working stove!

Decided it would not be worth fixing, too expensive.

I was initially a little unhappy that they couldn't do better than 5 hour window, but I got an automated call just before Jordan M's first visit to let me know he was coming. He diagnosed both situations and told me how much it would cost and when it could be done. I thought the quote, about $850 for the two repairs, was quite high, but signed off on it. He came back four days later. Same 5 hour window, but this time I got an email with an updatable link to his schedule of appointments so I could figure out when he'd probably be here. a very nice touch. Once he got here he went right to work and did everything efficiently and successfully. He was courteous and knew his business, so yes, it was expensive, but that's my only complaint. They seem to be very well-organized.

josh entered home in good mood. said he was to diagnose problem, NOT . it was already diagnosed and he had parts in truck to fix. mood changed suddenly, was upset with the mess last tech left him ( Jordan from go-pro). praised himself that he can fix anything. started to work, mood got worse. turned on phone , country music seemed to calm him. continued working, asked my husband to turn on water to ice machine in basement. they started yelling to each other ( ok, shut it off, turn on, .....) dogs heard a strange voice, so they started barking (3 pit bulls ) josh says out loud " I WISH THESE F*&$*NG DOGS WOULD SHUT THE f*&k UP !" I was shocked and then decided to stay away from him.. he put his music back on. I heard a noise like running water. I told him there was water pouring out of the back of the fridge. he then yelled "F*&K ! " I grabbed towels to clean my floor up. he figured out the problem , then came from behind fridge and said , " F*&K YEA, I FIXED IT ! " AND THEN PUNCHED MY FRIDGE (picture enclosed) I feel he has some form of Bi-Polar. my uncle had it and I recognize the moods. we contacted the supervisor , he said he wants to bondo side of fridge and paint. it is a textured fridge or he wants to give us $ 100.00 for our troubles. refuses to give us his insurance info. we do not want him or any one else from his company in our home again. we have had to miss work to be here for the tech. we run our own business and would NEVER treat anyone like this. GOPRO & ADVANTAGE APPLIANCE REPAIR are the same company. I WAS AFRAID OF HIS ACTIONS AND AM VERY GLAD THAT MY HUSBAND AND DAUGHTERS FIANCE WERE HOME WITH ME. I don't think this tech should be allowed in peoples homes if the homeowner is alone. I feel that they should replace my fridge. it was only 2 years old. VERY INSULTED AND DISGUSTED !!!!!!! DONT HIRE THEM PS... after Josh S left, fridge started leaking again and had to have A&E (sears) come out and fix it correctly.

Great! After I called the next morning, they were at my house within 2.5 hours. They were fair, punctual and reasonable. I'd call them for any appliance that needs repair in my home!! Highly recommended!!

Appointment was set up by another party. Company called to say they would like to reschedule so that they could order the seal and have it ready for the technician. This delayed the work by one day but obviously made more sense so I appreciated their thinking ahead rather than sending out the technician and then have to do a second call to actually replace the part. Technician showed up when expected with the part and provided an explanation of what he was going to do. Work was completed satisfactorily and he even provided a tip on how to keep the problem from happening again. This is the second time I have used Advantage with excellent results and will use them again if needed. Highly recommend this company!

I called at 8.30 and Gary the repair man was here by 11.00. He diagnosed the problem quickly, had the part on his van, and fitted it very fast. Efficient, knowledgeable and polite. Excellent service.

I had issues for several reasons I gave a complete description of all the issues online but when the guy came he only knew about the oven temperature issues I explained them about self cleaning and oven light issue. But he forgot to fix those and when I reminded him again, he did mention oven was too hot to test self cleaning. That was interesting - They promised $20 promo for online scheduling - when I asked I was told that it is only against service dollars - so what $90 about? Very misleading Overall the repair guy was nice and that the reason I am giving them B - otherwise it would have been much worse

Josh was wonderful, professional, courteous, and friendly. I enjoyed his company while he efficiently worked on my dishwasher. Throughout the entire time he was here he was respectful of my home (IE: he took care to not mar my counter with his tools) What impressed me the most was that he kept an eye out for my cats while he went in through our fenced in yard, here in coyote territory. I hope A Advantage Appliance Repair Inc. knows they have a gem of an employee with Josh! (There was no charge for this service because I was still under warranty. I would use them again even if it was not and I had to pay)

My wife called the company on the phone to get information about service and was told there was a diagnostic fee which would be part of diagnosing the problem. It turns out that it's just a "we showed up fee" and we were charged a separate amount for diagnosing and fixing the problem. The technician clear the line, and shoved the fridge back in place but did not check it after that or they would have noticed that the water line was kinked and the freezer door water could only drip. It took over a week to get a response and they set an appointment another week later. At this point I diagnosed the problem and fixed it myself. To sum up: Charged me 89.99 just to show up, it's not a diagnostic fee. Didn't check their work upon completion leaving me with a new problem that they caused. Minimized the priority on my follow appointment to fix their mistake. I will never do business with or recommend this company.

Reuben provided top notch, professional service. He quickly found the problem and repaired it. We are extremely impressed with his knowledge and skill and will call this provider directly the next time we have a non-warranty service issue with another appliance.

Spoke to supervisor Brian on 02/17/15 - he defended the technicians and told me how great they were ( even thought they did not follow their own procedures as outlined in their brochure) he did not apologize just made excuses - he then scheduled a tech in two days to replace the valve which I paid $111.83 which the 2nd tech said needed to replace. So far I have paid $280.92 and the problem is not fixed. Oh, Brian thanked me for my input. This is not good customer service. In this case, I felt they were more focused on defending their service and people rather than listening to the customer. I need to add - The 2nd technician that visited was professional and explained the problem. Would I use this company again? Never!

They are great, they are awesome we would use them again in a minute. They e-mailed me a picture of the tech including his schedule so I knew when to expect him. They e-mailed me about 1/2 hour before he arrived letting me know he was on the way. They were the first company to call back. One person came out to do the job when he was done it was very clean, you couldn't tell he was even here. I would say excellent, professional and reasonable price serviced.

I was very impressed with this service. I made initial contact via their website on a Sunday, and they responded on Monday morning. By email, we scheduled the appointment for Wednesday. Tuesday evening, they emailed to remind me about the service, and give an approximate time that the technician would be there. On Wednesday morning, I received another email with the name and a picture of the technician, and a link to their website with his schedule (by zip code) which would give me an indication of how soon the technician would get to my house. As he left the job before me, he called to let me know he was on his way and give me an estimated time of arrival. When he got to my house, he diagnosed the problem very quickly, called me to authorize the repair (I was at work), and then completed the repair, leaving the broken parts behind for my inspection. By the time he left, I could not tell that he had been in my house to fix the oven, except for the box with the broken ignitor. What was most impressive is that he did the work just before a photographer got to the house to take pictures for my house listing with my realtor (I'm selling my house), and the kitchen looked pristine when he left.

My dishwasher is 2 years old, and began leaking. I called the repairman I had used for another job, and after examining my dishwasher he said that it might not be repairable and that I should call Kitchenaid to find out if they had any recalls or other complaints about my model of dishwasher. When I called Kitchenaid they referred me to Advantage, which is a Kitchenaid certified repair facility. Advantage was great! Amanda (the repair person) was right on time, knowledgeable, and thorough. I needed one part which she had to order, and said that it might take a few days. She was back in two days, with the part! My dishwasher no longer leaks. I will definitely use them in the future for any other appliance work I might need.

Best appliance repair company in this area. They are very prompt in setting up a service call and completing the necessary repairs. Second time I have used them and it won't be the last.

My experience was fine. The technician was a nice guy. He was punctual.

We bought the washer from Sears. They had a technician come out from Sears and they quoted us a price of over $1200.00 more than the purchase price. I said, okay, thank you, goodbye for Sears. Then I called around for independent appliance repair stores in the area to see what they would quote. They were very honest with me. It didn't go further than, "what would it cost to replace a bearing in a front loading washer". They were very honest and said about $1200.00 so it matched Sears and then we got into a conversation of why it would cost so much and the labor. They were very courteous. I didn't engage their services at all. We bought a new washer to replace the one we had. The gentleman that I talked to was very good. Very personable. I got a good feeling that he was an honest person that I could deal with.

They were helpful and professional. They explained the process of ruling-out the possible problems to my satisfaction.

Repairmen was very pleasant neat and quick.
