Swift Window Cleaning Service

After reading positive Angie's List reports for Swift Window Cleaning, I called their number and received an answering service. It took a bit more than 24 hours to get a call back. The gentleman who called said that he would look at the house and give me an estimate. A week later I had not heard from him and called the answering service again, complaining about the lack of responsiveness. Meanwhile I contacted another window cleaner because I wanted to have the job done before moving into the house. Then the gentleman from Swift called me with an estimate. He said that he could do the windows for $300, but that he did not have time to do the ten jalousies on the back porch. He would have to do those at some later date and it would cost another $150. At that point we made an appointment for the following week. Then the other window cleaner, who also had a positive review on Angie's List, offered me a much lower estimate for the entire job, including the jalousies, all to be done on the same day. He was extremely courteous and accommodating. So I called the answering service for Swift and cancelled. While it is important to do a good job -- and, according to Angie's List members, Swift is obviously excellent in this regard -- it is also important to show consideration toward the customer. This means returning calls promptly and being straightforward about being too busy to take a particular job, so that the customer can find someone else without wasting a full week.

This is the second time we have hired Swift and we have had a great experience with them each time. They came out promptly at the time agreed upon and washed all 45 of the windows in our house. They did not have problems with windows where the sash cords were broken or the windows were sticky. One person washed the outside of the windows from a ladder while the other did the inside. After cleaning, the windows are spotless and gleaming.

I called the number on Angie's List. They took a message. Joseph Bunszell called that evening. He said he would come on Monday and check the windows. I told him I would be at work. He said he would check out the windows from the outside and leave a price and the date he could come. When I came home there was a card in the door with the price, $150 for 15 Windows. He said he could do it Wednesday between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM. I called and also left a message that Wednesday would be fine and agreed to the price. He came a little after 8:30 and got right to work. I was very pleased with the work.

There was a total of 10 windows that was to be clean, tenants stated that if the doors were closed than not to bother about cleaning the windows, so only 5 windows got done.

They were very good. The work was completed in two hours, inside and out. We'll definitely use them again. They were extremely professional and pleasant.

Nice job, nice people. Father and son have worked together for years. No fuss, no muss.

A TEAM OF TWO ARRIVED ON TIME (EVEN A LITTLE EARLY) AND WORKED QUICKLY TO DO A GREAT JOB. THEY WORKED AROUND ME AND MY BABY, MOVED FURNITURE, REMOVED AIR CONDITIONERS WHEN NECESSARY, AND LEFT THINGS AS THEY FOUND THEM. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS A PLEASURE!

BOB WAS ON TIME, POLITE, BUSINESS LIKE AND VERY EFFICIENT. HE DID AND EXCELLENT JOB AND LEFT NO EVIDENCE THAT HE WAS THERE, EXCEPT SPARKLING CLEAN GLASS IN EVERY WINDOW! NO DRIPS, NO FURNITURE OR CURTAIN DAMAGE.
