Keane Painting

We had water and ice damage from the winter. The plasterer came in June but Barry was completely booked until late August. But he told me it was going to be around then and he did come when he said he would. Barry and his colleague Pablo (an Irish lad whose real name is Paul) were very thorough, fast workers. They were very tidy and conscious of protecting other surfaces and areas in the vicinity. Their painting skills were great and it was a very seamless job from start to finish. They were great lads, great sense of humor and were very accommodating on all fronts. I would definitely recommend Barry to other people and hire them again.

Barry and his assistant were excellent. They were easy to get and maintain contact with. Very responsive. They did a fabulous job. Cleaned up every day before they left the house. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely call them again for any future painting needs!

Barry Keane (and his partner Paul) of Keane Painting were fantastic! Barry was incredibly reliable, responsive and punctual and fit us into his schedule earlier than we expected! His painting work was flawless and very reasonably priced. He was a pleasure to work with and we would undoubtedly use his services again!

Barry was very responsive. Came out and gave a quote and arrainged to do work the following week. Showed up (with a helper) promptly at 7:30 AM as promised and worked 2 full days to get the job done quickly. The patch work and painting is very professional. Before accepting payment, he wanted us to inspect the work in various daylight to make sure it was perfect and exacly what we wanted. I highly recommend Keane Painting.

From start to finish Barry was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive to my call and flexible with scheduling since we needed a very quick turnaround. From first contact to completed job, it was less than a week. I was worried because it's difficult enough to find a great painter, let alone one that can fit you in to his schedule! I shouldn't have, we were very pleased with the quality of Barry's (and his colleague's) work. They were neat, organized and efficient. They were sure to clean up after themselves and easy to have around the house all day. We would not hesitate to use Keane Painting again!

Barry was very responsive and professional. We needed a quick turn around to make the place ready for move in right before Thanksgiving. We got the quote and Barry started painting that week. His price was less, and he could do the work sooner than the 2 other painters we talked to. He finished ahead of schedule, even we added more work to the scope. Things were pretty hectic moving around the holidays, and we didn't notice until a few weeks after he was done and had been paid that in a couple of areas had been touched up with the wrong paint - semi-gloss where it should have been flat. I contacted Barry, and he said no problem, he'd take care of it! And he did, plus a few other new things that I wanted done. I was so grateful that he made the call back to fix the problem. I was afraid that I'd be stuck fixing it myself. What's even more amazing is that I got busy and didn't schedule the return visit for three months after he dd the original work. Once I finally called to schedule, he was back at my house the next week, no questions asked. Thanks Barry!

Barry was extremely professional throughout the entire project from the time that he was first contacted until the work was done. He responded promptly to my initial contact, then came by to see the job and sent out an estimate within a couple of days. Since the apartment is a rental unit, we needed the work done in a timely manner in order to get new tenants into the unit. Barry was able to work out his schedule to make this possible. While Barry got the job done, I need to emphasize that the work wasn't rushed. It was beautifully done with time taken to patch every hole and crack and make the walls in our more than 100 year old home look like new. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and will have Barry do additional work for us as needed.

I am very pleased with their work. They arrived on time and were fast, efficient, very pleasant, and neat. They protected the hard wood floors . The job was completed very nicely in a day and a half. I would hire them again and would highly recommend them.

Barry did an amazing job, he covered all the annoying marks/spots I pointed out, the painting was done smoothly, and he patched the hole perfectly. He called me to confirm everything, and communicated promptly. He called a few days after the job was done to make sure I was satisfied and to ask if I had any other questions. I just moved to a new house and I will be using him again for more work.

Barry was awesome. I called him with an urgent request to paint my living room in time for a big party, he worked me into his schedule, and it was done within 10 days of my initial contact with him. He and his staff were punctual, communicative, and nice. The job was done perfectly. I am delighted with the result, and will be calling him again!

Barry was a pleasure to work with. After an initial mixup with his email account, we were able to connect and schedule the work. His price was fair, he communicated frequently and well throughout the project, showed up when he said he would and the quality if his work was very good. Overall a great experience. Keane Painting was excellent. They prepared and painted three rooms and a small bathroom in our house. They followed up, were prompt and did excellent quality work. Barry and his team also were friendly and professional. We couldn't move all our furniture, so his team moved and covered everything. They were very neat and cleaned up nicely after their work. We are extremely pleased with the work done by Keane Painting. His estimate was fair and comparable to others that we reviewed. He completed the work on time. From quote to finish he was available via text or phone. He completed the entire job and cleaned up every area when he was done. We appreciate that he was able to fit in our job between many others and we are very glad we chose him. If we ever need to paint again he will be our first and last call. Keane Painting deserves the highest praises. They painted our entire interior in under three days, and were exceptionally clean, prompt, and professional. Our house looked spectacular when they were done. We gave Barry and his team a very tight timeline to complete the job because we also wanted to refinish our floors before we moved into our house. Not only did they finish the job within that timeline, but they took extra care to patch all of the holes & damaged spots that the previous owner left behind (& there were lots of them). Our walls were smooth & unblemished by the time Barry's crew was finished. Pricing was fair considering the high quality of the work and the very short schedule; it also included the paint & materials, which Keane Painting pays for out of your fee. Very convenient. Barry also gave us good advice about half a dozen other repair items that we'll consider for the future. We are first-time home owners and had lots and lots of questions; Barry patiently answered them all.

It went very well. He showed up to estimate and painting all on time and always responded to emails/text/calls very quickly. He was able to work within our schedule (the few days between closing and when the movers were coming) and made things very easy. Work done was good. Did ask him to come back and left list of touch-ups, all of which he did. There may be slightly less expensive painters but he did very well overall and we would use him again.

Barry did a top-notch job. My request was relatively urgent and he was very responsive. We were impressed by his professionalism, promptness, and attention to detail--not only with the painting, but in the care he took protecting the rooms while he painted. Our ceilings look great, as does the new paint color in our daughter's room. We'd definitely hire Keane Painting again.

Barry was a pleasure to work with. When he made an appointment to come for an estimate, he came on time and paid careful attention to everything we asked for. He told us when he would be available to do the job and how long it would take. He arrived on schedule and completed on schedule. The cost was exactly as quoted. He (and his helper) were very cordial and a pleasure to have around. About 7 years ago, a friend of ours painted a large colorful flower on a wall in the kitchen. My wife really wanted to keep that flower. Barry took a great deal of time to paint the wall around the flower and even filled in between the stem and the petals without harming the flower. It looks amazing Prior to the paint job I had an electrician run a new light and outlet. He made some very large holes and cut outs in the walls. Barry repaired them all and they are not in the least bit noticeable. He is truly a professional and I will absolutely contract with him for my next paint job! Thanks Barry!!!!!

Barry did a great job on a tough project: Removing very old wallpaper from an old house. Great work.

I needed my 1100 square foot condo with 12 foot ceilings and tons of trim painted quickly after we moved out to get it ready to sell. Barry started the day after we moved, worked all weekend, and, by Monday, it looks like a whole new place. Great quality, very few paint spots on the trim or floor.

Barry and his team did a clean, undetectable job patching and painting cracks and holes created by the electrician before him. Worked solid two days, no messing about. Scheduling was straight forward too, he gave an accurate assessment of his backlog when we first met, slotted us in shortly thereafter and the cost estimate was spot on also. Barry and the crew are conscientious and skilled technicians, my impression is that the reputation they've built up and that is on display in the many reviews on this website is well deserved.

Barry was recommended by the person I hired to do the plastering (who did a great job), so I got in touch with him. He was very responsive in coming over to give me an estimate on the work. I liked him, and he was very professional. There was some initial delay in getting the work scheduled -- but it worked out well before too long (I think Keane is a small family company, and he does commercial projects as well; I caught him in the middle of one of his commercial projects. As soon as that was done, we easily set things up, and he came over right away). On the work itself, Barry and a helper arrived right on time, and got right to work. They did an excellent paint job (even coat, sharp lines, etc.) -- even painting a few things not part of the original estimate at no extra charge (some baseboards and a door surface) because, if they had been left unpainted, they would have looked old/dirty alongside the new contracted work. Keane Painters were clean (no collateral damage (splatters) whatsoever), and considerate. I felt very comfortable with him. I would highly recommend Barry, and would definitely hire him again.

Barry and his partner were awesome. They came when they'd said they'd come and they were prompt on the phone. The estimate was completely reasonable -- 600 for a bathroom, three big walls and a bunch of touch ups. They even got rid of my apartment's vestigial rusty shower rod. He really did a splendid job on the painting. We ran out of paint midway through one wall--which was my fault for not getting enough (there was a mixup at the paint store on colors), but we got it fixed up no problem. I tried to get him to charge me more, 650 or something, because I felt like I was getting such a steal (there was a LOT of patching and he even cut a clean line on a wall I'd botched before), but he wouldn't take it. Moral of the story: These guys are great.Fast, reliable, high quality--and they're really nice guys too.
