Con did a great job. He is very professional and quality of work was excellent. He took the time to prepare the area. When the job was completed, Con cleaned the area. He is very responsive to calls and texts and always kept me updated on the work. I will definitely use him again.

Excellent! Conn came to my home for the initial estimate on time and even removed his shoes without being asked before coming into my house. He got back to me with the price when he said he would and was prompt and courteous. The preparation for the job was flawless and he covered all the surfaces to protect them. I would hire CD plastering again in a heartbeat and have already recommended him to friends.

Whole process went very well. Con returned call the same day I phoned; came out the next day to do an estimate; price seemed reasonable; said he could perform the work in a couple weeks; phoned back in about 3 weeks to setup date; came the next week (could have been earlier but I had conflict) and completed the job within a day. I'm very happy with the results.

Con and his team are great! He was practically the only plasterer who called me back. We were able to make an appointment for an estimate for about a week out, which was great. His price was very reasonable, and I hired him to do the work. They did a great job, answered all my pesky questions, and let me take pictures (for insurance purposes) every step of the way. They always arrived on time, were polite, respectful, nice and did a great job! Cleaned up beautifully! Also gave me instructions on how to keep the room cool so that the plaster didn't crack, which it didn't.

Con Doherty did an excellent job! He call to confirm dates always let me know what time he would arrive. I have never seen anyone work as hard as he does! He starts early and stays until he is done with the rooms he planned to finish each day. I had a cat trail high on the walls, running around the main floor of my house that I no longer wanted. It wasn't part of the estimate but Con removed it and patched a section of dry wall without any added fee even though I offered to pay for the extra labor. His work is excellent. I'm so happy with how great my walls and ceilings look now!

I had a very good experience with CD Plastering, Con is friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I spoke to several companies to get quotes and I felt he was the most experienced and detail oriented. He was communicative and honest about their schedule and they showed up and finished when they said they would and kept the work areas (and the rest of the house) as clean as possible throughout the process. Don't go anywhere else -- hire these guys.

This is the best looking ceiling I've ever seen. Con and his crew were amazing. Quick, efficient work. The painter I had to come do the ceiling was very impressed with the work they did.. too. Very highly recommend these guys!!

Con and team are excellent! This is the second time I've had them in to get the walls finished and both times I've been happy with the quality of the work, the cost and the speed in which they're able to get the job done.

Con Doherty was very easy to work with and flexible in scheduling the work. His price was also very reasonable. He called a week before to remind me and started the work on the exact date that we had agreed upon. He patched and put a skim coat of plaster on the walls and removed and reinstalled ceiling molding at no extra cost. The quality of his work was excellent and he was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend his services and will use him again if I have the chance.

The job went smoothly. Con Doherty, the owner of CD Plastering, promptly returned all of our phone calls, showed up as promised to provide an estimate, gave us advance notice about when he would be starting the job and the expected duration, gave us advance notice of required preparation on our part (i.e., relocating furnishings), re-confirmed the start date for the work in advance, showed up for the job when promised, kept us apprised of schedule changes (the job took a bit longer than originally estimated), and completed the job in an entirely professional manner. We are pleased with the results. The only glitch we encountered was a call from the building's management company because CD Plastering personnel had taped open the building's entry door, even though we had provided them with a set of keys. We made Mr. Doherty aware of the problem, he apologized and ensured that this didn't happen again.

He provided an estimate quickly, was nice and helpful in answering all of my questions, and told me that he would be able to do the work in about a month. A few weeks later, he called to say that he could do the work the following day, which worked for me. The following day he showed up on time, moved furniture out of the way, sealed off the rooms, and got to work. The job was finished in one day, and everything was nicely cleaned up. The new ceilings are very smooth, and everything looks great. From start to finish, everything went perfectly. I'd definitely recommend CD Plastering!

In February the snow piled up so high on our roofs and ice dams started occurring in lots of places. I tried getting people out to help but everyone was so busy. The damage was significant. Walls, ceilings from second floor down to the first had leaks. The insurance company found someone to come out and take down the wet/damaged walls after the snow had melted and for a week we lived with 5 of 6 large fans and 3 huge de-humidifiers to dry out everything. Unfortunately, this company was booked solid with other people and couldn't finish putting everything back together (they had told us this in advance, but we wanted the wet walls down before everything got moldy so we agreed). We then began a search for someone to plaster and put the trim etc back up. After many many calls to people who were too busy, or people saying they would be out and not showing up I was ready to give up. I had read about Con Doherty's great review's on Angie's List and on a local list in my neighborhood, thought I would send him and email but didn't get my hopes up that anyone would call. Well, not only did he call the next day but he came out the following week even though he is busy with lots of other clients, gave us an estimate and was here today with his crew. Did ALL the plastering, insulation (they were here promptly at 7:30.am. and stayed until they were done after 5) What a great job. I would recommend them to everyone.

Con came as promised for estimate. Price was fair. He came as scheduled to complete work. He completed in 2 days as planned. He respected my property and did a great job to protect everything with plastic/paper. He suggested 2 changes to work to improve results that caused him a little extra work which he did at same price. With all work completed, I don't think I could have found a better man/company.

The job went very well. Con arrived promptly at 7:30 am, as specified, and over two days put in new ceilings. He was neat, covered everything and did a great job. Later in my renovation I needed the walls in three rooms skim coated and again did a very nice job. The finished walls looked like they have been sheet rocked that is how smooth they were. I would highly recommend Con for any and all plastering.

In February, I had an ice dam on my roof which caused a leak in one room. My insurance company had the ice dam removed and, after the snow was (hopefully) done for the winter, provided demolition and drying of the affected area. After all that was done, I spoke to several firms about reconstruction, and either never got a call back or was told that they were booked for the next 3 months; so many people were affected by the snow and ice this winter, that everybody is swamped. Finally I called Con and left a message describing my job. He called back quickly and discussed the situation with me. He gave me an estimate, which I accepted, and told me that he'd be available for my small job within a week or two. One week later he called and asked if he could come by that afternoon. Since I work out of my home, I was agreeable, and he showed up with two helpers and completed the job in about two hours. He did an outstanding job: he covered everything nearby with plastic, put batts of insulation into the wall, replaced the wall and ceiling, and did an excellent job of plastering the wall and ceiling to match the surrounding areas. I even had a fire alarm sensor in the section of the ceiling that was damaged - that is where the water dripped in - and he replaced it into the ceiling, just as it'd been. After he was done, he vacuumed up any debris and left the work site spotless. He was polite and professional throughout. He will certainly be the FIRST person I call next time I need plastering done in my house.

Everything went very smoothly. Con was efficient at getting me an estimate. He was able to schedule the work for the following week. I had been away on vacation and my flight was very delayed, putting me back home around 3 am. Con kindly moved me to the afternoon so that I wasn't having to get up as early after that. It was much appreciated. He was very professional. He had one person with him. The put down plastic, did the work quickly, getting done in just about 4 hours. This is a 1911 house with old plaster, and it looks like it was never damaged in the first place. It wasn't a huge job, thankfully, and he still treated it like was as important as any large job. I hope I don't need to use him again for this kind of thing, but if I ever need a plasterer, I would not hesitate to use him again.

Con and his crew was very professional. To the point communications during all phrases of the job. The crew took the time to set up covers as an attempt to contain and seal the work site as well as cleaning up after themselves when done. Honest pricing especially if you factored in the level of detail the crew expressed. Highly recommended.

Con and his crew arrived right on time and immediately started prep work on the two areas in need of repair. Thier prep work was outstanding! Removed molding strips in both areas to be worked on paying close attention not to damage in any way and what piece went where. Worked efficiently till the work had been completed. Removed all prep material in both areas and cleaned up all debris as well. I am happy with the work and will call Con again if I should need any plastering work in the future.
