This was the second tile service I called. The gentleman at the first company was very helpful and gave me a rough estimate of what he thought the job would cost, asked me to send photos, etc. This gentleman started off telling me what a small job this was, the grout that's used now is not going to last long, it's hard to get all the old grout out, etc., etc. I told him that it sounded like he didn't want the job and he didn't disagree with that, so I thanked him for his time and ended the call.

I received a call back fairly quickly and he explained his price and said that he would be available either the next Friday or Saturday to do the job. It seemed more expensive than I had been expecting, but since his reviews on Angie's list were so good, I thought it might be worth it. Lucian never called back to schedule. I called him back twice to see if it was possible to schedule again, and never heard back. I realize that we only had a small job, but I appreciate it if a contractor can let us know up front if he doesn't have time for it, as Lucian certainly wasted my time and got us further behind on this project while trying to schedule with him.

It was a great experience from start to finish. He was there when he said he would be and finished when he said that he would finish. Everything looks better than we could have imagined.

Lucian did a great job! He called in advance to confirm his arrival time, arrived on time and kept everything really clean while he worked. He called to follow up and make sure we were happy with the finished product. He's very knowledgable and professional.

We are so happy with the finished product and working with Lucian was a great experience. The project was delayed and we had to push our start date back. Even with the last minute change in timing, Lucian worked with us to help complete the work quickly. Lucian took the time to make the project just perfect and was very detail oriented. He was also always responsive anytime we needed to reach him. I would definitely hire Lucian again for any tile work we need done.

The technician was willing to explain to me how I could repair my shelf myself to save me the money, and felt bad charging me for such a 'simple' job. He arrived when he said he would, fixed my shelf, and was finished very quickly. Not only would I recommend AA Tile without reservation, but I already have plans to hire this company again for upcoming work.

I obtained Lucian's name from Angies list and called him. He answered the phone right away (this was the case throughout the project), and gave me an approximate quote over the phone. On the first day of service, he noticed that we had purchased inexpensive (and less durable) grout. He recommended a different brand and we asked him to pick it up for us, which he did. We were very impressed with his knowledge of tile and the products used. We asked him to provide his expert opinion on another room that had already been tiled (by someone else) that didn't look good. He gave us some great advice on how to fix it. Lucian showed up on time to fit our schedule, got the work done within the time frame he told us and at the price he told us. I would absolutely use him again when I am ready to tile my 2nd bathroom!

Very good. From the first phone call to the setting of the date through the finish, no problems. Arrived ontime and very professional. Explained all the problems that might occurr but all went smooth. A job well done!

We were very pleased with him, but there were a couple of things that didn’t go quite right. The good thing is that he was able to do it really fast for us. However, there were some issues with the floor that he had to come back and fix. We paid him what he had quoted before doing the work.

I am satisfied with the work that he did for me. He answers his own phone. He heard what I needed to have done and he made an appointment to come over. He looked at the job and he itemized everything. He gave me a price for actually installing the tile, the price for the underlayment, price for the removal of the old tile, and even a price for a baseboard if I wanted that. In the end, I could pick and choose which of those things I wanted to have done. We didn’t have the baseboard put in. We did the removal ourselves. Thus, we only paid for the underlayment and the tile installation. He came when he said he was going to come, and he did the job in a day and a half.

I would very highly recommend Luci. From the beginning, it was easy to contact him, he always answered his phone himself. He came promptly and gave an accurate estimate on the spot. He shared very helpful suggestions on floor design/ pattern. He designed a unique flower pattern with cut tile for the center of the floor. He is a skilled artisan who takes pride in the quality of his work. The unique tile design he created is a work of art. He completed work in the specified time frame, cleaned everything up, and picked up/ exchanged materials with the tile store as needed. Overall- superb quality from a responsible, trustworthy and highly skilled artisan, at a fair price.

His price was beyond reasonable and the bathrooms looked great. Six months later, the grout between the tiles is cracked and we have loose tiles coming off on the bathroom floors. We called Luci and after he took a look at it said to us, that he was hired by the contractor and voiced his concern about the underlying materials at that time and that the only way to fix the problem once and for all would be to rip apart the bathrooms (2 ½ bathrooms)!!! While I understand that he spoke to the contractor about this, he did not speak to me. We had multiple conversations regarding tile placement, thresholds and spoke about how all communication should go through me, the owner, not the contractor. I was so impressed with how nice he was that I had no problem dealing with him directly and even paying him directly. I am so disappointed that he did this work without letting me know that he had concerns to begin with. All he had to say was that he spoke to the contractor and told him that he had some concerns. I would have acted on it back then, before I spent thousands of dollars on Italian tiles and someone to lay them. It will probably cost me triple the amount of money to fix the problem, if I have to take up all the tiles, buy new ones and have someone lay them for me. In the end, it is his company’s name that I or any one else for that matter would quote when asked about a good tile guy. It is with great regret that I will no longer have anything positive to say about him.

Lucian was great, he was very resonsive and always on time. Provided me with a quote, suggested a grout color, and picked up the grout for me. Completed the work in a timely fashion, and left my condo clean. I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend his work.

I was extremely pleased with the work. They were very professional. They provided my an original quote. The original project changed and they reduced the price accordingly. They finished ahead of schedule. They were very sure to clean up after themselves.

The man we worked with was professional and prompt. We choose this company because of Angie's List and he totally lived up to the reviews we read. His name is Lucian and we highly recommend him.

We are delighted to recommended Lucci of AA Tile Works as a tile installer. Throughout the job Lucci was professional, respectful and accommodating. At our first meeting he took time to discuss which tiles would create the best look and which grout would work best. His pricing was very reasonable. He referred us to a supplier who gave an excellent discount and saved us considerable money. Additionally, we needed the job to be done quickly. Lucci committed to a deadline, put in extra hours to ensure that it got done, and finished the job early! We were very pleased with the result - the area looks great. It s clear that Lucci loves his work and takes pride in it, and that is the mark of a skilled artisan. In sum, his pricing and workmanship were excellent. You ll be lucky to have him work for you.

Luci is one of the best, most professional tile workers I have had the pleasure to work with. His prices are fair, his workmanship is impeccable, he is there when he says he will be (or he will call beforehand if he is going to be later than expected). He goes out of his way to make sure that we both agree about what the result ought to be, so there's no miscommunication. When we slightly under-ordered one type of tile we needed, he arranged with the flooring company to get the additional tiles and drove over to pick it up. He was always pleasant, working steadily while he was here. I can't recommend him highly enough. As long as we're in Massachusetts and he's doing this work, he has all our future business!

His price was beyond reasonable. The bathrooms look great. He was very attentive and fixed mistakes that were caused by miscommunication on my end. He was very responsive and the job looks great. I can't wait to get my back splash tiles and get him back in there. Great Job!

Lucian was able to setup an appointment right from the first phone call (no call back etc.), he came over that very same day and was able to give us a estimate right there. I was happy about this. We accepted the estimate and he started working the same week. The kitchen floor looks excellent and so does the back splash. We are very very happy and will use Lucian again.

We called Lucian and he returned our call and came out to give us an estimate promptly. He was able to give us a general idea of cost on site and we contacted him the following week to schedule the work. Lucian was very knowledgeable and patient with us throughout the process (and we had lots of questions!). He did an excellent job tiling, was communicative and responsive, and cleaned up after he was done. His prices were very reasonable for the amount of time and care he put into the project and he was able to get us a discount on the tile we ordered so we saved money that way. Lucian really seems to love what he does and it shows in his work. We were very happy with the results!

I left Lucian a message - he responded that afternoon. Lucian came over same day to see the job and returned that evening with a very fair estimate. Lucian did an excellent job throughout. His work is perfect and he leaves the space spotless. Lucian takes his work very seriously - he is very professional. Excellent.

Lucian returned my phone call within 2-3 hours and set a time to come by and give us an estimate. We accepted his estimate the day he came out, as we already had some quotes. He started the job within a week. Our kitchen floor looks amazing as well as the backsplash. He finished the work within a week and his price was very reasonable. I plan on bringing him back to put new tiles on our master bathroom. We highly recommend him. He will be installing tile in my mothers kitchen next week.
