Only minor difficulty was getting hold of each other and explaning the problem. From there it was smooth. He squeezed us into his schedule before we went on a vacation and that was helpful. Work and communication were excellent. I had a box of florescent bulbs that I was trying to use and he pointed out that they were mostly defective so I didn't need to waste my time putting them in one after another and trying to get the fixture to work.

Norman was paged and called within 10 minutes. Great guy to talk to, not at all put off, and KNOWS his stuff. Whenever I need electrical I will be using him Good service is nearly impossible to find

It went well. At the time, his schedule was busy, but he was able to come on a Saturday morning and complete the job without a problem. It was easy to reach him through his answering service and cell phone.

We had a great experience from start to finish, and will definitely use Weston Electric again. Norman returned all of my phone calls promptly. He made his initial visit on a Saturday (!) just to check out what type of smoke detectors we currently had and to see where they were installed, to check out our bathroom light/fan switches, and to give us an estimate for the work. When he left he indicated that he would double-check with the fire department to ensure that our new smoke detectors would be installed in accordance with the most current codes, that he would purchase the new detectors, and that he would then call us to schedule the work. Within 3 days of the initial visit he called to tell us that he was ready. We scheduled the install for two days after that (less than one week after the initial visit/estimate). Norman showed up exactly when he said he would, and completed the job in a timely manner. In the process he discovered that one of our detectors did not have a box properly installed, so he took the time to fix it while he was there. Norman also answered a bunch of questions I had about replacing light fixtures and ceiling fans - which is our next planned project. As soon as we have our new fixtures picked out we will be calling Weston Electric to have them perform the work!

He couldn’t do the job right away because of flooding, but he came at 8 o’clock in the morning when it stopped. I have used Weston Electric before. The lights would go on and off and my appliances wouldn’t work. My TV had a lot of problems. It was absolute disaster. He did work that was worth $1000. His name is Norman, and he was phenomenal. I don’t know what I would’ve done without him. He left a job that he was working on to come out to tend to my issues and reassure me. He was here for about two days. He came at 8 o’clock in the morning and didn’t leave till 3 o’clock. He constantly came and reassured me. The quality of his work was excellent. He came back and put surge protectors on the panels downstairs. I can’t praise him enough.

Weston Electric provided great service, as well as great work. I called on Saturday, worried the the tripping circuit could be dangerous. I reached an answering service, and Norman followed up quickly, and he left me confident that I didn't likely have an immediate problem (the breaker was doing its job) but that he would see me as quickly as he could (monday morning). When Monday morning came, he was there early, methodically and efficiently tracked down the problem, and while he was there fixed a few other things that had been annoyances, an outdoor outlet that never failed not long after moving in (new construction), and a doorbell that hadn't quite been loud enough to be useful (it had a transformer that had variable voltage connection, and he moved the connection to a higher voltage than had been previously installed). We also talked about a few other things we might have him do, now that we've "found our electrician". I will call Weston Electric again without hesitation.

The response to my initial call was prompt and professional. The initial meeting went well and the prices were fair and reasonable considering the amount of work. We did have confusion on a change order and it required an additional visit to get it all correct. The workmanship and clean up were first rate and the recommended equipment is high quality and functions very well. This is a professional electrician who does his work in a quiet, respectful and courteous way. I strongly recommend this service provider.

Mr. Norman is a professional par excellence! His attention to detail and his flexibility in scheduling is unsurpassed. He installed new light fixtures in our home and changed the circuit breakers to meet code. His prices are unrivaled and his work top-knotch. Finally, he is a gentleman and first-rate person. I would highly recommend him for any job.

We used Weston Electric for our last project and there was no question that we were going to call Norman for our next. We had high expectations for excellent service because of the great experience we had with our first project. We got exactly what we expected. Norman was easy to reach, responsive, prompt and did the project on a day convenient for me. We are very happy with the recessed lighting he placed in two rooms this time and with the lighting he did in two other rooms last job. In addition, while he was here, I asked him about two other problems we were having and he addressed these as well, even though they were not on our original plan for that day. It is reassuring to now have an electrician we can trust for when problems or projects arise. We will definitely be calling him for our next project and I have recommended him to my friends with high praise.

We called Norman on Wednesday, October 14th, and he said he would try to get to us by the end of the week. He called on Friday, October 16th and he came over and fixed the bad circuit. He tested everything on the circuit and made sure that the repair was solid. We do not have an electrician that we know and trust, but Weston Electric has now filled that need thanks to Angie's List. I was not sure if Angie's List would be worth the money, but after this one experience I feel we made the right decision. Norman was very professional and explained what he had found and what he did to correct the problem.

Norman was gentleman that showed up. He was punctual, extremely efficient, and pleasant to deal with and his rates were reasonable. I will recommend him to all my friends.

We had an ugly, low hanging light fixture in our dining room and wanted to improve the lighting in that room. Norman was very responsive, came at a time that was convenient for us and gave us information and advice on how to proceed. He also educated us on options for under cabinet lighting in the kitchen. He worked around our busy schedule, was prompt, responsive, easy to reach. We are very happy with how everything turned out. Norman is very professional, reliable and we will definitely be calling him again for our next project. We recommend him very highy.

I needed a cable TV outlet installed downstairs and Norman also replaced a breaker in the panel and re-installed an outlet in the bathroom. He came on time as promised to give an estimate and then offered to do the work same day which was awesome. He was very neat and did not leave a mess behind. I would definitely call Norman again. Reasonable fees and straightforward. I called on a Friday and he came over on Saturday morning so they were very good about getting back to me and fitting me into the schedule. He said he is very booked up so I was grateful to get it done quickly.

I read the great reviews of Weston on Angie's List and called them immediately to give me a quote. Norman got back to me the same day and was out at my house for an estimate within 2 days on a Saturday. He was very up front about the challenges of removing knob and tube and being clear on "worst case scenarios" regarding having to make holes in walls and the cost. He gave me an estimate of about $2300 to do the work if the "worst case" occurred since there is no way to tell until you really start working, and it would be a 2+ day job. We figured it would be around that under normal circumstances. We scheduled him to come and he showed up promptly and went right to work. Knowing nothing about wiring, etc., he could have easily told us it was as big a job or worse than he thought but he happily reported that there were a couple things that were OK that would shorten the time and the cost. He finished in just under 2 days and the final bill was about $500 LESS than his estimate. He was polite, friendly and professional and did his best to minimize impact on our daily lives since we have 2 small children and I work from home. He cleaned up perfectly work areas and and nicely patched the small holes he had to make. I would highly recommend Weston electric to anyone. Honest, Dependable and Professional. One of the best experiences I have ever had in this realm!

We bought an old house, 1916, and the inspection brought to light some electrical issues. Norm was just fantastic. He responded to my phone message right away, came over that evening to look at all of the items in the inspection report and provided an estimate in within 2 days. He came to do all of the work in 6 hours which included rewiring the 2 electrical panels in the basement, checking/maintenance to the back up generator, checking all outlets and replacing the many reversed polarity ones, and snaking a wire through the wall to get cable for our TV into the living room. He was so efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our novice home owner electrical questions. We learned so much about the electrical stuff in our home which we really had little idea about ...like that pesky back up generator. Norm even helped me to figure out some of the stuff in the greenhouse attached to our home (like opening the roof panels), outside of the scope of the work we were asking him to do.

Everything went well. The two jobs took a part of a day. There was a third job that we asked for which was routing a cable line from the basement to the first floor fireplace where we will eventually put a wall mounted TV. Norman checked out the job and advised us to have it done when we actually get all the hardware to minimize the disruption to the wall. We took this advice and will call him once we figure everything out. The other two job were done with no problems and the attic fan works great.

The entire transaction, from initial call to project completion and the final bill, was easy, efficient, fair and satisfying.

It all went well - he took the time to still check out my electrical boxes in and out and had patience in answering my questions.

They do a great job and they sometimes even help you over the phone. We have been very happy with them.

Our house was struck by lightning in July '08 and had multiple electrical problems as a result. Norman Gassett was a huge help diagnosing and repairing the many problems we had. He is courteous, punctual, and pleasant. I would recommend him to anyone as completely trustworthy and reliable. I have used Weston Electric several times since the lightning strike and Norman Gassett is always responsive and quick to return calls. He can sometimes get to my house the day I call.

The electrician was very informative and courteous. He figured out the problem and went right to fixing it. He did all the work in a very timely fashion.

It was great. They were really nice and honest. He didn't run out right away so he could charge us. He tried to walk us through everything over the phone to see if we could take care of it ourselves so that he wouldn't have to charge us for the trip.
