+ -1 moreWe've used McCarthy's landscaping to mow our lawn and spring cleanup since 1995, and have always been very pleased with their yard work. This was first time we used them for paving/stone work and we were delighted. Our concrete front steps had been heaving out of position from tree root growth, and were looking nasty. Roger scheduled an apt for an estimate, arrived promptly and made excellent suggestions for replacing the steps along with adding stone veneer to an ugly retaining wall. The quote was very reasonable, so we had his team do the work. First we visited their showroom for choosing paving and stone patterns and colors. They showed up on time over a several day period, the lead person was extremely knowledgeable about stone work, and reviewed in detail exactly how far the steps and wall work would be designed. The resulting work looked nicer than I even expected, and Roger provided good follow-up to make sure we were pleased with the work. I would definitely use them again (and recommend!) for any landscaping or paving work.
Description of Work: Removal of old concrete front steps, new stone steps, new stone wall veneer over existing concrete wall, new loose-laid stone wall.
