The crew spent 3 days taking 35 trees down. A bit of a rain delay and they have to come back again. But good. They are so quick they make it look easy. My only question was how close they got to the septic and Chris assures me it is fine. They literally dragged trees over the septic and ripped down caution tape that surrounded the septic. We had a pool built afterwards and not one subcontractor ever crossed that line. Only time will tell what the long term damage will be on our septic. Septic company wants $500 to run a camera underground. Dodge never took down the largest tree in our yard - they just took the tree off the bill!! Instead of owning up to the fact that they couldn't handle the job. They also never ground 3 of the stumps that they were supposed to. They subcontracted out the work and never made sure the guy came back. Chris never called to follow up and never came until I didn't pay the final installment of the bill - because the work wasn't completed. Then he showed up on my doorstop saying that this wall bullsh*t. Nice language and very professional. Next time he should follow up on his subcontractors!

They are terrific. They come quite promptly and they are very knowledgeable. They are flexible. The prices are reasonable. I've used them for a number of years. The trees were quite spread out and they sprayed the trees at the top and bottom of a long driveway and all around the edge of a clearing where my house and pool are. I've used them for a long time. We didn't set a time for the appointment.

The guys from Dodge Tree were very professional, not only did they call both the day before and the morning of the scheduled time, but they were on time as well. These guys did a great job, they removed two entire trees, leaving the trunks in 16and quot; sections for firewood, all in under two hours. They didn't ruin any flowers, break any plants or knock down any wires, which was my biggest concern. I would use these guys again and will recommend to anyone who needs tree services on the North Shore.

They called the day before to confirm the work, and arrived exactly on time. They had positioned the equipment and went to work within minutes of their arrival. I expected the work to take a couple hours, but they had everything wrapped up, equipment broken down and all debris removed within an hour. I was very impressed with the quickness and professionalism that they showed.

The owner of Dodge Tree, who wrote the quote, did not seem particularly interested in the job, which perhaps should have been an indication of what would follow. The work was scheduled to begin October 30, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. At 9:00 a.m. when no workers had arrived, and not having heard from Dodge Tree, we called the company. We were told that because of the storm (Hurricane Sandy) Dodge Tree was giving priority to emergency work, and it would be several days before they could get to us. This was understandable, but Dodge Tree didn't even bother to inform us. The company just decided not to show up. The work was rescheduled for November 9, 2012. At approximately noon on November 8, 2012, Dodge Tree's owner called and said he had to delay the work for an additional week because they were still catching up. We agreed on a date eight days later, November 16, 2012. Again, Dodge Tree did not show up on November 16, 2012 as scheduled, nor did they call. Later in the day, unable to reach a person, I left a message that the work must be completed on November 26 or 27. Dodge Tree returned my call, stating they received my message and that I should feel free to call the office any time. Nothing was said about not showing up or completing the work. When we reached Dodge Tree the office contact person said and quot;he has you on the schedule for November 30,and quot; and the company was still dealing with storm damage issues. (This was two + weeks after a storm that had minimal to no impact on the cities/towns in our general area of northeast Massachusetts). Further, no reason was offered as to why we weren't informed of this latest delay. We declined doing any further business with them. We felt that we were and quot;strung alongand quot; by Dodge Tree with promises of short delays to prevent us going to another company.

The crew arrived on time. Very pleasant. Went to work , stopping for water breaks. It was really hot. When I would check their progress, they were very engaging to my two young grandchildren. Will definately

He called ahead to see if he could come early. He was extremely professional, polite and knowledgeable. He gave me some tips and ideas. I thought I had a dead tree but he said it wasn't and told me not to cut it down. He was more about savings rather than having me spend money unnecessarily.

They did a good cleanup and the workers were good. They came out soon after we called and I will use them again in the future.

They were excellent. I thought it was done beautifully. It was fairly quick. They came with all the necessary equipment so there were no delays. They took great care to make sure the family members and dog were safe and secure before they started. They were very thorough and the time frame was definitely faster than I even thought. They cleaned up everything and they also gave us the name of someone who could do the stump grinding and that company came and took care of it. I was very pleased with Dodge. They did have to reschedule once but when they did come they showed up bright and early.

They are excellent. They are prompt, reasonably priced and knowledgeable.

I got three bids and all the bids were equal but I went with them because they could do the work sooner. I contacted them and they came out the next day to give a quote. Overall, the work turned out great. They completed the job yesterday. It was a two part job. One was taking the tree down and they did it on the 1st of August and on the 4th of August they ground the stumps. They were on time. The cost actually came exactly to what the estimate was. They were able to do the work within a week as they had promised. They were prompt. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

I called four tree service companies for quotes. Although all the companies showed up on time and seemed professional, Dodge Tree Service came in with the least expensive quote (by a fair margin - the most expensive of the four was nearly double Dodge's quote). I scheduled a date and time for service with Dodge. Two workers arrived within the specified half-hour window and proceeded to quickly remove the trees. They informed me before starting that they might leave some logs near the base of my driveway for pick-up later and that the stump grinding would be done later in the week. With the exception of the bottom 15 feet of the largest tree (moved to the base of the driveway), everything was chipped on site. They thoroughly raked and cleaned up the areas from which the trees were removed. The next day, the arborist came back and ground the stump. The trunk was also removed the next day. Top notch, professional service all the way - and for a reasonable price. I won't hesitate to use Dodge in the future.

They had the best price out of the estimates I received. They were very good with their clean-up after the service. They made sure to get all the scraps out of the yard. The work was finished in one day. They came when they were supposed to come.

I contacted Dodge and another provider for estimates. Each came out within a week. Dodge was slightly less expensive. The work was done the following week in just a few hours. The tree looks great and the yard was left clean.

I was not impressed with how Dodge handled the situation on my property. They showed a lack of professionalism and respect due to us as property owners. Their total lack of communication with me as the property owner was simply unacceptable. My neighbor hired them, but all their work had to take place on my property. Fortunately, we were home to witness when this happened. They never got consent from me to enter my property before bringing in heavy equipment. They also never got consent from me to perform work on my property. And they never consented with me on how they needed to perform work on my property. This resulted in Dodge doing more damage to my property than my neighbor’s fallen tree did, which left us with a demolished fence that didn’t need to be. When I went out to voice my concern about what was going on, one of their workers actually started to give me an attitude and tried to get into a shouting match with me. I was also told to call my insurance company to get compensated for the fence they wrecked. I wrote them a formal complaint and made several calls to their owner (Chris), but he never contacted me to address the issue to put it to bed. Being handy myself, I ended up having to repair the fence on my own. The fence was in tough shape before Dodge arrived, but it was intact. By fixing it myself, I feel that I proved my point that the fence was still functional and not something that needed to be demolished. I would never hire this company unfortunately.

Chris came to give an estimate and was very professional. Three workers came to do the job, all friendly and professional. The workers did a very good job of cleaning up when work was completed.

The guy that owned the company came out to do the estimate and he was very nice and professional. The guys that came out to do the work were quick and seemed to know what they were doing. They bill you later so that you don't have to be there when they come to the house. Overall, I had a good experience with this company.

Office personnel set up an appointment for a free estimate, for which the technician was very punctual. All were polite and pleasant. Exact estimate was provided, work was scheduled and performed on-time, and I was invoiced for estimated amount.
