+ -1 moreRickson only completed a small portion of the vinyl siding that had already been installed, added wood to the soffit, added a door for the crawl space and added insulation to the inside outer wall of new build. Rick charged us $3,000 and changed the contract to charge us $4,500. The work is sub-standard no caulking no painting and he did not put up gutters. He said he would return to finish but he never did.
Description of Work: Finish out the vinyl siding on new build, add wood and paint soffit on new build, gutters for new build, stucco new build, add door to crawl space of new build, add drip edge to corner roof of new build and install insulation for new build closet.

+ 0 moreAgreement was made, in writing. $3000 deposit provided. Rickson Barnabas did not show up as promised. Multiple attempts made to get money back. Mr. Barnabas finally returned all funds on 8/29/19.

+ 0 morei told him there was damage to roof underlayment and roofs should be stripped. he assured me that he could over both with new shingles and they wouldn't leak.the first rain storm proved him dead wrong. one roof, water was pouring in and the other dripping from two spots.he did come out quickly and tried a quick fix to no avail.now he had to strip most of one roof and replace underlayment and shore up rafters. the other roof he sealed with roof caulk.that was ok till the first rain and wind came and it was leaking from a plywood patch he put in when he put the roof on. it has been three trying to get this resolved.

Description of Work: two porch roofs replaced. told him that there was damage to sheaving on both. he assured me that he could just go over the existing roofs i told him that the old should be removed, but he insisted he could make it work without leaking.sure enough, upon the first rain, both roofs leaked,one severely. he did come out promptly and had to partially rip up most of one of the roofs,which cost me another 1500.00 dollars. he also did some repair to a leak on the other roof.all seemed well until the next rain when another leak popped up. this work was done in august 2014. i have been trying to get this resolved since october of that year. about last march he dropped off some shingles and some flashing. called and he would be out soon.all i have gotten is backpeddling and excuses.

+ 0 moreHe got the job because he said 'it's a 1 day job. I'll come with my whole crew.' The start date was delayed by nearly 1 month - some because of rain but some because he just didn't show up. When they finally arrived it was just my contact and one other guy! He said the other van 'broke down' so the rest of the crew would not be there. I found out later that this was the same excuse he used on another job. Needless to say the 1 day job turned into 6 work days spread over 45 days. He left a pile of old shingles on my lawn covered with a tarp for about 2 plus weeks and killed my grass. He stripped the roof as it was starting to rain and failed to cover it properly causing leaking in 3 places. He later came to 'fix' the damage by painting the water stains but they still show through. As the saying goes you get what you pay for. I just hope the work he did on the roof is done correctly. I would not recommend BIPP.
Description of Work: They removed most of old roof and replace entire roof.
