house cleaning
 + -1 moreThe Furies came to the house to clean up after I remodeled a bathroom. The dust from the construction was everywhere. They cleaned every nook and cranny of a 3000 sq ft house in 5 hours. The house is very clean.
Description of Work: Sarah and her team are true professionals. I hired Furies to clean at my parents house after a bathroom remodel job. The house was covered in fine dust from the construction. Furies came in and cleaned top to bottom and the house is great. I highly recommend the Furies for a construction clean-up. The Furies also clean my own home twice a month. I appreciate the lines of communication from a day or two before to remind me they are coming and ask if anything special needs to be tended to, and then after the cleaning I am sent a detail invoice of who came to the house and how long they were there.

 + -1 moreTwo people arrived promptly and stayed for the agreed two hours. They did a good job at getting dust and cobwebs from high places, removed lots of dog hair, and the bathrooms were very clean. Some of the routine dusting downstairs was spotty. Two days later I picked up a framed photo that a guest asked me about and it was covered with dust. There was lots of dust left under and around the bed in the downstairs bedroom. Several baseboard heat strips were not vacuumed or dusted. The wood floors were dry-mopped, but were not wet-washed as I expected for high-quality poly-coated oak; they looked spotty. Stuffed furniture was vacuumed thoroughly but lower chair rungs on wood chairs were not cleaned. I was at home the entire time but except for the initial walk-through they never asked a question. I was quite disappointed in the result--especially when i got the bill!!
Description of Work: They were not clear about price when I contacted them by phone-I expected a much lower price. If I had realized how much I was paying I would have asked them to do more. I asked them to do high dusting of vaulted ceilings, vacuum all stuffed furniture, clean three bathrooms, vacuum and dust upstairs (carpeted) and clean four downstairs rooms. They did not have to do the kitchen except for the wood floor which is continuous with the other rooms.
