My son's condo floor received water damage due to a break in an adjacent units water line. The floor area by my son's entrance door became wet and as a result warping set in. Dan, the owner of Boston Premier Flooring, was extremely responsive using his moisture meter demonstrating that the underlayment concrete flooring was very wet. His crew removed the flooring to let the moisture dissipate before installing new hardwood. New flooring was installed a week later. They stained the floor and then applied several coats of polyurethane. It came out beautiful! This is the second time we used Boston Premier and I highly recommend them. From the first phone call to the last piece of wood installed, Dan was an absolute pleasure to work with. This was the first major project that my wife and I took on in our new house. From talking us through the best hardwood options out there, differences between natural and engineered hardwood, and advising on some of the other intricacies involved with the project, Dan couldn't have been more helpful in guiding us through the entire process. His flexibility when our materials were delayed and the crew's professionalism during the two days they were working made this a rather enjoyable project for us to work on together. I can't say enough good things about Dan and his crew!

I cannot recommend Dan and his team enough!! My wife and I bought our first home together, which had beautiful pine floors ( 40 years old) on the first floor - except for in one bedroom which was carpeted. The second floor consisted of three carpeted bedrooms. The staircases was a red oak that was stained an ugly amber color. We wanted to tear out the carpets and replace them with hardwood floors however our fear was to shell out a lot of money and have the house look like a jigsaw puzzle made up of different wood. On top of this, we had to match some pretty tight timelines and get this job done. Dan came in on short notice and was able to advise us - he assured us we could install pine floors in the bedroom downstairs which would match the first floor look, and that we could add red oak upstairs as well as sand down the stairs and refinish them to match the red oak on the second floor. Dan and his team came in guns blazing and did a fantastic job. They were able to complete everything ahead of schedule while maintaining high standards for their work. They are extremely professional, reliable, work hard and fast, and can deliver. Do yourself a favor, if you have a project in mind, make your life easier and get it done right with Dan and his team. No need to look anywhere else.

Dan and team were excellent. Dan came out the day after speaking to look at the floor and was able quickly to identify the wood and provide a concise description of the work that needed to be done. The floors came out beautifully and the work was done on time and on budget.

The installers were punctual and professional. They put down 385 sf of flooring and did baseboards in 1 day. The price was just a little higher than a couple of other quotes, but because of good cutomer reviews, I hired them. I would highly recommend them.

The work was excellent. Dan returned my call within 24 hours, came out to give an estimate on a Saturday (which was very convenient for us), and that same day had the hardwood delivered. The project took about 5 days (mostly because they had to put several coats on the wood). The floor looked great and matched the hardwood flooring in the rest of the house.

Dan Nguyen was professional and gave us a quote at the first appointment, which was very convenient! We were moving in on a set date and the work was done in a timely manner. The work done was impeccable and exactly what we expected and what was promised. The team left the house clean. Highly recommend Dan and his team, would absolutely work with them again!

Dan and his team did a beautiful job, and left the house perfectly clean. My floors hadn't been done in at least 11 years, since I moved in, and there were spots where the finish was completely worn off and the wood had gotten dingy. They got all that out and brightened up the floor considerably. They came on time and were polite and respectful. Premier was not the cheapest quote I got, but I was impressed with his straightforwardness and care, it wasn't like he was trying to sell me something or talk down to me. As long as I have any flooring needs in the Boston area, I cannot imagine using anyone other than Dan and Boston premier flooring. Simply said, they were fantastic - reasonable, punctual, responsive, hardworking and earnest. They provided a quote within 2 days, started work within a week, and were done 3 weeks later. A few months after they were done, I realized that the polyurethene they used had shut one of the floor access doors. Dan came over immediately (on a Saturday) to take care of it. I would highly recommend Dan and Boston Premier Flooring.

Went very well. Dan was great to work with during the initial quote process, checked in on the day the work began, and followed up the day the work was done. Worked with our schedule, answered all our questions, and was a pleasure to work with.

Let me begin by saying I have had floors refinished before. But not by THIS company. So needless to say I do understand that there is NO such thing as dustless sanding. Dan Nguyen showed up exactly on time. He looked at the space (2 bedroom floor through with ALL hardwood floors except kitchen and baths) and asked me if I wanted to stain as well or just refinish. I went for the refinish. As I had doctors appointments (and had to notify my new neighbors), I contacted Dan and told him that I may not be able to let them in on day one. I had extra keys. Dan put a secure lock box on the rail so they could get in and out. I opted for 3 coats of semi gloss finish and they look SUPER!!! The guys cleaned up brilliantly afterwards (better than anyone else I've ever worked with). This is the third time I have refinished floors at a couple different properties Boston Premier Flooring is simply THE BEST!! They also did not wreck the baseboards. THANK YOU DAN!!!!

The newer floors are perfect. The old pine hallway and rooms are probably as good as they can be, but the stairs were not. They used pale filler for nail holes, which were not always sanded flat, and not stained to match. Some of the stair repairs were good, but one left a piece of wood protruding that would have made a bad wound on a bare foot. I called then back and they came right over, but they still didn't fix the ugly filler and only stained the exact places I pointed out. We had to cover more spots on the upper floors ourselves. The owner is very nice..

It was excellent. We had a very short timeline, but Dan worked with us to figure out exactly what we wanted to do, and get it all done ahead of schedule. Everything was done meticulously, and it looked 1000 times better in the end. I only marked down responsiveness, because I kept getting confused whether we should communicate via text or email, and he kept switching. The price was fair, but a bargain - which is what you should pay for work of this caliber. I would recommend this business to anyone doing this kind of home repair!

The job went great. I had a few questions for Dan which were addressed, this is how business should work. I wish all contractors can be as punctual and as efficient as Boston Premiere flooring. Great job!

Dan and his team are true professionals. I did a lot of research before hand and had a lot of people come out and take a look at the job. It was interesting everyone was telling me to put a transition piece between the living room and the dining room/kitchen, but not Dan. He said he could do it, but to make it look more natural he said his team would stagger it in and I am sooooo glad that we did that. You can not tell at all that there was ever a load bearing wall when you walked up the stairs. Also, Dan was incredibly responsive and very helpful throughout the whole process. He even let me do 2 coats of poly and then let my contractor finish the kitchen and then came back and did the last coat to make sure there was no scratches or anything. I would without a doubt recommend Dan and Boston Premier Flooring to anyone and I already have told many people about them. If I ever need anything else I will be sure to let Dan know and go with him.

It was excellent! Dan was involved from the beginning to the end. He was very professional, attentive to details, carefully explained all options, and was willing and able to answer all my questions. He was also very respectful to his crew. The crew cleaned up every day before leaving, wrapped the heavy furniture in plastic, and out & back in again when the job was complete. Although the cost was not lowest bid, I am convinced it was best quality and value!

What a mess ... stain was left all over the baseboards and on carpets. Attitude of owner was to threaten a lawsuit when I complained not to pay the full amount. He also insisted I remove a negative review on this website.
