It was a nice experience working with Dan and his crew. They showed up within the expected time, were courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. Dan is prompt with responses to any questions you have.

Our experience with Dan Nguyen and his team was excellent. After a water leak damaged our 1970's-era kitchen, we decided to renovate and replace the laminate floor (that also had 2 layers of linoleum underneath). Our home is circa 1930, with beautiful hardwood floors in every room, so we were really concerned that a new floor would look out of place. We interviewed a few different floor companies, but when Dan came to talk to us about the project, we knew we'd found the right guy for the job. Dan Nguyen is an artist, and prides himself and his company on making your home look beautiful. "We'll match the existing floors as closely as possible," he told us, when others had said it couldn't be done. He encouraged us to "feather" the new floors in with the old so that the appearance from our entryway would be seamless. He also told us about his process: "we'll use 3 coats of poly to really bring out the grain in the wood, and we'll make sure the last coat isn't super shiny, so it'll match the shine of the older floors." He outlined for us when it would be the appropriate time to install the floors, given we had a lot of work going on in the kitchen including plumbing, electrical, cabinet installation, plastering, etc. Dan was really responsive to all our questions (and I had a lot), explained everything about the process so we knew what to expect, was really flexible about scheduling and made sure the work was done properly. Even after the final coat of poly was dried and I noticed a slight mar in the finish, he came back immediately and fixed it. Yep, it was more expensive than the other companies we'd gotten quotes for, but it was totally worth it given the careful way the work was done, and the beautiful results. It's a pleasure to work with a company that takes pride in their work and really wants to make sure they do the best job possible. I can recommend Boston Premier Flooring without hesitation.

Dan and his team were extremely professional, and did amazing work. Dan came and met me before we had closed on the house to do the measurements and had wood delivered 12 hours after closing. He and his team were onsite at 8 am Monday morning and they worked incredibly hard to complete the job within our (unrealistic) timeline. They completed the job and it looks amazing and I would not hesitate to hire him or recommend him to anyone.

Price was very fair and when client decided to add stain which wasn't in original quote he was able to roll with the punches. He is just accommodating and easy to work with and the quality of work was first class....

Dan Nguyen the owner came out and laser measured the two rooms .He was of course very informative ,knowledgable and pleasant. Although he could have supplied a quality select red oak I was hoping to stay with the Bellawood we had already in the other parts of the house. No problem and and he supplied an immediate estimate . The install was set to coordinate with after the cabinet and island were finished . Day of install came , the crew were polite efficient and extremely respectful of our home ad property . The finished work is flawless!! they did 550 sq ft split between 2 rooms in one day . The area was left immaculate and I could not be more impressed with what a beautiful job they did !

Dan was very easy and professional to work with. He was very honest up front about what he was comfortable doing and what he wasn't comfortable doing. He was punctual and completed the work in the time that he had promised. His payment terms were very reasonable only requiring a small deposit upfront and rest of payment upon completion of the work. I highly recommend him to anyone getting their floors done.

Wonderful job--Dan Nguyen and crew made what i anticipated would be a nightmare into an almost painless and always calm experience. Timetable was exact and when i had a question, Dan was always readily accessible. They did everything I asked with a friendly attitude.

I had purchased reclaimed heartpine flooring from a mill months ago. Several installers turned down the job stating it was too hard to work with or they just didn't call me back. Boston Premiere did a good job and I love my new floors. This was for installation only as I finished them myself. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Dan was great from the very beginning. He arrived and gave us an estimate on the spot - we booked him immediately because the price was very fair. The work was completed over the course of a week. Afterwards, I noticed a couple of issues - there was a small red scuff mark and some puckering of the finishing in front of our bathroom. Dan came over and fixed both issues immediately. His quoted price was his final price. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a fair, honest, and hardworking floor guy.

Dan Nguyen is a professor of hardwood flooring. Dan and his team at Boston Premier did an amazing job on my condo's floors, and were flexible regarding a fluid schedule that hinged on painting being completed prior to commencing the floor project. By way of background, my bamboo floors were in VERY bad shape but now they literally look like new. Moreover, apparently bamboo is a tricky wood to refinish b/c it can splinter. That said, Dan and his team proved to be skilled professionals in handling my floors with care and expertise to make them look great. They also replaced several boards so seemlessly that I am currently not able to identify which boards were actually replaced. Finally, they cleaned up well after they were done. Dan was a very pleasant person to work with and knew his stuff inside and out. He exudes a quiet confidence born of experience. To that end, I am confident that he and his team will exceed even the toughest grader's expectations in relation to anything flooring related. I would definitely recommend Boston Premier to anyone in need of hardwood floor refinishing / repair / installation, etc. Thanks Dan Nguyen and Boston Premier.......job well done!

Sanded, cleaned, and triple-polyurethaned 725 square feet of old, scuffed, but intact hardwood flooring, plus seamlessly replaced a board that had been heavily damaged, plus sanded, cleaned, and triple-polyurethaned three front stairwell landings of about 50 total square feet, plus stained the stair landings to blend in with the surrounding dark stairwell woodwork. Dan was on time, reasonably priced, and came through hassle-free in the midst of a complicated project requiring him to work around other service providers also rehabbing the apartment. I appreciated the attention to detail, the honesty, and the high quality of the work. Will definitely hire him again!

An excellent experience. Dan was able to visit and give me an estimate on the first day I called Boston Premiere. We scheduled the work a bit later (delay was on my end while I made decisions, not on Dan's). When we wavered on which wood to use, Dan was patient, helpful and informative. He's forthright and honest as well as friendly, a terrific proprietor. Once we'd made a firm decision, scheduling was arranged for a date that suited us perfectly. The installers arrived right on time, They were friendly, efficient, and skilled. With two rooms emptied out, the rest of our not-large apartment was crammed with furniture, boxes, etc. They maneuvered around everything. And they kept the apartment IMMACULATE the entire time. Everything was done very intelligently. Excellent, excellent final product: after just one and a half days, we have two beautiful new floors with details very nicely seen to. Doors were planed at the bottom before being rehung, so that they'd clear the new floor in one room: beautifully done. Thresholds: excellent work. Heating vents VERY expertly reinstalled. EXCELLENT ALL AROUND. I highly recommend Boston Premiere, and its proprietor Dan, to anyone looking for expert installation, a fair price, and a friendly, local, customer-based business.

Excellent! Dan, the owner, is very easy to talk to and is obviously a very honest person. He and two of his crew worked on my floors for 3 days and they did a fantastic job. The floors look brand new again. The bonus is that he was reasonably priced. Dan and his workers were very polite, respectful and professional. They took good care in protecting our smoke and heat detectors and even helped with ensuring that the mail was not dropped through the mail slot (and onto the wet floor). They were here on time and Dan was in communication with me throughout the 3 days to update me. I highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them next year for the rest of my floors!!

Dan, the owner, was very prompt in coming over for the initial quote, and then again to make a refined estimate after we tore up the carpeting. He communicated well by phone, and arranged his crew's schedule to suit our timetable. The result is beautiful! The floors are a huge improvement over the ragged, uneven pine below. The edges where the floors meet the baseboard is perfect. And they left everything very neat and clean. The only "B" I'm listing is for what seemed like a high price -- but in exchange for a HUGE improvement aesthetically and a big increase to our home value, too. Boston Premier came highly recommended to me by a friend, and I didn't have the stomach to sort through multiple bids and risk any shoddy service. I had the feeling I could count on them to do everything promptly, professionally, and perfectly, and happily, I was right.

We had a great experience with this company. Dan came out for an estimate right away and was very professional and easy to talk to. He explained the different options and gave us a couple different estimates for various scenarios. Their estimates were a bit higher than the others but we felt confident in them so we decided to move forward with them anyway. They completed the job while we were away and we came back to beautiful floors. We have to do some touch up painting on our baseboards but he warned us that may happen. The dust was minimal and we were so pleased with the results. We would highly recommend Boston Premier Flooring

Dan was punctual for coming to look at the job and gave a written estimate right there. He and his workers showing up right on time on the first day to do the prep, sanding, and poly, and each of the other two days to add additional coats of poly. Communication with Dan was very easy and he was responsive. The site was kept clean at all times and the floors and stairs looked beautiful when they were finished. There was a bit of a surprise (as there often is in old houses) where, at the entry door, after the tile and plywood were removed, there was a void in the floor for a mat. This resulted in a change request and extra charge requiring the installation of extra wood to bring the void up to the level of the rest of the floor.

I was really impressed with Dan from the beginning. He was reliable, prompt, and basically he transformed my floors from badly worn 100 year old ones to looking brand new. From the edge of the wall next to the baseboard to the other side baseboard, the floors look completely even with stain and polyurethane. I would hire Dan and his crew any day and would recommend him without hesitation.

We got 3 estimates and Dan's was the lowest. Since he already came recommended by our realtor it was an easy decision. The work was completed on time with no problems. Our only regret is thinking we should have gotten both the upstairs and downstairs floors done - we may have him back!

Dan was fantastic. When I spoke to him on the phone. he was clear in explaining how the process would go and offered to come do an in home estimate. Out of the three vendors I spoke to, I got the best feeling from him on the phone and in person. He gave me the best estimate out of all of them, and explained to me that because my floors were prefab and had been stained, the grooves between the wood pieces would remain the same color and have a "boat" look. I wasn't sure what he meant but it turned out to look fantastic. It look less time than he said it would and he made great recommendations. While it was more expensive, he recommended water based poly because I am pregnant and wouldn't have to move out of the house (could just move downstairs) and also an extra coat because we have big dogs. The floors look amazing, the furniture was completely moved back into place (most flooring vendors do not move your furniture and having to hire a mover would have been a big pain. They did it for a small fee and everything was perfect).

Took 3 days, everything went great. The installers were very helpful and responded to all our minor request. All furniture was put in place exactly as they found it They found some money that fell behind one of the cabinets. They returned it..

Dan is amazing. I absolutely recommend him to everyone who needs flooring work done. By far, he was the most professional out of all the 5 people that I received quotes from. I wanted 3 different tasks done and did not know how much I could do within my budget. He broke down the price of each task individually and gave me a written estimate on the spot. He was able to work within a tight schedule. Once I decided to go forward with the job, he had the hardwood floors delivered the next day. Everything was done in about a week's time, one day ahead of schedule. For the stairway, I was unable to find someone to do the sideskirts for me. The price of that labor was not included in my original quote. He was gracious and personally did it for me, even though this is something normally outside of his scope of work. He practically disassembled my staircase and rebuilt it for me. I can tell he spent a lot of time on it because it looks amazing. He was flexible with me when I decided to change my mind on one of my tasks. He never got upset at me or complained a single time. He clearly enjoyed what he does and is good at it. Dan is an honest, detail-oriented, hard worker - hire him!

This is the 3rd time we have used this service. The work is old world quality. NO CORNERS CUT WITH DAN. I have recommended him to several friends over the years and they have all been very happy. His inlay work is remarkable. He has the patients required to turn an every day floor refinishing job into a work of art. It is obvious that he loves what he does. His clean up is also remarkable. I have heard horror stories about the dusty mess left behind with this sort of work. My wife is very picky, and she would not allow anyone but Boston Premier to touch her hard wood.

This is the second time we've used Dan at Boston Premier, and as long as we need hardwood installation or refinishing work, we will keep going back. Dan is very personable and professional, not to mention punctual. His team came in and did the demo and haul away work in about a day and was laying boards in the second day. He suggested two coats of sealant initially, and then another after the cabinets and appliances were installed. We were out of the house during the project, but time was of the essence because the kitchen installation was scheduled for 6-7 days after Dan's project started. The floors were installed, treated and dried with plenty of time. Dan proactively called about the application of the last coat, which was a great idea because the kitchen installation caused some scratches that they were able to remove. NOTE - In addition to removing the old flooring, Dan's team did the complete demo of the kitchen, removing cabinets and appliances which he was going to use in a rental property of his. In exchange for the cabinets and appliances, he did not charge for this work, which saved us the cost of labor from our general contractor and sped up the process on our overall project.
