Webster Masonry

We got an estimate from a different mason who had an advertisement in a local paper who wanted to charge $1000 just to repair the brickwork in front of our house. The brick work was set in sand except the outer rows that were set in motar. Over years of exposure to rain, the bricks set in motar failed and a couple of rows fell over. Not wanting to pay what we thought was an enormous fee for the task at hand, I decided to look locally and found the number for Webster Masonary. Since speaking to the first mason, we decided that we were going to purchase a pellet stove. After speaking to the pellet stove sales person, it was determined that our fireplace hearth had to be extended 8 inches to accommodate the stove. I made an appointment with Webster Masonary for an estimate. They arrived and looked over the two jobs and said they would call back with an estimate after they worked out the numbers. We received a call 2 days later and was told they would do the hearth for $100 and the brick repair for $400. Both repairs would be exactly half of what the first mason wanted just for the brick repair. We set a date for the repairs to begin. They arrived 15 minutes early, were neat, professional, knowledgeable, and were able to match the existing brickwork of our hearth to perfection. I am so glad I found their number and will not hesitate to call them again.
