They came in on time, and they told me what they were gonna do when doing estimate. They are very accommodating. They do a good clean up.

Came a little late of scheduled time, but got right to work. Very friendly and hard working, took about 2 hrs. Did a nice job and informed me on things I need to do/should do. Gave a reasonable estimate and took time to explain thoroughly.

They came the next day to check out the problem, then came back 2 days later and fixed it. They were very prompt and professional. The other place we used to install the chimney caps used cables that rusted out and broke. MetroWest replaced the cable with stainless steel cables, which shouldn't ever rust.

I had stainless steel chimney liners put in two properties I own, and one of them also needed to have the chimney rebuilt from the roof up. One of the liners in particular was very difficult because there were 2 gas boilers and 2 gas hot water heaters exhausting up the chimney, with low head height in the basement and a small flue. They had to custom make connectors to get everything to fit, but they ended up getting it done! I found pricing to be reasonable, I received another quote as well and went with Metrowest because they seemed very knowledgeable and the pricing was competitive.

Work has not been completed. Tried to complete job in dark work was unfinished. Sides need to be sealed. Lucas said he looked to see if it needed sealed, he said it didn't but it was in the dark. The sealing in the most important part. They did not do that. The owner, Dwane, the job they only worked 5 hours on #6, rushed the job since didn't show up until. Will give a better rating when job is complete. Owner, Dwane, did not call back and in good faith we paid him. Secretary who works for Dwane if very hostile. I will give a better job when work is completed. They also damaged a window frame with staging.

Very well Gordie was punctual, very professional and did an excellent job.

He showed up on time. Cleaned it well with no mess. Answered all my questions. Made some recommendations but no pressure. I would use them again.

Slow but steady they did an excellent job

The project went very well. Their service guy called in advance to confirm the appointment, called to confirm his arrival time and arrived on time. He took care with his equipment, acted professionally, asked questions and listened well, and took great care with his ladder to be gentle with our house. He also took pictures of the damaged and rusted chimney cap so I could see the extent of the damage (since we can't climb to the roof). He was efficient and finished the project in less time than quoted. Finally he checked in before leaving to walk through his work, answer question and what to look for in case of future problems.

They had a good price. They were very knowledgeable about chimneys. They did a lot of extra work they hadn't expected and they just did it with out complaining or asking for any more money, or anything. The interactions with them was very good. It turned out great. The guy who was here brought an assistant with him, also. He was very experienced with chimneys and very committed to the job.

The work went well. He was able to clean part of my chimney that the last guy couldn't get to and was blocked.

No-show for the appointment scheduled at 2pm.

The crew (two workers) showed up on time,did exactly what the job described. They were informative and worked efficiently and finished on time despite having to get extra parts. Good personalities too. I would hire this company again.

We found them from Angie's list last year. They did a chimney sweep, inspected, found problems, and repaired. They did a good job so we used them again today. The technician did a good job as expected. After the work, I asked him if I can get 5% off from Angie's list promotion. He said he can't. He also said I was the 7th customer who asked the same questions. I'm writing this review to avoid any further confusions for anybody including the company and old and new customers. He explained that the company had asked Angie's list to take off the promotion (5% off for chimney sweep) MULTIPLE times but they haven't removed it yet. So it's not their fault but Angie's List fault. Furthermore, there is another chimney company which has exactly the same name of "Metro West Chimney Service" in Angie's List but nothing to do with them. That company seems to be gone ending with D or F reviews due to no responses. Angie's List should check the company's status and remove it from their list. I called their office and let them know these.

Arrived on time and were nice to deal with. Would use them again.

the did my annual chimney cleaning and identified that I needed a double cap on the chimney to protect from the elements. They came back when they said and did the work. There was a bit of confusion with their office, but it all worked out

I only received one quote for this work so can't speak to how they compare to others. I did have some difficulty initially getting in touch with them and also confirming the appointment but my guess is they are a small shop. Their chimney tech (sweep?) was prompt, courteous, and honest. Inspection was done and recommendations/options were explained very clearly. We scheduled work and it was done as expected. Work came with a lifetime guarantee so I hope we don't need their services again...but if the need should arise we would absolutely call or recommend to a friend.

The job was done quickly and well. The Metro West guys were very friendly and knowledgeable. We just had our pellet stove tuned up and that service man said the chimney had been really well cleaned. Overall, very happy with Metro West--we'll definitely be calling them for chimney cleaning again next year.
