Called JV Mechanical at 8am this morning to say my 83 year old mother had a heat emergency, and was without any heat on this very cold day with snow expected. Was told they would call me to let me know when they were on their way. Shortly after noon, I received a call stating they could not come at all today; regardless of the fact that an elderly member of their own community was without heat completely. They said they could come tomorrow morning. I had now lost 4 hours in finding someone to come out and the storm had begun at this time. I called the Worcester Community Action Council to see if they could help. I live out of state and wasn’t able to get there at this point because the snow had already made the roads less than safe. The Worcester Community Action Council said that they contacted JV Mechanical and that they would be able to get to her house today after all. I was so thankful. Until I called back to confirm and was told they were sticking with their initial response of tomorrow morning. I am deeply saddened that my family has used this business in the past and they did not feel any urgency to help an 83 year old woman who lives alone in a state of emergency with absolutely no heat and the temperature below freezing during a snowstorm; especially being their office is located minutes from my mothers house. The turn of events led to my mother’s neighbor calling for an ambulance and having her removed from the home for her own safety after sitting in the home with no heat all day while JV Mechanical went back and forth on being able to arrive…and not being able to arrive. I am deeply saddened that a local business could allow this type of an emergency go without help. We will not be using JV Mechanical for this or any other problem we have now or in the future.

Went very well. Systems were installed and work as promised. They have been responsive on technical issues. I would definitely use them again.

Very fast response during winter months. Boiler replacement complete 2 days after incident. Clean, efficient, polite and great value.

The technician was extremely knowledgeable and courteous and repaired the damage in short order. I have used JV for years and would highly recommend their service.

We had recently moved into our new home and knew our boiler was very old and we'd need to replace it at some point. It was also tankless and we wanted a 40 gallon water heater like our previous home. Unfortunately, we developed a crack in the boiler that started to leak causing minor damage to our lower level. We called our Oil Company who came out immediately and used some boiler sealer to temporarily fix the crack. We asked them for an estimate and due to the high volume of work and limited staff they referred us to Victor at JV Mechanical Contractors. To our surprise he made an effort to stop by immediately and assess the situation. He provided us with an estimate and time line within 24 hrs and based on some other recommendations we went with him. Victor also told us if our boiler started to leak again before they were due to replace it he would rearrange his work load to accommodate us considering it would be an emergency at that point. Lucky for us, that didn't happen. A day prior to the scheduled job, my Dad passed away. Victor and his crew were very understanding and handled everything professionally and within the 2 days he had promised. We had also left them in our house alone which we would not normally do but under the circumstances had no choice. They were respectful and cleaned everything prior to leaving each time. Dean who also worked on our project fixed a shower valve for me when I mentioned something to Victor. It was done before he left. The crew was pleasant, professional and clearly knew what they were doing. The reason for the delay in writing this was due to personal issues we've been dealing with. However, we wanted folks to know that Victor and his crew were wonderful and we would highly recommend them.

They were here on time and finished the work within one day. They answered all my questions before they came to install the system. They were great and it has been working great ever since. They have never had to come back either. They are top shelf guys.

We had a failure. It was an emergency repair. They came quickly and came with the correct equipment. Then we were back in business.

They are experts and very professional. They are the ones we call when we have complicated projects.

They gave us a price over the phone. The fella came out and did the work. It took him a couple of hours. The service turned out great and we had no issue with them. Their pricing was reasonable as well.

We were referred by another plumber after 3 other companies were unable to respond due to the deep freeze. We got a call back and were promised service the same day. Within an hour, the plumber was here! The plumber was friendly, professional and efficient. Problem solved!

JV Mechanical is totally professional and did a fantastic job. They helped design the system, completely removing and installing the new system nice and neatly.
