REGAN SEPTIC PUMPING

After complaining about a bad experience with an employee, the inspection report I paid $1,650 for was “lost in the mail” and since they will not email any reports as a rule I was faced with a disruption in my home sale. Very disappointed that the business I used for years has become so subpar.

The job went very smoothly. They were appreciative of our work to clear plants away from the septic tank covers. Very professional, efficient in their work. No problems at all. Not sure how competitive their rate is in comparison to others, but we have used their services several times and they have bee great.

Angie's list should just toss out the lone F rating that Regan got back in 2015. The claimant seemed to have a valid complaint - i.e. phone call not returned. But stuff happens. He should have called back and insisted on a reply. Every time I've called them, someone answers, which is not the average when you call these septic guys. And based on the overcharge complaint, knowing Regan, the bill was not a perceived overcharge but was a billing for exactly the service the system no doubt required. Furthermore this is a family operation that has been in business for at least two generations and has always been one of the "more reasonably priced" septic service providers for years by the Town of Weston, their neighboring town. The woman I spoke to at the Board of Health had been there 16 years and knows the company well. The very solid owner is John Regan, who back in 2000 pointed me in the right direction after we found a leak in the external pipe - see next paragraph Furthermore there is another company in Regan Septic's hometown of Wayland, named Wayland Excavating, formerly owned by John Regan's brother, but now own by John's nephew. Wayland Excavating does septic system repairs, and they repaired out system 18 years ago and did a fabulous, professional job. So both companies are highly recommended. I called Regan Septic today for pumping service, and they showed up 3 hours later - top notch friendly, husky and professional drivers, who finished the job in 30 minutes. They charge $325 for a 1000 gallon tank + $18 for every foot they have to dig. In my case it was only 6" In summary, go with them and have no fears.

Fine. Showed up on time (actually a little early), did the job, made a couple of helpful recommendations, and was neat and clean.

I am new to having a septic system and I gave Regan a call based on Angie's list reviews. I wanted to know what I need to do to properly maintain/pump my system. Pamela spent so much time on the phone with me answering what may be silly questions. I am grateful for her time and will be calling Regan again in the spring to schedule a pumping of our system. I was also concerned about an occasional stinky smell that we smell in our home in the basement and occasionally outside. She gave me some great tips and made me realize that it may be coming from the trap in an unused utility sink. Thank you Pamela! I will be calling you guys in the spring.

The septic tank serves a duplex. My neighbor was overseas, and not available to observe the pumping. I live in NY, and my real estate management company (RE/MAX) coordinated on the service on my behalf. So - no owner was present for the pumping. RE/MAX "just paid the bill" when it came in, and netted it versus my rent payment received. I didn't receive the invoice until I got my statement for the month of July. Imagine my surprise when Regan charged me $160 EXTRA, for flush-able wipes, and purported grease?!? That is a 40 percent surcharge, over the regular pumping charge. I called Regan and left a voice-mail message, asking him to explain to me the rationale for the surcharge. I never received a return phone call. In my opinion: he knew he was working with a real estate management company, and that they would just pay whatever bill came in. So he took advantage of the situation, and gouged me for another $160. He is NOT reputable... I'll never use him again.

These guys are amazing! They were early and apologized if it created an issue for me! Pleasant, thorough, cleaned up and provided nothing short of a professional attitude. AND they are Veterans (always a plus to me!). I would HIGHLY recommend to friends.

Routine pumping of 1500 gallon septic tank. The person from Regan was on time, professional. He had to locate the cover of the septic tank and open it up (he already had property plan from the town). While doing the pumping he did visual inspection of the tank and explained results to me. Everything was quick and uneventful and he restored the lawn to its original state. Price seemed fair (I compared with a few other companies)

I called for the first time after owning the house for five years. The woman I spoke to was very helpful in letting me know what the work would involve and gave me a very accurate price estimate. Because I was going out of town at the time the bill would arrive, I arranged for the cost to be put on my credit card. I think it was the next day that the crew arrived. I had no recollection of where the access was, but they had no problem finding it, and removed some sod to access it, and did a very quick and neat job. The lawn looks great, and according to the invoice I received, it looks like they're set to return in four years.

I needed to coordinate the Title V inspection for my parents' home, and called the company they had always used for routine pumping. The office there was so unhelpful that I decided to look for an alternative. John Regan was so highly rated that I gave him a call. He was driving when I reached him, but was so knowledgable and pleasant that I hired him. From that point on the process went flawlessly, with no effort on my part! I was amazed at how promptly it was all handled and his fees were lower than those of the other company.

I needed my septic tank inspected and pumped on fairly short notice. As I have not owned a home with a septic system previously, I was somewhat at a loss as to where to begin. Based on good reviews, and proximity, I cold-called Regan Septic. They were able to swing by the same afternoon to check things out, and pump out the next morning. So, they were fast, thorough, and pleasant. Quite happy with their service.

He helped us coordinate with a specialist for our problem and was very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend. I plan to use Regan in the future for any further needs.

They provided phenomenal services. They did fine, and put everything back the way it was suppose to be. I would recommend Regan, and give him all A's.

The job went well. Office staff was courteous. Job was performed as planned and was well executed.

The owner, John Regan and his helper showed up the same morning that I called his office. They were very tidy and fast. I bought this property just a year ago, and did not know much about septic systems. John was very generous with his time and answered every question in detail.

They were excellent. Two guys came right on time. They had never been to the house before, so they went to the Board of Health the day before the visit to pull a map of where the tank was in the yard. They had to dig two feet to get to the tank. They pumped it out thoroughly and then put in a mirror to inspect the walls of the tank. They told me that I could reduce the digging fee in future pumps if I extended the cover 18'', so it was 6'' below ground and not 2 feet. They didn't have the cap extender with them, but they returned that afternoon as promised and extended the cover, then filled the hole. I'll certainly use them again.
