Description of Work: While they accomplished the task, in the process they broke my neighbor's AC unit because they started working on the wrong one and when they reversed course they put it back together wrong. They were called back and worked on it again, only for it to be still broken. They blocked the entire main thoroughfare with their equipment instead of using our side street for some reason. Finally, they destroyed the door to the roof deck trying to jam the new AC unit through. Of course they didn't bring up/ correct any of this proactively. And for the pleasure of all the above they charged an astronomical price (which I agreed to ahead of time, though would have expected good service for this price). Beware.

Description of Work: came out after 3 phone calls.tore my house apart trying to find a broken water pipe.was at my house for over 8 hours and refused to clean up the mess he made.

Description of Work: Provided a bid at least twice as high as alternative so I didn't follow closely. Otherwise I liked Winter their bid and the process. The bid was simply twice as high as others available. I would not venture any information about their service because we are not going to use it.

Description of Work: I called Winters Company for my clogged bathroom sink because I had a coupon. Winters Company could not fit me in that day, unless I wanted to pay an extra $125.00 for an emergency call. I asked what is the price for a non-emergency call for a clogged bathroom sink and I was told the receptionist didn't have that information. That should have been a sign to call some other vendor. Instead I waited until noon the following business day when the contractor arrived as scheduled, took a long time surveying the pipes and back and forth to the truck, finally agrees to snake the drain, for a price of $325.00!!! I gasped at the amount and asked how long it would take and what kind of equipment. I was not satisfied with the reason for this high price so he politely and quickly left. I proceeded to call 2 other drain cleaning companies who were prompt within the hour and the quote was half what Winters Co. charged.

Description of Work: Winters replaced a failing water heater. They responded immediately even though the problem occurred on a weekend. They explained all the options to us and lent us a temporary heater for a couple of days until they were able to install the replacement.

Description of Work: Serviced a/c unit

Description of Work: We had a leak in an upstairs toilet - they came over on a Sunday night because the leak was leaking from the second floor into the first floor bathroom. They opened up the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom, located where the leak was coming from, turned off the water upstairs. They came back the next day and offered to re-seat the toilet for $250. I had them replace it instead with a high-efficiency toilet that is impossible to stop up. They also disposed of the old toilet at no charge. There was an emergency weekend service charge.

Description of Work: THEY REPLACED THE PVC PIPE ON THE EXTERIOR OF MY HOUSE.

Description of Work: THEY INSTALLED A BRAND NEW BOILER, REMOVED THE OLD CAST IRON BOILER AND ASBESTOS, CHECKED THE CHIMNEY, INSTALLED A MAKE-UP AIR FAN (THEN MOVED IT WHEN I REQUESTED IT BE MOVED TO ANOTHER SPOT), AND REPLACED ALL THE VENTS ON THE RADIATORS.
