Chris arrived early, looked at the project for about 10 minutes and gave me some pointers on what to do to resolve it. Rather than schedule the work to be done & charge me their flat minimum, he chose to advise me on how to fix the issue myself. Chris obviously values his own time as well as that of his clients. If we ever need more major work done, Sir Grout will be the first company we will reach out to.

Work was completed in a timely and professional manner. We were very pleased with the job performed.

I contacted the company in late June. An appointment was scheduled for July 1 for an estimate. The work was performed yesterday (8/27/2015) and was completed to my satisfaction. The shower tiles were so bad that I didn't think it would look as good as it looked when they finished, I was, and still am amazed. Great job!

It couldn't have gone better. The owner showed up as promised for the estimate and even took off his shoes before stepping ion to the house. The technician also showed up on time and did a wonderful job. Both were very pleasant and professional. The price was high but you get what you pay for.

We were very impressed with Sir Grout-- Chris, the owner, was very professional and helpful, and the two guys here, Chris and Rico, were hard-working and cared about doing a great job, which they did. They were here for about 5 hours, regularly checking in as they went, and transformed our floors, which were starting to look cracked and old, even though they had been installed new only 3 years before-- the contractor didn't know how to use the grout correctly on the floors-- ugh. Anyway, a huge difference. Now we have our bathrooms back. I do feel the price is on the high side, but given the scope and quality of work, we were willing to pay it and so pleased with the results.

After several consultations about a water leak that was going through my bath-tub, and after it was determined that this was not due to piping troubles, I consulted tile specialists who wanted to take apart and re-do the entire tiling in my master bathroom shower. Chris was different. He carefully listened to my concerns, and proposed fixing only what was necessary for a fraction of the price I had been quoted before. He ended up steam cleaning, hand buffing, and sealing the tiles in the entire shower. Nothing had to be replaced. The work did the job. No more leaks since. Chris is a competent, sensitive professional with excellent communication skills. He was sensitive enough to take off his shoes when stepping into my bath tub to take a close look at the work to be done. This was a first for me, and I really appreciated it. He even gave me some advice on a couple of unrelated issues I was having with my toilet flush. I feel I have found a resource and someone I can go back to in the future with any tile problems that may come up.

Sir Grout was extremely responsive and professional. The estimate was fair and fast, the technician was polite, thorough and respectful of my home. I would definitely use them again.

Chris was very prompt, courteous and professional and followed up on the job to make sure I was satisfied. The service person was prompt polite and neat. My tile floors look brand new. Great experience.

Excellent service on all fronts, from initial contact to follow-up to make sure service was what we wanted/expected. I'm critical of any work done at my home and Sir Grout was extremely thorough and professional. I was consulted from time to time on matters, such as matching grout color, and when the job was done, Chris thoroughly explained the do's and don'ts of granite, products to use/not to use, etc. The technicians were very pleasant in their manner, answered my myriad questions expertly and all in all the experience was A+.

The owner, Chris Wyand arrived promptly at the scheduled time and provided a thorough explanation of the quote. On the scheduled work day, two technicians, Chris and Rigo arrived at the scheduled time. They entered the front door and immediately removed their shoes at the front door before entering so as to not track dirt. except for a brief break, they worked hard from start to finish, approximately 5.5 hours. The lead technician, Chris (not the owner) made sure we were informed of their progress from start to finish and that we were happy with the end results. They took great care in cleaning up after themselves before they left. The Sir Grout technicians were professional and a pleasure to work with and the results were amazing! All the mold was gone. It looked like a brand new shower! We couldn't be happier. We would definitely recommend Sir Grout in Watertown without hesitation.

I had tried caulking my bathtub several times, and I even hired a plumber to do the job. Neither the plumber nor I could get the caulk to stick, and after a month or two of a fairly useless bathtub, I was getting desperate for a solution. Sir Grout came in and suggested that maybe the caulk wasn't sticking because water was getting in through the grout. So, they fixed the grout and the caulk. They were prompt and professional, squeezing me into their schedule without much notice, which I greatly appreciated after trying to fix the problem myself for so long. It's over a month later now and the caulk hasn't come loose and still looks great. Thanks!

After reading Angie's List reviews of Sir Grout and calling for an appointment, Chris (owner) came to our home to review the work we wanted done. He immediately followed up with very specific estimates for each room and each procedure in a proposed scope of services. He was very direct about the outcomes he believed he could provide, not trying to sell us something that he couldn't do well. For the "worst" of my bathroom floors he told me that he couldn't really change the appearance of the tile because it wouldn't hold a new application of grout for any length of time, but did indicate that he could definitely clean it up and re-grout in some limited places where the grout would adhere. In fact, that's what happened and it looks a whole lot better. For the other two bathrooms he said he could re-grout that particular tile, along with cleaning it up. For the kitchen - more recent tiles - he said there would be no problem to clean and re-grout. On the day of the scheduled service, his two technicians arrived promptly. They were courteous, professional and hard-working. With the exception of a brief lunch break, they never stopped working. When they started the re-grout on the first of the two bathroom floors that Chris believed could hold the grout, they told me that in fact this wouldn't work because of the nature of the tile. They called Chris ,who was not on site, to request that he come to our house and discuss their observation and make a final determination. Chris came and confirmed they were correct. They said they could still clean and seal the floors and it would make some difference, just not as dramatic as I had hoped. I appreciated their honesty and I agreed that I wanted to go ahead and do the more limited work. They adjusted the price from the original estimate to my satisfaction. Having such a specific contract with prices for each task to be completed made it easy for me to understand how they determined the price reduction. Because of the age and condition of the bathroom tiles, the kitchen floor turned out to be the only room that Sir Grout was able to do everything I wanted - and it came out great. The quality of work performed and the work ethic of Chris and his employees was impressive. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.

The Sir Grout crew was punctual and professional. They were unable to reuse some of the tiles that had lifted, so they used a spare one I had. They added a free cleaning of my bathroom granite vanity top, which was very nice to have it as clean and well cared for as the floors. I was very happy with their service.

Chris was very nice and honest. He could have easily sold us an expensive project and left if we chose not to use him. Instead, he told us it would not be worth paying for his services and proceeded to write up a page-long care instructions. If we ever really needed him, we would use Sir Grout again in a heartbeat because of how trustworthy he proved to be.

It only took a few hours and my appointment was actually bumped up to an earlier date. If you are disappointed with your tiles or grout, call them before consulting any "tile" experts.

It went very well. The scale in the grout lines was removed and the entire pan was scrubbed clean (by hand!). I was advised on how to keep it clean and what to do to avoid another case of buildup. Super courteous and hard working. Highly recommended.

Sir Grout was one of the best contractors I have ever worked with! 1. The estimate was extremely professional. They were able to provide me with an accurate estimate on the spot. Additionally, they were able to schedule me for the work right at the initial estimate! Every other place would give me an estimate 5-7 days after seeing the work and then take forever to schedule. This was immediate. It was so easy to get it scheduled! 2. The guy was going to be about 10 minutes late. He actually called about half an hour before to tell me that he was worried about the traffic and just wanted to let me know. He showed up on time anyways. I've never had a contractor actually be this considerate of my time. 3. The work was done in a day. Additionally, before I even got home from work, the company had sent me before and after pictures of the work they had done. It was so impressive! 4. The actual work- The bathroom looks brand new! I've had it for 6 months now and it all seems to be holding up very well. Overall, I am extremely happy with this company.

The woman on the phone was RUDE when I asked for a quote to have our kitchen floor that is made of stone, cleaned. She said that she couldn't do that and that they would have to go out to the house. She said that they had a $500 minimum for a job. I said, "oh, well it's not that big of a space so I don't think we would need to, for it's not a $500 job.' She was snarky and rude in her response and said "Well, we HAVE $500 minimum. She her demeanor on the phone was condescending and rude!!!

The bathroom was tired and gross looking and I wanted to buy myself some time before remodeling. The job on the grout on the tub surround was excellent. The floor looks better but not perfect. It is coloring existing grout lines free hand so grout lines were probably not perfect to begin with. It is a good temporary fix.

Chris was professional, responsive and punctual. He completed the work as promised and the result was excellent. The color of the slate is now uniform and the cloudy areas are gone. I will be using him for annual maintenance of the patio. He is extremely knowledgable regarding products and materials.

Sir Grout did a wonderful job re-grouting the tile in my shower and cleaning the existing grout and tile. The technician was VERY thorough. They care about their work and it shows in the finished product (our shower looks brand new). They are also very accomodating and were able to come to our house with less than two weeks notice to get the job done in advance of our move-in date. Highly recommended. Well worth the cost and much more budget-savy than actually re-tiling a bathroom (or even worse - doing it yourself).

I was referred to Chris by a local hardware store. Chris was very responsive and very professional. He visited my house 2 weeks ago and provided a quote for the work he was going to perform. He showed up on time for the quote and the day he completed the work. He removed old caulking from the tub/tile shower surround, steam cleaned the joint and recaulked all of the required joints. Chris worked quickly professionally and cleaned up well after the work was completed. If you need to have your tub/shower recaulked, I would recommend him. Thanks Chris.

From the start, Chris and team were the epitome of professionalism. Service was flawless and I saw a real difference. In one instance (fixing some inconsistencies with my sink) Chris and team weren't able to fully execute what they had promised in the work order. Chris was up front about this and was able to seal and protect the counter from further damage. When it came to the price for this part of the work, Chris basically left it up to me to pay what I thought was fair. A first-class experience. I'd absolutely use them again.
