Description of Work: I paid for the Big deal which was for 40 hours, but the workers came at 8:30 and left at 12:30. There were 6 of them. They also took a lunch. I said this is supposed to be 40 hrs. 5 people for 8 hours but he said I have 6. They were here for 4 hours. They did a lot of work and were polite. I had to go out and tell them I wanted the dead branches off. I am not sure they were done. Mostly I was happy with the work but, disappointed that I did not get the hours and on top of it I had to give him a large check to pay for the trash removal. I think it should have been noted in the add that the dump charges 500$ I was not that upset with the work but I was disappointed that more wasn't done. I do think there was a language barrier.

Description of Work: This was an Angie's List deal, so the price was great, for lawn aeration and "overseeding". They were on time, but I am somewhat upset because in the course of the work two branches on a nice dogwood tree were broken -- the guy with the machine was too rough. Really a B minus or a C plus.

Description of Work: I needed my hedges and a bunch of bushes cut back and a branch that got knocked out of whack secured back to a huge bush. They came right on time and I left them to it and when I got home I was so happy. My yard looked fantastic!

Description of Work: Roberto and his team came out to trim my hedges and do a general cleanup of my back yard/garden area. They were great. Got right to work and did a fabulous job in a short period of time! I'm definitely hiring them again for tree-trimming this Fall.

Description of Work: The employees of this company arrived ahead of time and were very prompt and courteous. They indicated my yard was way smaller than the 5,000 sf in the special for aeration and over seeding. They recommended fertilizing for $80. Even though I know I could buy fertilizer for $15, I fell for the offer. I feel that if my small area of grass was well below the 5,000, the fertilizer should have been offered for way less.

Description of Work: They arrived later than they said they would. They called me to ask the cross street, and were quite gruff on the phone. Four men came, and I asked them to trim the bushes in the front and back. They sawed off the bushes, but did not really clean up well, leaving lots of stems hanging off the bushes. They had not told me to provide my own leaf bags, and when I didn't have enough, they asked for plastic bags, and I later had to move everything to leaf bag myself (or they would not be picked up in my town). I thought they would provide the bags. Some of the bushes in the back are quite uneven. Overall, I had the feeling that they didn't really know what they were doing.

Description of Work: Work was quickly scheduled and their office was very helpful answering question. The crew arrived on time and worked non-stop. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Garden weeding. Went fine, but came with no weeding tools--just by hand. I gave them weeding tools to help ensure roots were removed... Resulted in hiring them for snow removal...but, when I asked, he said he had no contract to offer for snow removal service, but serves my area and four other neighboring areas, which his website confirms. I am hopeful he will honor his snow removal promise and price quote, as he stated he wants to maintain a good reputation with Angie's List.

Description of Work: 1. Schedule seems OK with my requested date, but didn't provide follow up quote, since they told me need pay extra on 8/21. I got call on 8/21, only a bulk part, no details. I asked for details, got answer yes, on 8/24, still no details. 2. price is very high. What I was told it the extra part would cost $600+ for clean up. I did got other company did the clean up job for half the price. 3. Have a communication problem. I have a difficult time to understand the person on the phone. So far, I can't wait for their work, so have to find some one else or by myself. With their high price, I'd like to cancel the the deal and got refund. Please let me know. Thanks. Description of Work: $99 for 4 hours of pruning. 3 guys showed up and worked very hard for 1.5 hours. Very professional, excellent work, pruning and shaping several overgrown bushes and small trees. Hired them again to do more landscaping work. Very pleased.

Description of Work: Called Roberto requesting an appointment for a complete sod installation on front yards. Roberto came over that day and gave me an estimate which we thought was a decent price. Installed sod in 1 days notice - looks great and will hire him for summer lawn care.
