This is an honest hard-working family business that provides excellent results at a reasonable price in a timely manner. Finding a dependable contractor is hard, however, working with Jose Ruiz was a pleasure. He's very knowledgeable about tree removal and landscaping. And he's honest, too! Jose managed to squeeze me into his schedule, which I greatly appreciated. His crew is VERY professional. They arrived on time, were fast, and cleaned the yard so nicely, that you wouldn't have known they were even here. The results look so nice that I want Jose to come back in the spring to help me with mulching and landscaping. I highly recommend calling Jose if you have trees to remove or landscaping needs. His company, Roberto Affordable Landscaping does A+ work and won't disappoint you.

Jose and team did a wonderful job on my lawn! They were able to accommodate me the day after I contacted them, which is a big plus. They showed up on time, did the work efficiently, and gave me a great price. I'll be hiring them again for my fall clean-up and gutters.

Good points: After almost 2 weeks of trying to get quotes, I got 1 , reasonably priced but 2 weeks wait. Affordable called at 6:30 pm as they were returning from quoting on the Cape. Stopped and looked at the job and said that he would have a crew there the next morning. The quote was ridiculous, more than double the other one. However, this was negotiable (old school) so after a period of horse trading the price was down to about 25% above the other, and a 5 man crew was there the next morning.

4 men worked very quickly, very friendly, respectful did very good job. Would use again.

I live in London for most time due to work. Hence I was looking for a relatable contractor who I could hire for long term. I was very very disappointed with this firm. Roberto seemed responsive initially but wasn’t willing to give details or breakup of services. He proposed to charge me 1500 for yard cleanup and then after a lot of negotiation he brought it down to 1100. I knew it was still very high. The irony was at the same time he had (still has) an online deal or coupon which offered 8 hrs of yard clean up work for just 329!! When I challenged him and asked for clarification on why he was trying to charge me 4 times while offering such deals online. he stopped responding properly and I was sure he felt he could take me for a ride just because I was living overseas. I have decided to not to use his services. Cannot trust such firms and misleadings.

Called within an hour and the job was complete same day. Very professional crew and did exactly what I wanted them to do.

I have been using Roberto's Affordable Landscaping for about a year now. They are a great company to deal with and Roberto leads by example. I recently had them do a very large job in my back yard where I had poison Ivy, allot of small tree's, and overgrown weeds. They cleared it out and even placed all the medium sized rocks in a neat pile in the back corner. I would highly recommend using them for any lawn care, weekly mowing, and large landscape project you would need

I purchased one of Roberto's four hour yard work deals for $169. I heard from the company almost immediately and we agreed on both the work to be done and a day for it to be done via email. The work team showed up on time but did not have the equipment needed to trim the bushes. When I expained what I wanted done they said it would be extra - $400 in total. At that point I said no thanks. After two calls from the crew to the boss (I assume) they told me the original price of $169 was good and they went to get the necessary equipment. I was very satisfied with the work, including a good job of cleaning up after themselves. I did not like being put in the position of having to negotiate on price when that had already been determined. For that reason I have rated very low on professionalism. This also includes the fact that they didn't originally have the equipment needed. I would likely use them again but would be VERY clear up front about scope of work and price.

Took down 1 tall pine and 1 large oak along with 4 smaller trees. Took 1 day. Did great.

Excellent service and result provided by Roberto's Affordable Landscaping. Jose and his team are incredibly responsive, respectful, and hard working. They completed a huge job in 2.5 days - would have taken me a year to do without them. Our yard looks as good as it has since we moved in. I would hire them again - and intend to do so next year. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

With all the usual shovelers traveling, or just back from surgery we needed someone to step in to handle the biggest storm of the year. They managed the high touch and pain addled customer very well, in addition to dealing well with the changes in storm schedule, and changes in travel schedules by condo residents during the storm. They deserve a big thank you for stepping up when we weren't able to fend for ourselves on such short notice.

Affordable Landscaping responded to my request within 2 hours and actually confirmed doing the work the following day. They arrived on time, did the work quickly, clean up well and performed a few more jobs at an competitive price. I would definitely hire them again.

I recently performed a large cleanup and pruning of my garden, which resulted in a very large pile of branches that needed to be removed. I called a few companies but Roberto returned my call immediately and sent his crew first thing the next morning. The workers were extremely fast, polite, attentive, and cleaned up perfectly after the job was completed. It was a great experience and I will hire them again in the future.

Roberto kept scheduling appointments with me for landscaping that he failed to keep. He either had the wrong address, phone number or misinformation between him and his scheduler. Finally, after several failed appointments, he informed me wouldn't keep the last we had some rescheduled last Saturday and he no longer wanted to fulfill his commitment to me.

I hired Roberto's Landscaping to do some basic lawn work. I found them to be extremely responsive - very good in terms of communication and setting up a time for the work. I wasn't at home when they did the work but it appeared to be very thorough with a good amount of seed spread across my lawn. The price was extremely fair and I would definitely use them again.

It went really well! He explained to me what I needed and what to do to maintain it. I will hire him as my regular lawn maintenance guy! I wasted a lot of money with Lawn Doctor no more! Can’t wait til next year to see the results.
