Roberto's Affordable Landscaping

This is the second time we did a work with them. They came without any tools to do the job. We actually have to provide the things that they need for the service. It was a horrible experience.

Prompt & efficient. They didn't use a crane, but had a climber who cut the tree down in sections. They stacked the wood neatly and cleaned up after themselves.

The commitment they had promised was not fulfilled.

They were very good at making arrangement by email. We agreed on a date and time. They didn't show up. Didn't respond to emails or phone. Then sent an email there was a mistake; tried to reschedule. Again no show. I'm giving up on Angie's Deals. Rarely works out...

I hired him for a Big Deal. He did come promptly in the Fall, but after SIX messages over the past three weeks, I've gotten no response for him to come complete there remaining hours.

IT DIDN'T. HE NEVER BOTHERED TO EVEN RESPOND, YET I HAD TO PAY UP FRONT!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON HIM!

Very professional all done in one day. Exspected damage to my lawn from anyone who took the the job but it was minimal. Going to hire them for some front yard landscaping

Excellent work -- this is the fourth time I've hired them and every time things go well. Only reason they received a "B" for Professionalism is that there was some miscommunication regarding scheduling.

endor emailed on the morning of service saying the could not come due to wet weather. I have been in touch multiple times to request rescheduling and the vendor has not responded.

They are very professional and did exactly want I asked. I would definitely hire them again.

It took 3 weeks to get a response after leaving multiple messages. The deal included "removal of dead wood". When I told them I had small dead branches that needed to be removed, they said there would be an additional charge to remove the branches. I explained the branches were approx. 2 feet long and only 1/2" to 2" in diameter, but they said there would still be an additional charge. I'm amazed to see the same deal offered again today that still includes "dead wood removal". This is exactly the type of company that should not be on Angie's List offering a "special deal". Terrible!

Good. There were three workers for an hour and twenty minutes to do the work and clean up.

Very frustrating from scheduling (was a no-show for a confirmed appointment) to "demand estimate" (this work will be $1200) to arguing about the time the team worked. 4 hours of work = 2 men x 2 hours, not 2 men x 1.5 hours.

Excellent. We had to change the date many times and they were always accommodating and they did a phenomenal job.

I needed to reach out several ttimes to secure a time. it is not advertised that you have to bring your own lawn bags. Thankfully I have reached out and asked prior to the work being done. They should be in the disclosures

Roberto and his workers showed up on time and finished everything on my list within the one hour I had contracted for. They were eager to please and worked hard. Communication prior to the appointment was excellent.

The workers did a fantastic job. They were pleasant and did the work without complaint. All I had to do was point out what had to be done, and they did the rest.

Roberto and his crew were professional and punctual; they did a fabulous job for me turning my yard into a beautifully landscaped showplace.

Following the scheduling protocol offered after ordering, we settled upon a 10am to 12 noon window for service. At 11:45 I called the company to see when they would be coming. I had to leave a message with an answering machine. They finally contacted me at noon and I was able to stay home long enough after to explain the simple work I needed. When the company representatives finally showed up, they asked for $500 more to complete the minimal work. I did not accept. Absolutely terrible.

the work was done and completed very well. Cleaned up the work area and piled up the branches that needed to be disposed.

Had to keep emailing to set a date. Cancelled once last minute. Told them a specific time we agreed upon bc I work the night shift but they came 4 hours early. They also left early so I actually did not get the full value but that was my fault bc I did not want to check before leaving Since I had not slept and had to get back to bed before picking up kids and go back to work. Two workers worked very hard while the fourth was on the phone the whole time. Thankfully my neighbors saw them the whole time and said how the they left early etc

Horribly. The initial response was good. Trying to get a confirmed date was almost impossible. I ended up calling Angie's List to help me. DON'T BUY LABOR HOURS!!! I Gave the types of jobs and asked for the number of hours for each job but Roberto refused to break it down. I bought $1,499 worth of labor hours and $149 worth of yard clean up hours. So how are you supposed to know what can be done for how many hours and make a decision if Roberto refuses to break down the jobs by labor hours?! He shouldn't sell hours if he can't tell you how many hours each project will be. He didn't like that I was supplying my own materials and told me he only had a push lawnmower so the yard would take longer to mow. He gives me a total price of over $5,000 and doesn't break it down by job or hours so it was impossible to decide which job to do for my $1,499 and $149 of LABOR HOURS. Don't sell hours if you can't tell people how many hours the jobs will take. It was so frustrating. Then in the end he tells me it's too far to do the work. I kept demanding a breakdown of hours because that's what I paid for but he just refused to do it. There is a very large language barrier also, with very little English spoken by him and his crew. I travel to Europe and don't mind working language out but it really was a problem. I ended up calling Angie's List to get a full refund and told them to please explain that when a company sells labor hours they have to tell you how many hours each job is so you know which jobs you can get done. DONT BUY LABOR HOURS!!!!
