Roberto's Affordable Landscaping

Roberto and his crew are fantastic. I hired them at first for a cleanup, but then hired them again to replace my horrible lawn with Sod, and then have had them come on a bi monthly basis for lawn mowing, trimming and cleanup. They are efficient, and always do a great job - at a really good price.

I bought a deal on Angie's list for cleaning and shrub removal. All the work was performed as offered and I was very happy with the outcome or our front garden and backyard.

Not organized or clear in their services and communication

After several follow up attempts via email and angie's list message system to schedule the service, I tried call. Voicemail was consistently full for weeks. After about 8 weeks, they finally did the service. It took 20 min,

The company never did the work . They try to over charge me

The crew did all of the work in one day and the yard looks spectacular. They were prompt, professional and didn't leave a trace.

It went very well, the grass peeked out just before the first freeze, and should be great in the spring.

Great experience working with Roberto & his crew. They were very proactive after I purchased the Angies list voucher emailing to schedule a time to come complete the work before the snow comes. They came with a group and were prepared to take down 3 trees (one that had branches hanging over a neighbors yard!!) and they worked through the tight situations without incident. They have been thorough cleaning up the yard. Great experience all around.

Super job! He came out to give me a quote and when we agreed on the price he started immediately! He and his crew cleaned up areas that I did not even ask for!! I would (will) hire him again!

However, there had been a mix up and my weekly grass cutting company had collected all the leaves and left the bags. When Roberto's people came over, they had only removed the bags, but not done the work. I only found this out when I got a bill from my regular guy. When I called Roberto, he did agree that his people had not done my fall cleanup but only removed the bags of leaves from the house. So Roberto agreed to roll-over $140 for another service. Refused to give back the money. I asked him to provide the service this year by Nov 30th. He has NOT sent his people nor done the work. I have asked for the $140 refund. No response yet.

No work was done, showed up on time, said the don't haul away trees and that i lost my money. From professional service i would have expected at least an initial inquiry of what exactly needs to be done, and put exact wording in advertisement that "tree removal" means "only tree cutting" and not hauling away.

He made an appointment with me . Then never showed up and did not call either . When I final got in touch with him again he said he was there at my house and no one answered the door . I was home all day waiting. He said he tryied calling but no one answer the phone . I said to him if u were at my house what color is it . He could not answer me . I hired him for four hours for $169 , after I described the work to him he wanted $500 dollar . Then he called me to schedule an appointment he then changed the price to $800 dollars . This company is not honorable and should not be use by anyone

Very scary! Because my tree exceeded the height limit, a new price was agreed upon (without the Groupon) even though the Groupon supposedly had the value that exceeded the agreed upon price. It seemed to me that this organization does not understand how Groupon works. I paid the new price to have it done because they were here. Then, without any safety equipment (or insurance?), a member of the crew removed his shoes and climbed the tree, tied to a chainsaw by a rope, which he used to cut down the tree. Luckily, nothing worrisome happened. By the time they left THEY DID cut down my tree, THEY DID cut the tree into manageable pieces, and THEY DID clean up the area.

I was severely over charged for some additional work. I purchased 4 hours of tree work and p[aid extra for some additional work. The price for the additional work was excessive.

Nice Guy and responsive, but it was bait and switch. Instantly tried to get me to order more business. Ad said tree removal, but he said that only means to another part of my property, not off the property. He decided it wasn't worth his while to drive the distance to my house and do the 4 hours of light work. I don't think he's a tree guy, he's more of a landscaper. At least I was able to get my money back.

went well, promptly did the work, and did not do any damage, price was good, communications very good, could have done a bit more in the trim process to even out the dead branches.

This is a terrible company and they should be removed from Angie's List. They refused to do the work and would only remove one shrub for the four hours of service. This was unacceptable to me and I told him he was being reported to Angie's List. I will not pay this company and would encourage all others to avoid this service. Not Angie's List quality.

It took days of follow up to get a return call, as their service is managed on a cell phone which was too full to accept messages. Finally I connected with a person by texting to the number. It then took days for the crew to visit, as Roberto arrived with a few members of his group. By the time they arrived our paint contractor had taken it upon himself to cut back the branches we originally wanted removed. While Roberto was on site, we discussed removing two trees, and I told him I would get back to him. Again I went into the cell phone problem, so I texted and received a follow up call. I explained to the woman who had called that we decided to have the two trees removed in the spring, and that we would like to use the four hours to cut the grass on our property and remove leaves to the extent of the 4 hour contract. I was told Roberto's would send someone two days later, on friday, 11-17. Today Roberto called to say he had been told he had an appointment, but I had not called him to tell him our plan. I reminded him of my call to his "office number". He said he would be charging more money, to which I replied I had paid for four hours of his service. He told me he would not come to our property, to which I replied I wanted my money back.

I called Roberto, he came within 3h to look at the work to be done. 2 days later the team came over and tackled the job. I had a lot of trees down, this winter made a big mess. After a few hours my garden looked so cleaned and tidy. It s my second time using Affordable landscaping for big jobs and they are amazing. I hired them to take care of my lawn this spring summer. I recommend them with 100% confidence.
