Very well. They arrived on time, were very efficient and left the house nice and spotlessly clean. Would like to call them back for a deep spring clean in 2016.

Cleaners would come with their own tools and cleaning products. OK with using specific product as long as I supplied it. Cleaned floors, furniture, kitchen and bathrooms... Dusted pictures and decorative objects. Never had breakage in 2.5 years. Even cleaned frig and straightened pantry items on shelves. Excellent and trustworthy.

Excellent experience from the very beginning - I purchased a Big Deal on Angie's List, and Vera (owner) contacted me right away to set up the appointment date. They texted me the night before the appointment to confirm the job, and arrived on time. For our ~2500 square foot townhouse, 3 cleaners came and it took them about 3 hours. They had all their own cleaning supplies, and were efficient and organized, working very well as a team (one of the cleaners seemed to be the leader and doled out the responsibilities for each room). The quality of the cleaning was very good. They dusted areas that had never been dusted, and cleaned our window blinds reasonably well. I was hoping for a somewhat deeper cleaning of our showers (our master bathroom is a tiled shower and there is some nastiness in the grout that still remained) as well as our windowsills. Other than that, we were very pleased and asked about how to sign up for a longer term contract for their services (however, because of limited English skills, we were instructed to call later).

.I called a couple of different companies on short notice to perform a move-in deep cleaning of the house we just bought. This company answered the phone was able to book me immediately, unlike half a dozen others I called. After talking about the size of the house, I was provided an estimate of $250-$350, depending on how long it would take. They agreed to bring all cleaning supplies and do a deep clean prior to our move in. Two cleaners arrived on time with minimal supplies (lysol, bathroom cleaner, rags, a vacuum). They did a light once-over of the place in 2-1/2 hours, and then said they were all done, and asked for $350. We said that sounded a little high ($70/hr per person for housecleaning?) The cleaner showed me the text message she received from her boss, showing that she was promised $350. We paid and they left quickly. We looked around the place to evaluate the work done. Floors looked fine, but kitchen had only been wiped down; grime & sticky spots on cabinets inside & out from previous owners' cooking, many doors in the house had grimy handles and areas around the handles where years of people's hands had left their toll. When we noticed these things, my husband called the boss to complain that we'd gotten a light cleaning instead of a deep move-in cleaning, and it had cost a lot of money. The owner was professional and said the $350 should cover the cleaning team staying until we were satisfied. She called them and sent them back to our house. The cleaning team returned and apologized, and then spot cleaned everything we pointed out specifically, but they did not have the appropriate supplies to tackle the handprint grime and kitchen cabinet sticky/greasy areas. They ended up trying to use our dishwashing soap and our sink sponge to scrub, which was somewhat effective. They stayed for another 45 min, and then left again. As they were putting their stuff in the car, I found a couple of little cabinets that were camouflaged by the kitchen trim, that were very dirty inside. The cleaner gamely come back into the house a third time and wiped them down. Since they left, we have been finding areas that were either untouched or only lightly wiped down without an eye for detail or effectiveness. One bathroom was nice and clean, the other had soap scum and some mold in the shower stall still. Finished basement didn't seem to have been touched. Everyone we interacted with at the company was polite, however they don't seem to have a clear understanding of the difference between light weekly cleaning versus deep move-in cleaning, or they did not have the cleaning supplies necessary (degreaser, scrubbers, etc.) to handle deep cleaning. Another piece of advice for would-be customers is to negotiate your rate more precisely, as we still ended up paying $53/hr per cleaner, which is pretty steep. We would not hire them again.

File this under "too good to be true" -- and I am unsure who is at fault, Pessoa Batista Cleaning or Angie's List for describing an inaccurate "Big Deal." (We didn't start off on the best foot, as we had difficulty getting the Pessoa Batista to specify exactly when they would be arriving after giving them two weeks notice of our preferred dates. Vera texted the arrival time to a wrong number and then sent a message through Angie's List very late the night before a 7:30 am arrival.) We purchased an advertised big deal through Angie's List for "$199 of Deep Housecleaning for homes up to 3500 sq ft.", which described a very thorough house cleaning including the following: "includes cleaning the interior of oven and refrigerator" and "Deep cleaning services include cleaning the blinds, base boards, window sills, ceiling fans, and other high dusting." However, the cleaning that Vera and her team provided was approximately two hours (x3 workers) of rather general housecleaning -- dusting, sweeping/vacuuming. (Which, would be great if I had contracted with them for "routine" cleaning.) But we just moved into this house a few weeks ago, and were hoping for something deeper. The baseboards, for example, were still quite dusty and the appliances showed no evidence that they had been cleaned on their interiors. When I called Vera to touch base after I returned home from work, she explained her understanding that the deal only provided for EXTERIOR cleaning of oven and fridge -- surfaces and sides, and that I was mistaken. I don't want to ding Pessoa Batista Cleaning because they seem like very honest and efficient workers... But the service provided and the service advertised by Angie's list do not correspond. For $199, we expected a more thorough, deep, housecleaning.

Great job. Wood floors sparkle, baths shiny fast quiet. Highest recommendation.

great they cleaned behind things and had good equipment

The team of three arrived promptly at the scheduled time. They went to work right away, starting with our upstairs (3 bedrooms, two full baths, and a laundry room). Afterwards, they moved downstairs to do another bedroom, full and 1/2 baths, kitchen, dining area, great room, living room, and sunroom. They vacuumed, dusted, cleaned furniture, scrubbed and mopped all carpets/tile floors, and emptied garbage baskets. We are very pleased with their efficiency and thoroughness. We plan on using them again and highly recommend them.

I would not recommend them. We agreed on this amount to get a thorough clean and not a touch up clean. They scratched my stainless steel fridge door and many kitchen cabinets were still very sticky. Lesson learned.. always check in details before they leave. We trusted their work but later on we found many places still filthy. NIGHTMARE.

Everything went well. They were prompt and efficient. They did an excellent job cleaning our large 2 car agarage which was quite dirty. It was a pleasure to work with them.

Everything looks fantastic! 3 girls came and finished cleaning the apartment in about 90 minutes. They were fast and efficient, and they did a great job cleaning everything. I will definitely use them again!

Over all pretty well. Not the best ever but pretty good. I would tell someone that they did a really nice job cleaning and it looked really nice when they were done. The negatives were that I thought there were some communication issues. For better or worse they straightened up a bunch of stuff that was cluttered which included sometimes mooshing stuff together that I had a hard time finding things afterwards and accidentally throwing some things away that shouldn't have been thrown away. I also wasn't sure but they mopped the wood floors and I wasn't really sure if that was proper. They mopped them in a very wet way and with wood floors I don't think that's supposed to be the way to do it properly. It was one of those things where I thought it was a good deal and it was nice to have the cleaning but I'm not sure that I would hire them again.

They called me back promptly and scheduled an appointment. They did a great job.

Would not use them again. They dusted and swept the floor and left after an hour, although the offer said up to two hours of work. The floor was still dirty. When I contacted them, they initially said they would come back to clean it better, but then they decided not to and I cleaned it myself.

I had purchased a deal through Angie's List. The cleaners did a very good job and really tried to go above and beyond. Due to my location, there was some difficulty scheduling a mutually agreeable time.

What worked well: A mother/daughter team arrived as scheduled (rated an 'A') with a bucket, rags, step ladder and broom which they put to very good use. They worked efficiently (rated a 'B' for quality) and took instructions well although communication was conducted solely through the younger woman whom I presume was the daughter. I rated their responsiveness a 'B' as I had hoped they would take the initiative on tasks but seemed to look to me for that. As a result, I worked alongside the pair helping with tasks and providing real-time action items and comments. Despite their slightness, they relocated heavy boxes, moved bulky items, and were able to reach the tops of cabinets. Although we had contracted for a full three hours, I believe I used less than two hours as my expectations were met. If I were to do this again, I would have a more comprehensive list. At the end of the job, I felt real accomplishment for a task I had been deferring for a long time. Area to improve: The business owner communicated very early in the process to schedule a workday and through oversight I did not close the loop. Hence when I did contact the owner, the workday was booked with another client so I offered alternate dates but did not hear back from the owner. When the owner called back after leaving several voicemails (rated a 'C' for professionalism), she told me that she would try for the original work day. As the workday approached and I did not receive confirmation, I called the owner who reminded me she was to call back only if there was a conflict. This was not made clear to me or I misunderstood. Nevertheless, we resolved our conflict. Nothing drives like a good deadline and in this case scheduling contractors to help with a task I dreaded, motivated me toward getting the job done. While the team worked quickly, it became clear that I needed to be present to provide direction which I didn't mind. That and using some of my power/electric tools could have accounted for the early completion. The pricing was excellent but I would have appreciated more professionalism in scheduling. I gave this contractor an overall rating of 'B' and I would recommend this service provider to customers looking to get that garage organized.

The young girl was excellent but the older woman wasn't as good but finally, after repeating what I wanted, it worked out alright. They were okay but I wouldn't pay a regular price for them. They cleaned according to my instruction. They were late but she called and explained why. I had very specific things that I wanted done first. They were used to doing things- at least the older one was, in doing things their way. They started doing things that I wasn't as interested in. They did what I wanted as well but I wasn't sure there was going to be time for that and so I was concerned with what I wanted done first. Because of the deal it was a good price, the regular price is not.

Overall, the cleaners do a good job! When they first came using an Angie's list deal, it was for 4 hours of cleaning and they really did a great job. However, after using the service monthly now, the quality of their service has dropped a bit. Again, it's still good, but I wish that it was great! I noticed some dirt in the corners of some rooms, and some dust bunnies still on the walls after they leave. Also, sometimes they are late, but I do always receive a text indicating that they are running behind. Most of the time, one of the members can speak english, but sometimes all of the cleaners that come don't speak English which can be hard if I have to give specific instructions.

Very professional and great results

Scheduling was a NIGHTMARE. Several contacts were necessary to schedule and Vera cancelled twice at the last minute, due to car problems. Her rescheduling meant thatI had to do the cleaning I needed done. For the 3rd date, I tried to reschedule one week ahead and she was non-responsive, so I had to change my schedule. By that time she thought the "deal" was for 4, not 5 hours of cleaning. I was so frustrated I didn't argue that I had paid for 5 hours. She had the wrong address, but fortunately doubled checked before coming. The young women she sent did a good job of cleaning my small deck, but scratched the bathroom cabinet

I bought the super deal and tried to arrange a service. However, the time just did not work out for me and had to cancel it. However, it has been a pleasure to communicate with Vera. She is very responsible and responsive. Will do business again in the future.

It went very well. They called in the morning and told me there was a minor delay but they were there shortly after the scheduled time, which was fine. One of the crew spoke English which is always helpful when you're trying to explain things that are a little out of the ordinary. There were 3 people, one of whom was familiar to me - I've used this company before - and all were very nice. My only issue is that I found out after I bought the deal that the only days they were available were Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. I work and am off on Thursdays and Fridays. I did have occasion to take a Wednesday off and scheduled the visit then but it was later than I wanted it to happen.

Cleaning was adequate. two persons showed up on time. the one in charge was preoccupied with a personal cell phone call on arrival and for the first ten minutes which made it difficult to communicate.
