Description of Work: Moved from a 2 Bed Apartment to a Single Family. Excellent service. Leo used 4 men in stead of 3 that we agreed. I agreed to pay a little more per hour (for 4 men) but the overall cost, even including tips, was a lot less than what he (and I) estimated. Even the original estimate was less than what was provided by some other moving companies |I have heard a lot of horror stories about Movers charging more , breaking stuff etc. but for us , it was a very smooth sailing.

 + 0 moreThey showed up on time, and the moving crew was very careful with the piano and furniture and worked hard. Everything seemed great until it was time to produce a bill. We were aware that we were responsible for paying for their travel time, but a journey that should have taken 20-30 minutes max, supposedly took 1-1.5 hrs (and we had to pay for this in both directions). The short version of the story is that the crew decided to go get breakfast on their way and charge us for it. We had to get on the phone with Leo to straighten things out, and in the end, we only overpaid a little for the crew's breakfast stop, but we were irritated that we had to deal with this.
Description of Work: I hired Middlesex Movers to move a piano, TV, and some other misc. large furniture between houses in the same town.

 + 0 moreThe movers were prompt. The owner of the company came with them to walk through the job and explain things to the guy in charge of the move. He then left, and the guys were phenomenal. They were very polite and asked where we wanted things once they moved them to the house. Everything was handled with care and wrapped. The price was reasonable at $144 an hr. I'd use them again. They really know how to move pianos.
Description of Work: The move was done on 7/27/06. It was 4 men moving a second floor apt. (4 rooms),including a piano and excluding appliances to a ranch house. The move took 5.5 hrs. to complete. They really knew how to move a piano and did a great job.
