Description of Work: Lars was very responsive, professional, and knowledgeable and we would hire him again in a heart beat for any electrical work. We came home on a windy Saturday afternoon to discover we had lost half our power including our heat and our entire kitchen earlier in the morning. We called NSTAR but they said the problem was on our end and to call an electrician. Lars was the only electrician of several that my husband called on Sunday morning (after spending a cold February night with no heat) that was willing to come check out the issue. He spent 4 hours replacing the meter socket and cabling only to discover that it was indeed an NSTAR issue at the street. Lars went above and beyond by waiting with us until NSTAR called and he told them exactly what he had done and where the issue was. He even called later that night to make sure NSTAR had fixed the problem and that we had heat again.

Description of Work: The electricity to our detached garage was interrupted during a repaving of our driveway. The pavers ran a conduit pipe under the driveway so that power could be restored. While this was an unexpected expense, we contacted three electricians. Lars was the most responsive and most competitively priced. Lars demonstrated a 'can do' attitude; one of the other estimators kept saying 'I don't know'. Lars showed up as scheduled for the estimate and the work. He advised us how we could reduce the price for the job (sub out digging a trench to a lower priced subcontractor) and he came in less than his estimate. We definitely would use Lars again in the future.
